RDH: He’s not someone how is only obedient, that’s for sure.

What I mean is…. He knows how to admonish, he know how to scold,

and how to make compliments.

He’s someone who knows when to help, he is to me.

That’s why I can depend on him so much.

 

JJH: I’ve learned the tea ceremony in palace Woon Hyun, during drama ‘Palace”.

I’ve learned it…..

 

旁白: Joo Ji Hoon’s method of drinking tea –Comfort is the best policy.

 

JJH: but I can’t drink like that with my close friends.

 

Q: Do you remember how you drink tea?

 

JJH: I can’t remember clearly. But there’s a teacup.

You hold the cup with the hand, and after that.

You shouldn’t lower your head.

You hold it up, smell it and drink it.

And when you drink tea, we don’t drink tea while it is terribly hot.

You musn’t make sounds as if you are drinking coffee.

You should cool off the tea, until it’s warm, and drink like this.

I think that men and women had to use different hands.

It’s been too long since drama ‘palace’…

 

It’s unusual, but I used to like bitter things since I was young.

Flavors you can taste when you eat ginseng in raw.

I used to eat that well since I was young,

So I guess I drank tea first.

I drink black coffee now.

Milk coffee with cream…

Black coffee wasn’t needed long time ago.

It was mostly milk coffee.

I don’t like sweet things, so I didn’t drink coffee.

 

RDW: I don’t smoke.and instead I drink 10 cups of coffee a day.

But these days, I can’t drink much because of the concert.

He really helped me a lot with caring my throat.

He used to perform,so he taught you many know-hows?

Of course , he gave me the masks he received in Japan,

And even gave me some sweets.

He introduced me medicines and the hospital he used to go.

 

Q:Sweets?

Are sweets good for throats?

 

RDW: Yes, honey sweets.

 

JJH: It’s in Japan. I have an episode from being unfamiliar with Japanese.

‘Hana’ is nose, and “Miz’ is water. Is “Hachu’ honey?

It must be similar.

I’m not sure, but the candy name was ‘Hachimich’

So I ….

I told you that my friend Kang Tae Yeol, a musical actor lived in Japan for 4years.

He has been a musical actor for long, so he taught me the know-hows.

He told me honey is good…

Ah , I’m not sure but there’s a candy named ‘Hachimich’

He said it’s good for throat,

And told me that I should eat it while practicing.

So I called my friend in Japan

And said ‘Hey, there’s the Hanamiz candy right? Buy me one’,

And he almost fainted laughing.

Hanamiz’ means snivel.

And I told him to buy me a snivel candy …

Hanamiz…isn’t it funy ? I’m sorry.

Your reaction was so awkward.

You forced the smile right?

 

RDH: No, it was fine.

He has really tried hard by making us laugh without using foul words

 

JJH: I’m not good in using foul words.

Right? I don’t use foul words that much.

But…the slangs that middle and high school kids use.

It’s funny if we adults use it, because we don’t use that often…

People like it , if I use that.

 

RDH: Joo Ji Hoon as a human, and not an actor was shown here, and today.

He’s close to nature, he always wants to be free.,

and wants to express that freedom with his body,

and he hopes that many people will share that together.

 

JJH: And you have to warm the teacup with hot water.

After warming it, throw away the water.

Pass this teacup around to these friends.

I’m not sure whether this is right, but my mother does that.

It’s because the shooting is kind of  busy now,

But she keeps warming it all the time.

I was good to see her way of treating things.

That kind heart…

You might think of me as an richard simmons if someone like me say this.

But since it’s ture, will just say it out.

If you think rain isn’t just rain, but THE mighty rain,

you will feel more composure. 

And think the moon as THE moon.

It’s good to think in that way.

THE sun, and THE moon is an expression that appears in fairy tales.

The f of fairy is kid ‘f’, and I don’t think , it’s necessary to share that.

 

RDH: Actually we use the word THE sun.

But why can’t we say THE moon, and THE rain?

That doesn’t make sense.

 

JJH: Duk Hwan, Jae Wook, and me, and all my other friends,

who act or don’t act think of this more seriously than me.

We are not forcing others to break those prejudices,

but we are just keeping it to ourselves.

 

RDH: but we are just keeping it to ourselves.

Q: How is Joo Ji Hoon as an actor?

 

RDH: I was surprised.

I never knew he was such a deep thinking person.

I've talked with him, and he watches a lot of movies.

I also watch may movies at home.

But I think Joo Ji Hoon watches about 10 movies a week.

He really likes movie, he loves movie sincerely,

he knows how to see through into peoples outlook.

And when he sees movies or plays, he has his own clear outlook.

He's a person who has a clear standard of evaluating the style

of the movie he watched.

Actors really need that.

It's difficult to set a standard.

Because you have to listen to the directors, other people and

it's hard to control oneself.

An actor who doesn't ignore that but accepts it generally

and set his own standard is a real good actor.

I've met him only for 1 year.

But other people think that I knew him for 10 years.

I really talk a lot of him.

When others ask where I am, I'm with Ji Hoon,

When they ask what I'm doing, I'm drinking with Ji Hoon.

 

JJH: Are you with Jihoon?

 

RDH: With Ji Hoon?

I'm speaking fast ...

Where are you?

Then I tell them I'm with Ji Hoon.

And when I tell my mom I'll be late, she asks where will you be?

I'll sleep over at Ji Hoon's house.

It's always like that.

 

JJH:? Really You didn't come to my house many times.

Whose house did you sleep in?

RDH: I sleep over often.

I actually don't sleep over often.

 

JJH: It's a joke.

 

RDH: I've been an actor since I was very young,

And have been the hero of movies since I was twenty.

And so people who are older than me don't treat me like a young brother when we have a conversation.

They just think of me as "the guy who've been a hero in the movie",

 

JJH: and an old actor.

 

RDH: Well, so they don't treat me friendly.

There ware so many people who will say 'but still you've been a hero'

If I asked them for consulation.

And then, I met Ji Hoon.

There's Uni, who was very close with Ji Hoon,

and I felt about the word 'brother', when I met him.

I don't have my own brother, so I felt like he was my brother.

And Ji Hoon held out the word brother to me first.

He was someone who wanted to be my brother, and I said yes.

That was the source of trouble.

It's a joke.

 

JJH: I act as his brother, and he pays for dinner.

It's a deal we've made.

 

RDH: He's as person who made me think that he's such a deep person,

and someone who can make me learn what I didn't know,

and someone who made me want to share everything I have.

There are characteristics of tall and handsome people,

but he broke that character all the time.

He made me think that he isn't an actor who is acting without pretense.

I didn't know what kind of person he was,

but after I got to know him, just like what I've said,

I thought he was a person who has more than I thought,

and I could learn what I didn't know from him.   

He knows a lot.

Really a lot.

He knows various things.

Various doesn't mean anything bad.

 

It's not that he knows unnecessary things,

but knows pratical things and he tells me things that can

help me out, since he knows many things

That helped me a lot

KJW: Well..how should I say this…

He’s really so close with me…

It’s difficult to express a person with words.

It will be easier to say that when I’m not so close with him.

But it’s awkward to say that to a real close person.

Meeting a person, whether he’s old or young,

Whatever relationship we are in , should I respect?

I like people who I can respect.

Whether it’s about something I have, or whether it’s something I don’t have .

What must I say about Ji hoon?

It’s a mixture of feelings..

For example, I am a bad tempered person, and doesn’t know how to consider.

But when I see someone who is so warm, and when that looks sincere,

I get to respect him. 

I will also have a longing for the things I don’t have.

But Ji Hoon has those many staffs and it’s so confusing…

It’s very relative, but he shows me all of that.

 He’s warm, but sometimes he is very cool-headed, as a professional,he knows to see the general…he does’t put up himself in relationships but he thinks more of the whole balance in a relationship.

That includes his life in normal, and life as an actor.

That’s what he and I different, and I want to learn that. 

 

JJH: You should die alone. Why do you want to die with me? 

 

KJW: He speaks a lot.

He talks a lot because he’s not talkative but, well, he is sort of talkative,

but he wants to deliver his thought perfectly.

That’s impossible to deliver all the thoughts.

About how much I love you,

How nuch I think about you,

How much I hate you ,

I think delivering my feelings perfectly to other person is impossible.

He also knows it’s impossible

But maybe it is his habit. 

For example,

He can talk for 10 or 20 minutes . about how delicious this is.

To set an extreme example, I know this from working together,

it applies while talking about acting too.

Maybe that’s some passion….

A passion gushing out from the mouth.

He’s the top of that between the people I know.

You will know if you work together.

But when you see him talk ,he’s very logical.

But that sounds very dispersed at first.

and you will only think that he’s very talkative,

but people get used to things.

It sounds right if you keep listening…

And he really does say right things…

His introductions are long.

When you hear his preliminaries,

you know what he’s going to say next.

I didn’t spend a long time with him,

but we’ve worked together,

and there were many incidents.

He and I are the closest between the people who work in this business.

I trust Ji Hoon the most from the people who I work with. 

 

Q:Don’t you sometimes feel hatred? 

 

KJW: It’s love and hatred.

It’s because I don’t listen well to him.

He always tell me that I should meet someone like me

and feel what he feels, and only then I will know what he means. 

 

Q: It’s what mothers usually say. 

 

KJW:That’s what he said. 

 

Q:He must be quite feminine? 

 

KJW: Yes, he’s a bit feminine.

He’s not a macho, never! He sometimes is …

It’s vague to define hime with one word.

He thinks a lot and sees things in various angles.

But he is still self-centered.

So as what I’ve said at first,

he is a person who is mixed up with many things.  

 

Q: How did you become friends? 

 

KJW: We’ve got close while shooting a movie,

and we’ve been together all the time.

We met everyday for a few monthes,

and were together except sleeping time. 

Especially we talked a lot while shooting

and Sun Woo and Jin Hyuk’s relationship is important in the movie.

Ji Hoon and I had to communicate a lot in some parts,

so we met often when it was unnecessary.

We talked about each other, and mostly about the movie. 

 

Q: A word to Joo Ji Hoon’s fans. 

 

KJW: Please stay by Ji Hoon’s side

whether what he is going through,

and I want to thank you as a brother to the ones who love Ji Hoon.

You should decide whether to love him or not by seeing what he does.

I want to tell you that the times you’ve spent

loving Ji Hoon wasn’t a waste at all.

He’s such a nice person and an actor.

All of you take care, and please wait until Ji Hoon comes back.

During the shooting of “Mantra”, Jihoon was so tired that he fell asleep. Instead of waking him up, a staff member took a picture of him. When he woke up and saw the very person in the picture, he smiled like a child and asked “Who is he?”

Joo Jihoon and Gain of Brown Eyed Girls are confirmed to be dating! It's all over the news today. Wow, never expected this but I'm truly happy for my boy. 
They started dating after making Gain's MV but has been friends for eight years. Theirs is what we call destiny. 
I find comfort in the thought that someone is finally taking care of Jihoon, nurturing him to be the best person that he can be. Wishing him and Gain the best!

Been a while since I comment on this thread but I just want to drop by to say "Congratulations" to Jihun! I still have this feeling of *pinch* in my heart but that is his personal life and he deserves all these happiness. I am happy for him to find someone who will take care of him. And while looking at Gain's face I thought how lukcy she is to have someone like Jihun not just because he makes someone nervous because he's so handsome but Oppa is someone that is just great - though I don't know him personally.

Dear Hunnies,

Long time no post from me.  But I am still here...

Thank you all for the posts, pictures and videos,.... for being faithful to JiHoon.

From the AOM transcripts posted by @HookedOnJJH, it is nice to note that JiHoon has also celebrity-director friends who are sincere and faithful to him.

Last but not the least, I am happy that JiHoon is now in a relationship!  I wish both of them happiness and success !!!  I hope we continue to support JiHoon no matter what.
