Hee Jae is a lawyer at an elite law firm and Geum Ja, who is also a lawyer, is trying to do whatever she can to get high profile cases so that she can make more money. The two realize that they’re total opposites and are better off staying away from each other, that is, until a specific case forces them to work together.

 

This is a noona drama that really doesn’t feel like one. There are not many noona K-drama main leads that can pull this off. Joo Ji Hoon’s mature acting, character, and aura definitely made us a believer in his connection and feelings for Kim Hye Soo’s Jang Geum Ja. There is so much tension and angst between them whenever they are on screen. This chemistry carried the series, making it one of the best of the year. MBC’s “The Item” is based on the original webtoon written by Min Hyung and Kim Joon Seok. The webtoon was a success as a result of its fantasy and thriller genre. The first chapter of the webtoon was first published in March of 2017 and the drama was released on February 11, 2019. It starred Joo Ji Hoon and Jin Se Yoon.

 

The story is about a hot shot prosecutor named Kang Gon (Joo Ji Hoon) who risks his life to figure out the truth behind a particular item that exhibits superpowers. Joo Ji Hoon’s portrayal of the strong-willed, but warm-hearted Kang Gon is very memorable.

The movie, which is currently in pre-production, is scheduled to begin filming next month, August. I hope he will accept the offer! ***There should be something special about Han So Hee why she is being considered as the female lead for both Park Seo Joon and Joo Ji Hoon at the same time who are legit hot leading men. I hope we could get to hear JJH 's decision soon if he's taking this movie. Joo Ji Hoon doesn’t seem fond of taking long breaks in between projects. Casting agents & production directors were asked which actor in 2021 currently is their no. 1 choice when it comes time to cast a project. (6) votes went to PSJ in 1st place, followed by Gong Yoo with (5) votes and then Hyunbin got (4) votes. Top 5 are Kim Soo Hyun & Kang Ha Neul who each got (3) votes. Joo Ji Hoon & Ji Chang Wook got (1) vote & other actors......... BTW, there's an actress version of this as well, too.
