I read 100 splendid suns last week, and LOVED it. so i had to read his first novel. stayed up till 230am last nite to read 1/2 of it.. probably staying up tonite to finish ^^;

Just finished reading Yakuza Moon: Memoirs of A Gangster's Daughter by Shoko Tendo

Book about a woman who was both daughter and wife to Yakuza..

touches on issues such as drug addiction, poverty, psychological, sexual abuse, miscarriage..etc.

Wish I could get around to reading more often but I'm swamped with exams, readings and essays )=

I started reading WIT by Margaret Edson. The main character is soo funny.
