hey everyone..i just got done reading some posts from the korean music thread.. in the forum about celebrity counters, people had negative things about our shg... kinda makes me mad and i don't believe what they are saying i hope you all don't believe it because in my opinion she just looks so shy and private that's why these people considered her a snob. this is what they are saying:

i definitely have to agree with Candy on this one. even though i haven't met her or known her personally, im willing to vouch for her because she's been the kind and loving person that we know of. some might say that it's her beauty that we love, but beauty alone is not what lured me to her. it's also her personality and acting that made me a bonafied fan of hers. it's true that she's gorgeous, i can't argue against that... but as i was saying, with her great acting skills and personality combined with one and only beauty, who couldn't help but love her?

i've been trying to refrain from listening to people who are badmouthing her cuz for me those words are not true; not until Hye Kyo confirms it. i won't change my mind until that time comes. all these stuff that are going on is just tarnishing her image and popularity. i can't imagine the pain and suffering Hye Kyo has to go through whenever these kinds of rumors circulates in the public. it's just maddening. :fury:

for me, she's still my favorite korean actress. i think i will be her loyal fan forever.

People should just get over the fact that a lot of people in SOOMPI love Hye Kyo. Most of SHK's fans are actually silent. They just vote for her in all those darn polls that people create. I don't see why these losers want to keep on dissing Hye Kyo. What the heck?

Moreover, I don't get how fans expect their celebrities to be 100% friendly all the time. Aren't stars allowed to have a bad mood? If I were popular, I would get pretty annoyed from time to time too.

In any case, I guess some people have nothing better to do. It is only Hye Kyo who gets all sorts of "smear campaign" in soompi. First it was her teeth, now this. I don't see this happening with Son Ye Jin, Jeon Ji Hyun or Shih Mina or God knows who. Hye Kyo is popular and some folks just CANNOT ACCEPT the fact.

It's so NOT true that SHG is only popular here on soompi! She is popular not only in Korea but in other Asian countries as well. In fact, most of the visitors to my site aren't from soompi, they come from the Phillipines, Vietnam, Hong Kong, etc. Her fan base is pretty much world wide! As for in Korea, I was just there this past summer and yeah, I didn't see much stuff of Hye Gyo but that was because she was busy filming her movie. I did see Kim Tae Hee's pics in a lot of places like at the airport, in the store, etc. It's silly to always compare KTH to SHG, they are both beautiful and talented! And plus, even my Korean friend who lives IN Korea said that the "trend" as far as what and who is popular changes ALL THE TIME there!! It just depends on what popular drama, song, movie, etc is out. SHG has been popular for a long time in Korea...people, old and young know who she is and from what I've heard, they like her.

We'll never know how she is in real life because we don't personally know her! But from what I see of her in interviews and stuff, she seems like a nice gal who has a good heart and a good head on her shoulders. Let's just shake those hatas off!

its not like i worship shk or what, i don't, im her fan and im proud of it, i think these people are just insecure that shk is prettier and is natural in acting. They dont realize that stars get tired sometimes, they think that stars are perfect, that they should be friendly w/ them at all times and she is popular in korea thats why she has many projects there, do they think that if she's not popular, then why does she have tons of working commitment. duhhhh?!? :fury: i really hate it when people misjudge others they're not a judge anyways.lol.
