3 actors of United Artist Agency (UAA): Yoo Ah In, Song Hye Gyo and Kang Dong Won, join the support of Sewol Ferry relief efforts by sending the relief supplies on Saturday, April 19, to the family members of missing passangers who have been waiting for days in Jindo.

The 3 actors sent blankets, beddings, food and toiletries secretly because they didn't want to make fuss about it.

Authority confirmed that they have received the supplies from the actors.

According to the post on Song Hye Kyo’s fan community website, on 21, UAA has sent the relief supplies for the needs of the families at the site such as, blankets and toiletries.

Besides, many other celebrities are joining the help for the families and the rescue by giving donations and participating in relief work directly.

Song Hye Kyo, Kang Dong Won and Yoo Ah In’s Agency Send Needed Items to SEWOL Victims′ Families

UAA (United Artists Agency), which houses Song Hye Kyo, Kang Dong Won and Yoo Ah In, have joined to help out the victim families of the SEWOL sinking tragedy.

On April 16, at around 9 a.m., the passenger ship, SEWOL, began to sink. With so many victims still missing, the entire country of Korea is currently grieving, including stars. In the midst of these events, Kang Dong Won, Song Hye Kyo and Yoo Ah In’s agency, UAA has garnered attention by lending a hand in the rescue efforts.

On April 21, UAA sent needed items, such as blankets and toiletries, to the victims′ families who are staying in a gymnasium on the island of Jindo. One netizen spotted the efforts and posted a picture online.

Newsen spoke with UAA on April 21, and the agency stated, “Honestly, we didn’t want to let this be known. We’re caught off-guard as it became highlighted. It’s something that should be done and we merely participated in it. We’re more burdened by the fact that it was publicized. We’re embarrassed. We hope that in the future, things like this get done quietly.”

Meanwhile, Song Seung Hun, Oh Joo Hwan, Colbie Talbot, Park Jae Min and more have donated to the victims and families of this tragedy.

It has been belatedly revealed that artists from management agency UAA (United Artists Agency) have donated relief goods to families of the missing victims of the Sewol ferry disaster at the Jindo port. UAA is home to actress Song Hye Gyo, and actors Kang Dong Won and Yoo Ah In.

A rep from UAA stated, “On April 18, the actors wanted to help even just a little so they sent relief goods.” Because the actors didn’t want a big fuss made out of it, the relief goods were sent through the name of the management agency.

Besides these three actors, other celebrities, including baseball player Ryu Hyun Jin, actors Song Seung Hun and On Joo Wan, and fans of various idol groups have donated to the relief efforts of the Sewol ferry disaster.
