Hey guys, it's been awhile since I last update : ) got some more old photos of my hair since I was bored haha. Took around 2 years ago when I was around 19.

Both hairstyles cut by me... right is when I had black hair.

how to make your sides look choppy

like u can see the layer?

like mine are like just straight and it pisses me off soo badly ;

Thinning shears work best for me. Razors work, but I've personally never tried layering my hair with it. One more thing, styling makes a big difference. Show off those layers

After I used them, split ends popped

up more. I was upset. So, I'm going

to go with thinning shears the next

time I decide I need a bit more

layering. But.. I've decided to grow

I need help.

I guess people here would be nicer to me 'coz I see less narrow minded people here.

School is gonna start in a few days and I'm planning to have a haircut soon, maybe tomorrow.

Do you think an edgy fierce hairstyle would look good me? That's the kind of hairstyle I want on myself but if it wouldn't look good on me, well I can't do anything. But there's no harm in asking

^ I say do something funky without going overboard. Maybe try keeping your hair long but with lots of layers? Your face shape is pretty long so that's good but the shape isn't the only thing that's a factor when choosing hairstyles. A lot has to do with your features too.

Oh, I like long hair with lots of layers. I usually get my hair cut like that. My hair has lots of layers, but it's just grown out. I wouldn't want to go overboard too. I want a funky yet sane style.

I was thinking like...Jenny from Gossip Girl's hair about the layers. I guess I meant choppy? I'll go find a pic tomorrow. It's when she goes a bit more rocker style.

Just...anything that's got a choppy razored look to it makes it edgy.

Hahaha. Thanks, but it's harder to maintain my current hair for some reason. Probably lost interest in trying to keep up with the look constantly.

Yup, I was kinda going for the Aoi look back then...also Kanon look from antic cafe cause I loved both their black hairstyle.

Raix: I love that hairstyle! I wanted a haircut similar to yours, but my mom (and everyone else in my family) hates short hair on girls . . . had to get shoulder length hair instead. TT^TT

My grandma said I'd look like a "stripper." ಠ_ಠ

Seriously, how many strippers do you know have short hair like that? NONE! THAT'S HOW MANY! They usually have long hair (sometimes extensions) or highlights or something like that.

Back on topic, I love how you girls can pull off the boys' hairstyles so well! I just need to get my narrow-minded parents/relatives to be more open to "new things" or in other words, "the current trends."

I agree with the thinning sheers. Take a small chunk of hair, twirl it up (around your finger at first) so it's bound together tightly, and start chopping with the thinning sheers at the length you like. Then repeat all around in the areas you want. Works like a charm, doesn't create a straight edge at all but it's something more "systematic" and easy to do. I hope that made sense too, btw, if it didn't just ask and I'll elaborate. ^^
