Thanks so, so much to Shirley, Ripgal, Imogene, o-cha, and so many others...everyone who contributed their brilliant summaries, comments, and...not to forget...all the screen caps...to this thread. I simply must have this series on DVDs and if SBS doesn't put it out, I will campaign for YA to do it for the US market...and there is always a chance we can persuade AZN to broadcast it in the US (despite the horrible way they broadcast Kdramas... scenes cut and commercials always at the wrong time...)... I hate to see this thread and the series come to an end!

I especially liked LOVED these comments:

Watching Ep 16 was more so a happy experience for me rather than a sad one. Finally everybody accepted OJ and gave him a chance to live a life he'd wished for. And my, I can't stress how handsome OJ/Jang Hyuk looked in this episode. I don't know..but I kept swooning over him, to the extent that I thought he looked so good despite his wavy curls. I loved the white coat/jacket OJ wore in this episode.. I realised it was the first time in the entire drama, that he wore a bright colored jacket. Somehow, I kinda thought it was a reflection and symbol of OJ wanting to start over with DR. And when he smiled... aww..I just went... :blush: :blush: And of course, DR's as pretty as ever.. When they're together, I just goo awww... what a beautiful couple.

On to the resolution of OJ and DR's relationship, it was simple IMO. They showed scenes of them being so happy together.. and that's what I was hoping for. Showing DR, OJ and Soon Dae enjoying themselves as a happy family. I do agree tho that some of the lines OJ said to DR were quite cheesy..but it's alright, because I felt the sizzling chemistry. I loved loved the scene of DR and OJ hugging, and SD came staring at them! It was sooo cute..she was like, what's mommy doing with my BF OJ? hahahahhaa... This kid sure knows her way around men huh?

Oh, I wanted to mention about the embraces and hugs of OJ and DR in this drama. Don't you guys think that the embraces and hugs in this drama were exceptionally heartwarming and romantic? I loved all of DR and OJ's embraces.. especially those of OJ hugging DR while burying his head into her silky hair. Those scenes were especially passionate, and even more effective than their kisses. The other one was the part of DR hugging OJ from behind, GAAHHHHH... altho OJ was crying, my tummy actually fluttered at that moment. Because it was such a romantic moment.. DR holding OJ in her arms.. while he bawled his eyes out.

...The casts did extremely well with their roles... especially Jang Hyuk and Lee Da Hae. Jang Hyuk's acting skills have indeed improved leaps and bounds after his military service and Thank You.. no doubt he's one of the most refined actors out there now. And LDH, I love her. She's just awesome as DR.. she totally shed off the cutesy image she had in My Girl and showed to us a different kind of versatility as an actress. KUDOS to both of them for bringing us a great drama Robbers!

It's Wednesday...and it only just hit me hard today...there is no more Robbers. I usually look forward to Wed and Thurs so I can see spoilers for Robbers...*sighhhh...* no more of that.

I tried looking for pics from the party too...but so far nothing. I guess we'll all just have to keep searching.

I must say I was absolutely NOT expecting Oh Joon to give Dal Rae back her money

JUST like that.

Honestly, I don't understand where the relationship consideration came into

his mind. During the whole part where he was getting back his money and seeing Dal Rae

practically panic outside the cafe.

I didn't feel that "love" so to speak, I just saw regret regret and regret (prolificness intended).

And then when he gave back the money it made me so confuse about the beginning o_O

Until I figured out that it was another one of his "kohjidmal".

His instant linkage to Yu Jin Soondae and vice versa shows that he is more compatible with

Dal Rae in itself, in it that Jin Goo couldn't give that first impression with Yu Jin himself

which shows that he is at a disadvantage because Dal Rae above all bring her daughter first.

The scenes with Yu Jin Soondae and Oh Joon playing and having a good time made me so

warm in my heart.

But then the scene with Jin Goo and his father made me almost sympathize for him

although he is the character that really BORES me to death.

This part was rather interesting because the audience was able to capture the one

moment where Jin Goo is highly emotional...which was interesting indeed.

Anyway, I am still watchin episode 7 part 3 and I just wanted to stop and write

this considering I feel that if I don't I won't want to later on xD.

And I feel awfully bad that this thread is like dying o_O

Seriously, this drama is hella good although rather typical

its really the interactions with the characters that really hook me though.

PLUS, the chemistry between JANG HYUK and LEE DAE HEE.

Awww, Episode 7 was such love for me, Oh Joon's battle with his inner feelings and turmoil for Dal Rae was the best part of that. And his instant connection with Soon Dae was when we saw the very tender part of him, a part that just wants to connect with someone and have that connection of family. One of the best scenes for me in this series was when Oh Joon look at Dal Rae's pots and pans, with this expression of awe and LOVE. It still makes me swoon til this day.

And don't worry Jin Goo will come around in Episode 8.

The drama at its surface seems typical but it's the characters and their complexities that make this drama. Thanks for reviving this thread. I really miss this drama so damn much.

And yes, the chemistry between Jang Hyuk and Lee Da Hae is amazing.

I've watched 15 and 16 around 5 times each -

and after much reflection - I have to tip my hat off to the writers

for giving us such a "real life" ending -

Yes, the boy gets the girl -

and sometimes - the other people's lives just go on -

without their fairy tale choices...

But.... I can see this ending happening in the real world

-happening to some of my friends....

- and that's why I like it.

p.s. to hjkomo - working on this show has kept me from looking at any of the threads.
