[help] Renaming File Names :\

problem~

so recently i download snsd's album from z-degrees and the sort of include their site link in the file names as well.



when i tried renaming it to take out the 'z-degrees.net' link, it doesn't work..i tried all ways to rename it but nothing happens..it's like they 'locked' it or something T_T;


this happened to the suju album i downloaded too.. and in my ipod, wmp, etc, '[z-degrees.net]' appears too~

anyway way to get rid of that? :\

What are you using to change it?

You can use Winamp to change it for sure. You can change all the information of the song.

oo<3 i didn't know that XD anyway, i tried and it gave me this :-

check that the 'read only' box isn't ticked when you click on properties for that file.

if it is, untick it & you should be able to rename everything~

Ermms. I have no knowledge of renaming files to this extent ..

But since it's encoded into the file, have you tried copying it?

Idk, maybe it won't let you copy .. Or the encoding might be carried to the copy.

In that case, you should do what fragment has suggested (I think).

When all else fails, you can try downloading from a different source. x____x

i had the same problem as you before, & i got SUPER frustrated (cos i'm anal about renaming my files) so i clicked & tried every bloody thing till finally TADA~ glad it worked ^^
