  1. Yea I'm starting to understand. In the fantasy world, it's ok for BZH to love HQG, but in reality, it's not really a good idea. As a future parent, I would be very upset if my children dated their teacher. Personally, I want the teacher or mentor to protect and guide my children, not marry them and do other things. It's a iffy thing to deal with. So I'm starting to understand BZH too.

In some ways, YG and XLN's relationship is similar and different. @IMOmusings I definitely can see you view on them. It's wonderful seeing how you observed XLN and YG to BZH and HQG. XLN doesn't have any pressure or burden from the world. She couldn't careless and because they live secluded, it's not like it matter. Also, I believe the drama you are speaking about is a TVB show called "The Snow is Red".

    Gosh all these forbidden love.

I still love BZH and HQG together. I love the ending where they left to be secluded from the world and together they floated away into another valley.

@twenty6twelve glad you love it as much as us. My withdrawals are done but I still like watching it. :)

  2. @BellyButton Your right or Wallace is right too. Being mature and as a teacher, it's very difficult for BZH to say "HQG, I love you". But in general, some men or types of men like BZH have a hard time saying I love you. Maybe it's a pride thing, maybe they feel that saying I love you doesn't show their feelings so they want to PROVE their love in a different way. Either way, they will always remain a mystery or an interesting personality.

@tlt I use to love them too. But today, I'm ok with not having them. tlt, wait till you date them. It's great they sacrifice without asking anything back, but when we don't acknowledge it or notice it, they get upset or etc. Or worst, they do it, and we don't even know and we continue life as if they never did anything for us, so we never realize they loved us, and we move on. SIGH -__-

  3. @tlt I agree with you and the rest of you all @Cupcakeninja @myden... Watching HQG again made me realize and analyze the drama again from a more calmer perspective and I was able to pick up more things and actually observe how BZH behaved. I think I was so blinded by how beautiful everything was in the drama, that I didn't get to see how they acted and how clues were shown to us. Yea like everyone said, in the beginning BZH was trying hard to push HQG out of Chang Liu, but eventually on the day of choosing the disciples, he finally accepted and picked HQG has his only disciple. After that, he protected her as best as he could and subtly watched her to make sure she is doing well. It was beautiful re-watching it again.

Personally for me, I was so into the ending that I couldn't re-watch the past of BZH and HQG. I couldn't understand how or why did everything result to HQG as DG and BZH being so cruel and eventually breaking that he loved her. My heart was just so stuck at the part where she died and said, "You don't even love me, You have no right to die with me (or What gives you the right to die with me)." I watched that scene over 5 times. I was so focus on her as the DG that I didn't care to watch the innocent scenes again.

So when HQG re-aired again, it really brought me back and realize how sweet and innocent the drama was in the beginning. It's so sweet how she first met Mo Bing and fell in love with him and how he slightly had some feelings for her. Then she meets DFYQ and how cute he chases her to want to marry her and how her Tang Bao was born, calling her "Niang Qing"... Everything was so cute and adorable. But as I watch it re-air, my heart ached because I knew what would happen to her in the future. Re-watching the drama was very joyful again. It brought a lot of happy memories. Although the ending wasn't as happy and their were a lot of struggles, but there were a lot of good memories.

It's interesting how much one can endure so much suffering and change so much too... It's sad because it's happens often in life, where we all grow up innocently and sweet, but through obstacles and challenges, some of us can change so much.

Seeing how HQG turned into the DG, there was a point in time where I didn't understand when did she get so obsess with forcing BZH to love her and admit that he loves her. Like, why is it so important for you to make him admit that he loves you? I didn't understand how did it get to that point. What was she trying to prove??

For me, I just give up in trying to prove it or make him show me that he does love me, because honestly, it's a waste of my time, and in the end, what do I get out of it... Nothing... It doesn't change a thing...

  4. it could be me or something but when she talks her tongue bug me...

It's just not you, it bugs me too. Her body movement including her movement of her mouth and the voice doesn't go together.

I just finished watch yesterday and today's episodes. Gosh my favorite moments of Meng Jue and Yun ge is done. Now it's time for Yun Ge and Liu FuLing...

I wonder if Meng Jue really liked Yun Ge or was it because she held the power of the Liu Xing group. I felt his feelings for her but he was also pursuing his goals which is to be the leader of Liu Xing Group. Now that I think about it, he proposed to her in the beginning because he wanted to bring her back to inherit the leadership of the Liu Xing Group. Or was it because of their childhood? It's a bit iffy. I can see why Yun Ge felt hurt and why she left him. I think she should have spoken to him first and get her answer from him. But this is the drama, so of course they are going to make it complicated. Definitely, I can see that Meng Jue is a very ambitious guy and scary that he can charm a woman just to use her to achieve his goals. Sigh --__--... Also I didn't understand why Meng Jue lied to Yun Ge that his god father knew her mother. I realized after Yun Ge spoke with Mr. Lu, he told her that Meng Jue is an ambitious guy who grew to want control over the Liu Xing group and he would do anything to achieve that goal. All the pieces then came together.

  5. @bubblyb00 Agreed... Wallace Huo and Zhao Li Ying will be forever BZH and HQG. I can't image FSF and the other guys as BZH. Wallace is my ideal BZH. :)

@angel318 You are so right. SMH BZH didn't feel, he started to only see. I get the feeling that when it came to love, BZH becomes blind and human again.

@tlt I was re-watching most of it as it aired again, it was so nice watching it. Did you enjoy it again?

  6. Yea I'm watching it right now, and nothing is new. It's exactly like the first version they aired. -__- I was so excited to see if this was a version that wasn't cut. Why won't they air or have the original version?

I'm using the TV Plus 2.0 on my android app. Hunan TV is on channel 26. On Hunan website, it said it will be airing 4 episode each day on here: http://hunantv.tvsou.com/

Anyone wants my collection of photos of JOF? Here is my link to my Photo Album

  7.

I have read a bit the novel for the Sound in The Cloud but was a bit too much dramatic than the first part. Too much political fight and dramatic and about about Yun Ge...

MY favorite character was Meng Jue...who is Du Chun (love him since ''Rent a Girlfriend Home For New Year'' and Terracotta serie)

Who is the guy who Yun Ge was really in love....My answer still the same...Meng Jue hm. I know he is a antihero, use her for his political reason, hurt her so much...but he was really in love with her. Yes another tearing serie...shoud I start to watch another tearing serie after My Hua Qian Gu? hm let's see

I will said that I don't like Angelababy ^^;; sorry all Angelababy fans, I just tell you my true feeling, please try to accept it. She seem a barbie doll to me, too much surgery make her seem irreal. BUT that is only my comment. For her acting, I will see it :) because as I can see, she have done well the serie. Maybe her face was too much modern and she was TOO much beautiful hm.

@miaka_fy I totally agree with you about Angelababy. She is pretty but it's too modern and her acting doesn't seem that good. Yes I was hoping that the person she love most is ... Even I would like him a lot too. But he is a heartbreaker. SIGH.

    From ladyofshalott

At the end of book 2 Ling gege dies from poisoning, leaving Yun Ge pregnant with his child. In book 3 Yun Ge marries Meng Jue, but then finds out Meng Jue and Huo Chen Jun give her some medicine that aborted her baby. Even though this was to save her life on Meng Jue's part, it just made her feel more hopeless. She tried to exact revenge on those who she thought took Ling gege and her unborn child from her. But at the end Yun Ge realizes she herself unknowing play a part in the poisoning of Ling gege due to her naivete and leaves Chang An, decided to live the rest of her life just holding onto her memories with Ling Gege. Meanwhile Meng Jue dies by the order of the new emperor, Liu Xun. Anyway none of the major characters ended up happy.

  8. So far, Lu Yi and Angelababy rarely have any scenes together. But I really like Du Chun. I didn't think I would like him as much, but so far I like him in this drama. His character is someone very attractive but I did read some spoiler about him, and sigh... -_-... but So far I like Du Chun's role.

Angelababy is very pretty. I admire her looks but her acting and the voice dubbing doesn't seem to match her. She acts like a young upbeat girl but her dubbing voice sounds more like a lady who is more calmer and sweet. For example, when she is speaking/the dubber is speaking, the voice is calm and sweet, while Angelababy is moving her head and and bouncing around, which kind of throws me off a bit because I'm not sure if the scene is suppose to be upbeat or a calmer scene. I think it would be better if they kept her voice or at least give her a more upbeat voice that is more similar to her personality of the drama or maybe it's her acting since this is one of her first TV drama as a female lead.

I like how Du Chun is bold and when he kissed Angelababy, I was blushing myself.

  9. @tlt @BaiZiHua I agree that Catfish is unconsciously in love with BZH. It's funny how we have a lot of unconscious love in this drama. Shan Chuan Qiu (SCQ) is in love with SQM... And Catfish is in love with BZH. -- _ -- What happen here? SMH. They are quite possessive of these handsome men. I want to be as equally possessive too. They can be possessive toward me too. Hehehe. :)

So who here likes SQM? Do you like his personality? For some reason I'm attracted to his personality, where he is over powering, tough, demanding and etc. It's a bit weird, but I think it's kind of sexy.

HQG part II is so far ok. It's interesting but you can tell no one is dubbed in this version, so all the voices throws me off. I'm expecting more powerful voices for each character, but because it's no longer dubbed, there isn't as much emotions in their voices. It's so weird hearing their real voices. SQM and SCQ looks hot in modern time. Well, lets hope the story is interesting in this new version.

  10. Actually I watch one of Frida's interview about JOF and she is a very sweet lady. She is just really good at protraying Ni Man Tian, but she is really sweet. I know that a lot of us don't like NMT but if you remove the image of NMT from her, she is very likable. Give her a chance. And don't worry about Wally liking NMT, because most importantly as long as he is happy and he is OURS on TV. lol.

And I think Shan Chun Qiu is super handsome and sexy. I wish he was obsessed with me as how obsessed he was with SQM.

  11. I understand both HQG and BZH perspective. I've dated a guy who is similar like BZH and I feel like HQG too. Either way it's unfortunate. I understand how HQG can feel and lash out at BZH, cursing him forever to live long. Yet at the same time BZH also gave up a lot for her. He took in all the punishments and helped her secretly although he is the Leader of Chang Liu. He isn't just only Bai Zi Hua, teacher of HQG, but he is also the Leader of Chang Liu (his goal in life was to be an immortal). He has to balance between his love for her and for the world. In some ways, yes he chose the world over HQG but in some ways, he also had chosen HQG over the world too. There were many times he could have killed her but he decided to choose her instead. Sigh -__- this is just an unfortunate fate for them both. I feel them... I once felt like HQG, and now that I've distance myself away from the guy who is like BZH, I realized the difficulties he had to face too. Either way, it wasn't meant to be because neither one was willing to give up (meaning BZH give up and admit he loves HQG, or HQG let BZH go). The only ending is HQG dying to let BZH realize he loves her or the vicious cycle just continues. Sometimes I still feel like lashing at guys like BZH, but sigh what will happen after I lash out... Nothing... Nothing... He won't change... His mission is more important...

But I love this drama still. It's so cute and beautiful. The scenes are beautiful. The actress and actors are outstanding. Beautiful combination.

  12. I think HXY is sadder than HQG. HQG is a love story with each person had different personality (aka BZH compare to HQG), they sacrifice their love or the world and they have misunderstanding...

HXY is beautiful in it's own way. The two main character really love each other and try their hardest to be with each other. The mini stories in between were beautiful too. I loved how Song Ning and Shen An's story was so sad. I think that one was the saddest for me. It's sad for Song Ning and in some ways, I'm glad she was happy in her dream. At first Jin Que/Yin Ge's story was my favorite. I love how Yin Ge was an assassin and then she learned what it really means to love and be loved by the King (Bao Jian Feng). I love that story. It's just sad at the end for them. The last story between Mu Rong An (MRA) and Su Heng (SH) was quite beautiful too. I love how magical that story was and how beautiful MRA looked. She really capture my attention at how beautiful she was. I always loved Qiao Zhen Yu and when he played Su Heng, he did a great job. He played a man who was ambitious and yet loving to MRA. It was a struggle for him to balance love and power but eventually he had to lose one. HXY was really sad throughout but it had many good stories. ^^ I wasn't a big fan of the two main characters (Kevin Cheng and Lin Yuan), they didn't capture my attention as much but they had a really good storyline too.

  13. 30. BZH finally realize that to hinder the fated calamity is not to kill, but to acknowledge love, in tune with love. In the end, by BZH accepting love, makes him pass the 10th level cultivation.

I think that cut scene is so true. Accepting and being in tune with love is the key to overcoming the calamity. Every time when they tried to kill their calamity, they all end up going crazy and yearning for the person they killed. Why not just embrace them and love them. In truth, their calamity was a challenge for them to overcome to pass the 10th level cultivations. ^^

Thanks @jolin_chan. I loved all the translations of all the missing scene. I can only dream of them now.

  14. Spotify is awesome. It's amazing they have Hua Qian Gu's OST on the app. The music is beautiful. I was worried about buying the OST on Yesasia, but i realize how beautiful it was and I loved it. I hope everyone can have a chance to check out the music on Spotify. Loved it!

Listening to the music, it made me realized, I'm not satisfied with the ending. WHY? Why?

  15. The ending was happy and a bit sad. It's not good that they cut the scene, but the ending where HQG dies while cursing BZH was beautifully done. I agree that in some ways they made it look like HQG was petty and selfish when she cursed him.

HQG: "You still won't admit that you love me... Since you don't even love me, you have no rights to die with me... Bai Zi Hua, in the name of the god (me), I curse you... From today until forever, you will never get old or die. You will never get hurt or be destroyed."

That was such a beautiful line. I loved it. It showed her anger and wrath yet her intention is love too. She loves him wanting him to stay alive and protect the world that he loves so much to protect (That is what I think she actually meant). Yet she was cruel and harsh. I think it was a mix of emotions of love and anger.

Anyways, I hope they release the scenes that were cut out. I would still like to see and drool over HQG harassing BZH and kissing him. I loved it when she grabbed onto BZH face when he was being tied up. Everything was done beautifully. Her anger and her voice was beautiful.
