  1. Did Lee Hwashin make a cameo in Two Cops??? @mundaliv where are you? :D

@karen527 Don't feel pressure chingu, things in real life drag us away... (and sometimes I find myself too busy reading posts about JJS/Two Cops on IG, Twitter, fb and dramabeans...) As long as we're still here it's fine :D

I had goosebumps watching the last scene of Ep 8. JJS's transition from Dong Tak to Su Chang was SO SMOOTH, can not say that enough.

DongAn or SooAn?  Who will Ji An be romancing with, DongTak or SooChang? This is Oh My Ghost all over again

I also had this thought after watching ep 3,4, when SooChang/pocessed DongTak felt head over heal for Ji An and wanted her to stay close to him lol

This drama is so good, it has fast pace but is a light drama, super hilarious with JJS's flawless comical acting, I believe the ratings will pick up next week since Witch's court and TLIOF has ended!

Ryu Jun Yeol And Gong Hyo Jin Confirmed For Upcoming Movie + Jo Jung Suk In Talks

Ryu Jun Yeol and Gong Hyo Jin are confirmed to star in the upcoming movie “Hit-and-Run Unit” (literal title). Jo Jung Suk is reported to be still considering a casting offer.

The production staff of “Hit-and-Run Unit” revealed on November 27, “Ryu Jun Yeol and Gong Hyo Jin have been confirmed to join. Jo Jung Suk is yet to be confirmed. There wasn’t enough time for him to go through the script due to his drama schedules. As a result, he’s examining the offer now.”

“Hit-and-Run Unit” refers to a department of the police that investigates hit-and-run cases exclusively. The movie, directed by director Han Jun Hee of “Coin Locker Girl,” tells the story of the various detectives in the unit.

The movie is set to begin its production during the first half of next year.

  4. Cast And Crew of “Two Cops” Praise Jo Jung Suk For His Leadership And Dependability On Set

“Two Cops” will be a drama that has elements of fantasy, comedy, action, and romance as it follows the story of a detective who shares his body with the soul of a con artist as he sets out on investigations with a female reporter. Jo Jung Suk has the difficult task of acting out two different characters fighting over one body, while also balancing four different genres together.

However, screenwriter Byun Sang Soon showed complete faith that the actor will pull off the role perfectly as she stated, “Jo Jung Suk has the difficult task of playing two characters, but he’s such an amazing actor – one of the top actors in this country, really – that he was someone I actually had in mind to play the part while drafting the script.”

Director Oh Hyun Jong also added that while balancing four different genres is not going to be easy, Jo Jung Suk has been excelling so far. He said, “Because it’s a difficult process to shoot our drama, I find myself relying on Jo Jung Suk quite a lot. I always think to myself that if it hadn’t been for him, we may not have been able to pull this off.”

Jo Jung Suk’s fellow cast members also expressed their gratitude towards the star. Girl’s Day’s Hyeri, who will play reporter Song Ji Ahn, said, “I really enjoyed the script and when I met the director, I felt like I could trust him so that’s why I decided to appear in the drama. Most of all, I think having Jo Jung Suk next to me has made the process even more enjoyable and fun.” Im Se Mi added, “I’ve been a fan of Jo Jung Suk, so much that I’ve watched all of his previous dramas. He and Kim Sun Ho are so great that just being on set is a fun experience for me,” while Kim Sun Ho said, “I talk with Jo Jung Suk a lot. I ask him a lot of questions and I’m learning so much from him.”

“Two Cops” is the follow-up drama to “20th Century Boy and Girl” and will begin airing on November 27 at 11 p.m. KST.

“Two Cops” Shares Heartwarming Stills Of Jo Jung Suk With A Young Child

    A. Kim November 17, 2017

MBC’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “Two Cops” released heartwarming stills of detective Cha Dong Tak, played by actor Jo Jung Suk, interacting with a child off duty ahead of its first broadcast on November 27.

Cha Dong Tak is a violent crimes detective with visuals that would make anyone look back, but is also a workaholic who isn’t interested in his own appearance, and cares solely about catching bad guys.

However, the released photos show a different side of Dong Tak, who is usually busy catching criminals. Dong Tak can be seen kneeling to meet the eyes of a young boy. Dong Tak looks at the child with an affectionate gaze, which is markedly different from how he usually treats others.

It was revealed Jo Jung Suk approached the child actor first during filming for the scene, and put forth his best effort with jokes and other mischievous acts to make the child actor feel more comfortable. The child actor warmed up to Jo Jung Suk immediately and the two were able to show great chemistry during filming.

Jo Jung Suk was also applauded as a dependable lead actor that leads the atmosphere on set, and earned praise from the drama’s crew as having a “good looking personality.” The crew shared that in addition to his outstanding acting skills, Jo Jung Suk shows considerable concern for his co-stars and staff, raising expectations for “Two Cops.”

Meanwhile, “Two Cops” is highly anticipated as Jo Jung Suk’s first attempt at playing dual roles, and is a fantasy investigation drama that follows the story of violent crimes detective Cha Dong Tak and feisty local reporter Song Ji An. It will air its first episode on Monday November 27 at 10 p.m. KST.
