    Work has been kicking my butt for the past week. I didn't have time to catch up on the thread and every time I had a moment, thirty more pages would appear. I'm still over 100 pages behind in catching up... I didn't even get to fully watch ep 7 with subs yet either! Huhuhu. T_T Much less work on my overdue reviews...

    Anyone want to give me a quick update? What was the ep 7 part 2 special on Wednesday? How was the episode today? What's going on?! I saw some AWESOME still cuts of our So2 and I'm so eager to catch up. If only work could give me a break! (I also saw the re-aired episode 7 got a better rating! ^^)

    Hahahaha I'm quite a good observer thus I know almost all people here and also know who seems to be missing out from the discussion XD 

    Anyway, Episode 7 part 2 is mostly a recap from episode 1-7 as well as some history background since they might have targeted k-viewers who were on their Chuseok holiday last weekend.

    As in tonight's episode, as you could see from the screencaps, we've got new look from So thanks to the 'concealer' Soo put on his face. and the the-almost-kiss proximity between our OTP. what else? Oh! Rain was finally pouring down from sky and Soo's suddenly got a vision that he's Gwangjong. hah! and the most anticipated one is the preview: the KISS!

    It's interesting that one line from So in the preview could make this thread hyperventilating and squealing XD 

    the literal translation from my pov is he asks the King that he wants to take Soo. is the meaning of take her is marrying her? or maybe he wants him to be one of his people in his own palace? Just some thoughts after I was thinking hard of what other possibilities for that line to be executed tomorrow haha 

    Glad that we dont need to wait for A WEEK for what's to come tomorrow! :D 

    Guess this thread is gonna explode once all of us already watch the subbed version. lots of things happen in episode 8 and I foresee we're going to have another long and fun discussion on almost every character here haha

    I would say I agree with @solelylurking that the scene where Soo was suddenly having a vision that So is most likely King Gwangjong whom she remembers that will kill his own brothers to be a King is totally out of nowhere. It's just out of the blue without any previous vision or premonition or any action that precede or trigger that vision/premonition. 

     

    I guess, myself needs some evidence that she feels connected with what's going on at the palace and that will serve a purpose for her existence as time traveler to Goryeo. Well, this drama still got lots of things to convince me that Soo was there for a purpose and her visions about So aren't just a mere coincidence :)

    Damn! there are some edited scenes in S One channel that I didnt see while watching it previously! Another long night to catch up SBS version! 

     

    BUT! WHAT A PREVIEW GUYSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! Now I'm worried so much for SoSoo couple!!!! I dont even know what I'm worried about hahaha I just feel so anxious and uneasy with So-Soo loveline trajectory hahahaha 

     

    BUT WHAT AN AWESOME EPISODE!!! 

     

    ps: @LyraYoo I guess you're right. we're going to have another CF parody with BB Cream or concealer! :grimace:

    I havent backtracked the last 5 pages so hopefully this text preview hasn't yet been posted :D

    황자들과 가까이 지낸다는 이유로 궁녀들에게 미움을 받는 해수. 오상궁은 해수에게 황자들을 멀리하라고 경고한다. 한편, 기우제 제주로 백성들 앞에 모습을 드러낸 왕소. 백성들은 제주가 왕소라는 사실에 불만을 나타내고, 이를 지켜본 해수는 왕소를 돕기로 결심하는데...

    Because Haesoo's getting along closer with the princes, maids in palace start to dislike her. Lady Oh warns Haesoo to stay away from the princes. Meanwhile, during 기우제 제주 (the rain pleading ritual(?) or sacrifice ritual(?)) Wangso's got exposed in front of people. Knowing that Wangso is the one that will do the ritual on behalf Emperor (I get this from a news article I posted) then people show their discontent. Seeing what happen to Wangso, Haesoo decides to help him.

    checking in DC and I found this screencap from the long trailer I guess. 

    Are we seeing CP still alive while Yo is kinda being apprehended for some unlawful actions? 

    Therefore, are we seeing an early battle between the princes? Or another fight like we had seen with the previous blessing ritual in the upcoming episodes? or another attempt to kill CP?

    Hahahahaha @xiao_baiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii *high5* Oh well, it's unavoidable since we volunteer ourselves to be this dedicated and slightly obsessive possessive with this drama (hold on, are we becoming more like WS now? XD) 

    Agree with you @hiluna that the music arrangement kind of diverting the pleasant watch into annoying experience for those who've got really on nerves with awful song choice. SBS re-edited version is way much BETTER, I'm quite disappointed with how SBS and production team handle this whole thing. But on the positive note, we're able to see more edited/omitted scenes that aired in Youku, S One/Dramafever, and SBS version though kind of makes us working hard twice and thrice to keep up with the episodes hahaha 

    Now that you make a countdown @skxz it feels like it's getting nearer, MONDAY! :D

    It's okay being delusional @whyo as that's what keep us sane for Monday to come! XD

    HAHAHAHA @xiao_baiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii exactly. I was wondering why they use that particular picture as the OST cover as we cant see if there will be any sweet moments between So and Soo in near future considering the game of thrones should be in full gear next episodes onward :D 

    But hey, maybe they still can share some lovely moments in between all the scheming and bloodshed though I'm quite looking fwd how all of these is going to unfold. 

    Okay, seems like we're getting more helpless as we're getting closer to episode 8 & 9 as imagination runs wilder than before :blush:

    I can foresee we can jump into 500 pages by Monday or Tuesday if we're moving with this pace :D 

    Anyway, did anyone knows about this OST cover before? I'm quite surprised as I hadnt seen it before. 

    They've got lots of interesting OST covers and I wonder if there's some narrative purpose on the picture :blush:

Because it was separate between the age group so i think there must have some meaning to it. 

    I guess there are posts in previous pages that explaining about this. younger princes have their hair down because they're still single while Yo, Wook, CP are married that's why they have tiny bun hairstyle :)

    I love LJK actually he's one of the reasons i started this drama but I can't believe WW's the bad guy I'm not ready this is too much guys!

    Well, I wont call Wook as the bad guy here in the drama set up as characters here have their own motivation and goals therefore it will be hard to separate them as good or bad guys :)

    So according to this article, Haesoo will get caught by Queen Yoo as she's treating CP and his sickness and she will get scolded by Lady Oh and will make her about the frightening life at palace. Then it also stated that Queen Yoo will try to get rid CP (again?) and Queen Yoo will keep eye to Haesoo. I hope I dont make wrong interpretations with my limited korean haha

    I haven't backtracked the last 20 or so pages thus I'm not quite aware with the discussion over Wook and all. I hope we all can keep the discussion here as neutral and accommodating as we've always been doing for the past few weeks.

    Thus I also hope people won't get that upset and frustrated enough with others' comments and replies as we all know we're only trying to convey our thoughts and assumptions and predictions here. There's no right or wrong in giving opinions here :) 

    Meanwhile, as we're getting closer to Monday, I hope for more fun and exciting discussions over the spoilers pictures or anything you can come up with! I'm digging SHR DC rn and I'm happy to say that K-side are also so excited with the spoiler pics!!!! :blush:
