What happened in 1993? Those that were born in this year are 'it' this year. We are talking about Park Bo-geom, Seo Kang-joon and Do Kyeong-soo.
Park Bo-geom MCs for the KBS 2TV show "Music Bank" every Friday. He looks like the next Jo In-Seong and is as talented. Usually, standing MC for "Music Bank" is the gateway to becoming a star but seeing that he is, he must be popular.
Park Bo-geom debuted in 2011 with the movie "Blind" and starred in the movie "The Admiral: Roaring Currents" last year. I accidentally found those article when I searched about Bogum and Irene as Mubank MC on twitter..apparently there are 2 article about them and 1 old article about Bogum..so glad that knetz also love Bogum as an actor and Bogum as a MC with Irene..and also thank you for those gifs..I already watched a video CF (which already was posted by @maiwun)..there is also another Bogum's CF..he acted with IU in this CF..even thought he's more like a supporting character (because I think the main star of this CF is IU)..here's the video (I hope I don't repost)they are so cute

hahahah..LOL..so Bogum finally has met with EXO and young version of his uncle (D.O.)
and wow..he even trended no 1 in real search time ranking because he finally met EXO and the joke thou..hahaha..so LJY kidnapped Min and he grow-up as Music Bank MC..LOL about Bogum and Irene mistake..oh yeah..I remember I read an article on Netizenbuzz about Irene mistake..knetz said how could she doesn't know the tittle of EXO song (Love Me Right)..but when I watched the video..I think she just mispelled when mentioned the tittle of song..at that time Bogum was still out of my radar so I didn't pay attention to him..and that article also only focus to Irene..

about variety show and/or interview..haha..actually I know other young actor who also always shy everytime he was interviewed and/or appear on variety show..he even didn't look at camera directly..if you watched drama Angry Mom..you must know Jisoo..AM is his debut drama..he really nervous everytime he was interviewed..so I don't really shock if Bogum also like that..I think maybe Bogum (and other young actor) were trained for acting not for appear on variety show like Idol always do..so they need a time to adjust with something like interview and/or variety show..just my opinion

Talks about interview, is there any Bogum's post drama interview after he acted in IRY? I really want to know his thought about IRY, his character Min etc.. But I think he's busy with Reply 1988 now??
Post drama interview is one of interesting part if I love watching certain drama because from that interview I can know more about the drama, the actor/actress, his/her character, BTS, his/her thought about other cast and/or PD/crew, etc..

TENASIA: Do you live with your family right now?
PBG: We live together. I have an older brother and an older sister, and there’s quite a big age gap between us, so since I’m the youngest in the family I was able to receive a lot of love while growing up. Thanks to my family, I’ve realized and come to know the things that are important to living in this world.
TENASIA: Specifically what kind of things?
PBG: My father told me to “Always live truthfully”. And he also told me that “You have to live while staying truthful to your original intention”. “You have to go with what you first believed in, in order to have no regrets.” He also told me that “Even if you fail while living like that, it will all just be an experience, and if you succeed then it’ll be a memory.” Recently whilst in the midst of filming for ‘Cantabile’, I had a bit of time, so I watched ‘Interstellar’. The movie made me think again about how I should live thankfully everyday and be good to my family. The scene in the movie where Cooper is watching the messages sent by his family while in space was so sad…. that I thought “That’s right, I should be good to my parents while they’re here”. Our family motto is “Think of today as the last and let’s do our best”, so I try my best not to forget that, and always live with it deeply embedded in my heart.
TENASIA: It seems like you’re taking a step upwards after getting the basics down pat with every production. I would think that this kind of process could be really tiring if you had the tendency to want to obtain big results in one go. Are you the kind with a lot of patience?
PBG: I think I’m patient. To me, the foundation has to be firm and sturdy in order to be able to grow more - because if the foundation work isn’t sturdy, then it can lead to the construction being faulty. At church, my parents, and even my company tells me that “whatever it may be, if you try to grasp everything in your hands at once, it will all slip out”. Thankfully, everyone at my company look over me in a manner so that I’m able to take one step at a time. Obviously it would be nice to appear as the leading main character in a big production, but if I’m unable to handle that, then I would be disappointing all the people who had their hopes up in me. That’s why I don’t think of any of the roles that I’ve played up until now as ‘small’ roles. At the time, to me, they were all big roles. I’m thankful to the directors, and script writers that cast me, and entrusted me with the roles. Looking back, I was able to grow, little by little, through each production.

about his family..so a rumor about he and Park Bo Young are siblings are hoax?? I read on asianwiki and dramabeans, someone said and ask about this..first time I read about that, I thought..what?? they are siblings?? but why I never read a news about that or at least mentioned on Bogum and/or Boyoung article? I also checked his page on Naver and there is no info about that..Javabeans also answer that it's not true but she added "if that true, it means a super secret.." something like that..haha
on his interview with showbiz korea, MC asked him actor/actress who he really want to act together..and he said Jang Yoo Nam (if I'm not mistaken) and MC said oh..Park Bo Young's mother in movie Werewolf Boy..and he said yes..if that info is true..MC surely will tease Bogum about Park Bo Young but they didn't do that..so I thought where this rumour come from..is this because they have similar name?? haha..honestly I was thinking that they also have similarity on some of their facial pattern..
and my thought that he's the youngest child or at least he has an older siblings in his family is true..haha..I don't know..in my culture..it easy to differentiate someone who is oldest child or youngest child (or has an older siblings) in family..from my observation from his interview, videos, and BTS..it's obvious that he's the youngest child

anyways, i've found out that bogummy was nicknamed as shim/heart stealer, which i find amusing because SIG's fans are called heart riders. after watching an interview of him (which was quite old, like dec 25, 2014 old) i was more convinced that he's really religious/nice guy. i mean, during the interview the hosts themselves commented at it, they said they wanted to be mischievous in questioning/interviewing him but he's so honest so they can't. and they keep saying that he is so polite.
@ilchul here you go. he was so polite and you can see how humble he is. he even said that it was his first talk show ever so i'm really proud of him. such well mannered guy... this is 2014 so it was before IRY, he said that he's been practicing how to show acting with his eyes and without needing a dialogue and after watching IRY, i'd say his practices were successful, those Min stared on IRY were proof of his practice.

First time when that interview just released last Dec, I accidentally watched it because I want watched 5 best Korean dramas in 2014 based on polling by Showbiz Korea..at that time, I thought that oh..this kid from Wonderful Days and Cantabile Tomorrow..but I didn’t pay much attention to his answer..
After watched him in IRY, I watched that interview again and just realized that he is nicknamed as "shim(heart) stealer". Wow..so he's indeed a heart stealer
..everytime I read comments on IRY thread and/or Dramabeans recaps, everyone who praises his acting said that Bogum has steal their heart (including me..haha)and yes, I think it's obvious that Bogum is a religious person, if you see his twitter, it really obvious..

yeah..I think Bogum said about goodbye stage (last stage) from A-pink (or other group) and he's acting sad..and I think I also have watched other their MC-ing cut and everytime there is an artist (solo/or group) will perform a goodbye stage, he will acting sad..haha..Because Bogum, this is the first time I pay attention to Music Bank MC..usually I only watched a video cut of solo or group idol who I want watch..so I don't know if previous MC also like this or not..I mean the way MC hosting a show..

I read that it was previously hosted by Park Seo Joon (as the male MC) but didn't see cuts from that season though yes, If I'm not mistaken..haha..
I also love everytime they presented a solo/group who will perform, they will acting based on the title of song..
I think I shouldn't watch their MC-cut video in public place because everytime I watched those videos I will smiling, giggling, laughing because they are so freaking cute!!
I have been knowing about Music Bank from few years ago..even though I more into kdrama and not really into kpop..but because of Dream High..I become an IU fan..so everytime she's comeback I will watch her perform on Music Shows, one of many Music shows is Music Bank..before Bogum I only know Park Seo Joon who was MC-ing this show (this info because KMHM

yeah..I think Bogum said about goodbye stage (last stage) from A-pink (or other group) and he's acting sad..and I think I also have watched other their MC-ing cut and everytime there is an artist (solo/or group) will perform a goodbye stage, he will acting sad..haha..Because Bogum, this is the first time I pay attention to Music Bank MC..usually I only watched a video cut of solo or group idol who I want watch..so I don't know if previous MC also like this or not..I mean the way MC hosting a show..

even Bogum miss the show. He's undergoing kdrama withdrawal too hahaha... but i kinda believe that he never dated since debut though, that's why i'm doubtful that even if they look good together (he and irene) and even though i'm sure he really find irene really really beautiful, and even though i see him sneaking a peak at irene at the end of a MuBank episode

I was happy to be receiving so many notifications from the Bugummy house over the last week. Some of you guys mentioned his role in HM calling it creepy. You got me curious enough to watch the drama. I have it on me. As I have been planning to marathon it soon as it's over. Was waiting for the mood to start a new drama. Thought I just drop by, say hello to everyone with a bugummy smile before I do. It won't take me more than a week to finish it XD If he can pass as a creepy murder suspect or what not, I'll be forever in owe to his acting skills as I currently am to his smiley face. He can pass as a happy young brother with a bright future like in BM, a handsome conductor in pain/with a crush like in NC but a creepy character?! I have got to see that.

Park Bo Gum just landed his first leading drama role in the latest installment of the "Reply" series, titled "Reply 1988." The third story in this nostalgic trilogy is set in 1988 and will focus on a family and the neighborhood they live in.
Who is Park Bo Gum and what should you know about him?
1. His last two films were hits. In the 2015 film "Coin Locker Girl" Park Bo Gum plays the cheerful, upbeat character Suk Hyun. "Coin Locker Girl" was screened at the Cannes Film Festival, and achieved better-than-expected results at the box office. "The Admiral: Roaring Currents," the film Park appeared in before that, was also a critical and box office hit.
2. Park's star has risen fast. It has only been four years since the actor made his debut in the film "Blind," playing Kim Ha Neul's younger brother. His next role was playing Min Gyu in the drama "Bridal Mask," starring Joo Won. He also won praise for playing the young Lee Seo Jin in the weekend drama "Wonderful Days."
3. The 21-year-old actor is now a "Music Bank" emcee. Park was chosen not just because he can act, said the show's producers, but also because he is very enthusiastic about variety shows and music. He and Irene from Red Velvet will replace Bora and Park Seo Joon as emcees. He felt nervous about taking on the responsibility but also thought it seemed fated as his starting day was the same as his birthday.
"It really looks as if I was destined to appear on the program," he said.
4. Park Bo Gum and actor Lee Hyun Woo resemble each other.
"Many friends told me that they saw me in the movie 'Blind.' I thought that was strange, because I did not participate in the film, so I watched it," said Lee Hyun Woo in an interview with Star News. "Then, I found out that my friends thought Park Bo Gum was me."
Lee Hyun Woo is not too concerned about the resemblance and wishes Park Bo Gum well. The resemblance has even resulted in the two actors growing closer.
5. Park Bo Gum met Joo Won again when he played the second lead in the classical music drama "Tomorrrow Cantabile." His cello-playing conductor character had a sad story and in the end lost the girl, played by Shin Eun Kyung, to Joo Won.

I keep replaying that video and I save a MP3 version so I can listen everytime and I downloaded an original vers by D.ear but I pretended that Bogum who sing (btw the original vers also as good as Bogum vers. I want D.ear featuring with Bogum in their next album)..haha..and why it just a teaser and we only can hear his singing in mere seconds?? I want a full version!! please Blossom Ent. In the video, he plays the piano and sings along. The song and video was known as the teaser video of new singer d.ear’s mini album title song ‘Forget You’.
Even before the singer releases his own song, he decided to let people know his song through Park Bo Gum’s voice. When Park Bo Gum filmed the teaser, he surprised the staff when he played the song right after he listened to the song.
Park Bo Gum showed his cello skills through KBS drama ‘Tomorrow Cantabile’ as well as his piano skills in ‘2014 KBS Drama Awards’.
