Someone had previously mentioned that each shipper might view every BoYoo moments/situation in a very different manner due to our different backgrounds, upbringing, culture etc. I agree 100%. I personally have never been a supporter of the whole propaganda that YJ is too young to date. I met my husband when I was 18, and we were married the very next year, and we've been happily married for the pass 17 yrs. Of course, I know I can't compare myself to YJ because she's a celebrity and is under the scrutiny of the SK public. But if she wasn't a celebrity, would everyone look at her with judgemental eyes if she was seen dating outside of school like some of her peers were doing now? I doubt so. So why is she different from any other 17+yr old in SK just because she's a celebrity? As a mother of 2 teenage sons, I emphathize her situation.

After watching 150 days MDBC BTS special edition, I was at awe that preparation of the drama started 3 years ago. In 2013, YJ was only 14yrs old? Although she has had many acting experience by then, I don't think she imagined herself being casted as a main lead in a romantic drama 3 years later. As for BG, not only was he struggling with family issues, not many knew who Park Bo Gum was then. He too I'm sure would not have dreamt that a major TV drama production like MDBC to offer him a leading role in 2016. But little did BG & YJ know in 2013 that a miraculous and invincible thread called FATE had already tied the both of them together.

Setting aside the talk about the immense chemistry in which we all agree between these two, we heard both BG & YJ mention in their interviews about how they felt connected and how they could understand each other just by looking into each others eyes. This connection & feeling that they've experienced can only be possible between soulmates. Soulmates does not necessarily be in a romantic context. Your soulmate could be your best friend, a co-worker, or even a relative (e.g. a cousin). But how many soulmates are we able to meet in one lifetime? If you're lucky, maybe one. If your SUPER lucky, maybe two? But many if not most would not even have the opportunity to meet a soulmate in their entire lifetime. I may not be very old, but I have definitely passed my youth. I am sure many matured adults here in our thread would agree with me that the most beautiful phase in ones life is your YOUTH. To have the opportunity to meet your soulmate in the most beautiful phase of your life is indeed a true blessing to begin with. Even if they do not end up together in a relationship. 

I profess that I have a soft spot for BG in comparison to YJ. Not because he's good looking and all, but because the first time I saw BG was in his interview in Youth Over Flowers Africa where he broke down talking about his mother's passing, I cried buckets. I cried buckets because I can relate to that. Having experienced loss of a parent at a very young age myself, I understood exactly how he felt. I understood how the pain and loss stays with us for the rest of our lives. That a slight thought of them would cause us to break down as if it just happened yesterday. I understood that in the years to come, for every new chapter in BG's life and for every triumph, he would be wishing that his Mum would be here to witness it all. Just like how I wished my Dad could have given me away on my wedding day and how i wish he could cuddle my 2 sons in his arms when they were babies. I understood how our strong faith in our religion is the only consolation and hope that we will be able to meet the parents whom we've lost once again in heaven.

There is certainly a gap in BG's heart, and it's a huge gap to fill. As much as I hope our beautiful, charming and matured YJ could fill this gap, I wholeheartedly pray that whoever eventually fills this gap, is one whom would be able to shower him with all the love that he lacked and deserves.

I am tearing up watching the video n listening to your sharings. It touches a note deep inside as I also lost my mum early and even now it is hard to speak about it. There are so many things you wish you could share ... simple things like eating nice food, doing things they like with them... and times you have to wander alone when you  face unknowns like the birth of my first child ; when you wish they could have been there.

Am glad you shared the video... have wanted to do so for a while but couldnt find a right context...will be great if veteren pbg n kyj fans can share more insights with us on this thread too , because some of us  are newbies , we can sense the something special in them that makes us cheer them .

YJ's instagram "  Do not be an octopus ( translated roughly meaning  : Even if you fall, do not give up. You can get up agin) and the above quote from the movie highlight once again how similar BG n YJ's life philosophy are. I understand a bit more  how they were able to draw strength from  each other through the 6 months of filming thru extreme weather conditions and phyically exhausting schedules. These memories become part of one's  person that only the other can truely understand.Thus the proud smiles n glistening tears at the AAA were indeed heartfelt n special .Irregardless of how the future unfolds , they will always have a special part in their hearts and memories for each other.

Curious about the movie, I googled and discovered a world of inspiring quotes.... BG must have been deeply moved by the movie... just sharing some here... wondering which was behind his initial twitter posting...

Thank you all for all the posts n updates n videos ...was so exciting watching it with yous... so happy and full of Raon now.

As per meme above, BG has super passed our tests to " gaze only at one woman" and treat her as "the most precious lady". He is indeed so charismatic n namja (almost like a modern day Lee Yeong) when around her. Love the fan cam vids of how he cares for details like getting her a drink and mentioning her...and of course getting a bit panicky when he thinks he has lost his 'puppy' (rather like CP n Raon) . So transparent and touching despite all the attempts to stay cool to avoid attention.

And the tears glistening in YJ's eyes when BG mentioned her were so touching n beautiful .She had mentioned that she had felt like running away when they first started filming bec it was so difficult... and how they came to depend on each other and find strength in each other. Memories forged by shared  experiences (especially challenging ones) will keep people close  as they are special and become part if the person.

YJ, even when difficulties come, do not let go of his hand yah, promise? 

This one's a keeper.

Hi... this is kind of extreme delusionary ... but has anyone else wondered why Yoo Jung  choose her most memorable scene as the one in ep 11 where Lee Yeong said that Raon would be the first person in his new country?

I was a bit surprised as there are a thousand other swoon worthy and inspirational quotes and moments that I felt were even more memorable.

And I have always found that Yoo Jung's replies (despite her age) are very matured and thought provoking although they may initially seem rather random.

I was touched by PBG's response to critics who wanted a more " passionate " kiss.

He also said that if it had been more 'passionate', it would not have been so heart fluttering ; which is so true .

The actress revealed, “Truthfully, when I was filming [the kiss scene], I was more worried about the uniform I was wearing than the kiss itself,” and mentioned that it seemed more peculiar that two characters dressed in formal, male clothing with topknots would be kissing. She further elaborated that she wasn’t too concerned about the scene and filmed with a fresh mindset to match the characters’ ages.

Kim Yoo Jung also addressed another controversial scene where her character Hong Ra On is shown changing and wrapping her chest with bandages in order to hide her gender.

“While there was a worrying aspect of it, it was a necessary scene to show Hong Ra On’s emotional state. It received attention because it turned out well, and there are other people who thought of it from a different point of view,” the actress explained.

Meanwhile, the Korea Communications Standards Commission ruled that it will send an official recommendation to KBS following their review of these two particular, controversial scenes.

  Nora Sheffield  : She is so eloquent for her age. She is a person who see's things from a different point of view, and isn't soiled and sordid like those who think what she did as an actress was wrong. I have news for you people, less than a hundred years ago, girls aged thirteen were being married off to men who where 4 or more times older than them. Now THAT is disgusting. We have evolved as a society to a point where the age gap between Bo Gummy and Yoo Jung is totally acceptable. For the love of mother, there are 14 year old girls around the world having babies, and we're really worried about a "staged" act??? *FACEPALM*

  KYJ is such a smart cookie. She is incredibly focussed and knows how to convey her point of view firmly but also graciously .

  In the same light, i also don't think she is confused about her feelings about PBG .

  Whoever she chooses in the end is one lucky guy.

  That highlighted line: " You 're kissing PBG and you are worried about your outfit ! LOL"  cracked me up.

I think the magic of these two is that they make you believe and feel in love again just watching them being happy together;  be it in the show or in the BTS.

 

Kwakkie said in his interview that PBG is an extremely reserved person and  do you all  sense as I do, that underneath his genuinely kind and gracious persona, there is this  sensitive and melancholic side that is very private . Thus his wish that "at a corner of his heart, he hopes that fans  can respect his private life and there are things he doesn't wish to reveal". That really tugged at my heartstrings. And makes it ever more so special is that this amazing, beautiful 'human vitamin ' YJ managed to get so much under his skin that he is so crazily happy and giddy when with her!

So , even if in the future you are  faced with difficulties and have to make choices, do not let go of each other's hand...promise?
