I've found what Narae say about inviting a person.
The conversation was in episode 1 Gamsung Camping, when they were having breakfast.
There SSH made jokes but the women found his jokes were awkward.
They called him "Mr. Awkward" and considered him as "old man." When SSH joked that he wanted to go back to Seoul, they said they would let him go.

AYM to SSH: "What will you be in charge of ?"
SSH to AYM: "What do you mean ?"
AYM: "We have things we're in charge of. I'm in charge of excrement".
SSH: "Shouldn't I obviously be in charge of the looks"
All the women were silent and looked at each other.
SSH to Narae: "Aren't you going to laugh here?'
SSH Laughed
Narae: "I am never going to laugh. He is laughing at his own joke"
AYM to SSH : "Your face saved you"
Narae: "Be thankful to your face everyday"

So Narae jokingly said that SSH, as a guest, was a burden for them.
It seemed that the way he made jokes wasn't "one language" with them.
Poor SSH, he was just the object of a joke there, especially by AYM. Even when he cleared his nose, she commented on what he was doing.

It turned out that AYM and Narae's joking style was, I thought, a little sarcastic.
Meanwhile, PSD, Naeun and Solar are sweet girls, can maintain their attitude and sometimes seem uncomfortable hearing AYM and Narae's speaking style.

There, AYM again joked. This time Narae is the object of the joke, she said that Narae looks like the male cast in "Parasite", Park Myun Hoon after previously saying that Solar looks like Lim Ji-yeon, SSH co-star in "Obsessed".

In 1990, Kang Susie (Kang Su-ji) released her first album "Violet Fragrance".

At that time SSH was 14 years old (Junior High School).
When he was in middle school, he made bold confessions to his friends that he wanted to marry Kang Susie. It seems he's a huge fan of Kang Susie.

In 2018, MAMAMOO appeared on KBS World's Immortal Songs program singing the song "Violet Fragrance".
MAMAMOO members are Moonbyul, Solar, Wheein and Hwasa.

In 2020,
- SSH and SJH starred in DM and met for the first time in person.
- SSH as Gamsung Camping's guest star with Solar, MAMAMOO member as the host.
There he shared a story about Kang Susie and sang her song "Violet Fragrance".

SSH was wearing a white T-shirt with the number 2 (Violet Color) in the chest and left arm.
- SJH and Hwasa, a member of MAMAMOO, as guests of the program "I Live Alone" at the same time.
In the ILA program, we saw several Violet objects in SJH's house.
It's because one of her favorite colors is Violet.

So was this just coincidence or fate or was it planned?

I think BTS on Jeju Island is the start of their drama making.

If you see SSH ILA, where SSH invited his friends (Lee Si-eon, Tae Won-suk and Kim Seo-kyung) for dinner. There he told LSE and TWS that tomorrow they will have a drama shooting.

It was probably for the scene where KHK and WDH had their first dinner on Jeju Island, LSE and TWS as rice bowl sellers. So before SSH did for DM, he had done the making for ILA.

If their first shooting was on Jeju Island, and seeing BTS's latest video, from the start it seems that SSH has been paying special attention to SJH as his female lead.
It seems that the rehearsal of the WDH drunken scene, which SJH did several times, impressed him a lot.
SSH was surprised to find that SJH was very funny and attractive.
He didn't think that she could pull off that scene so well.
All of that was beyond SSH expectations, where previously he thought that SJH was only suitable for the cold and urban roles she had been playing so far.
Several times he said it, including last time on a Japanese TV interview "why she doesn't act such a bright and attractive role sooner?" . And it made SJH blush.

I haven't seen Gamsung Camping in full yet.
Only saw a few short videos of GC on the YouTube channel of MBC Entertainment without Subtitle and on fans's IG with sub.

It's very interesting if Park Narae told SSH "Should we invite someone here" ?. Did she smell something fishy?
Maybe those of you who have seen GC can rewatch the program and tell us here.

At Gamsung Camping SSH shared stories about his time in middle school when he told his schoolmates that he wanted to marry Kang Suzi, his idol. It turned out that he was Kang Suzi's fans, with her famous song "Violet Fragrance".

It seems that at the time SSH never thought that a few years later the song's lyrics match what he experienced.

The lyrics of the song describe the appearance of a person approaching him softly like a violet light. He could not forget her eyes filled with fragrance. (Shin Se-kyung once said at the promotion or press conference of Black Night drama that SJH is the smell of fragrance).

I think, the idea to choose the song "Violet Fragrance to be played on the GC program came from SSH itself. When the program concept required him to share a story about his past experiences, he remembered about a song by Kang Suzi. The song related to the color violet, beautiful eyes and fragrances. Because if that idea didn't come from him, who would know if he didn't say it.

Sorry I was late replying to your post. I have some work to do.
Let's get back to the point.

I've actually read those disappointing comments on two or three Insta OTPs and have also received questions from some of our dear shipper friends along with some of screenshots about OTP's disappointing comment via my DM IG.

The person said that the shipper had been tricked because they were just acting. SSH has a non-celebrity girlfriend.
Hmm ... What's my comment?

After knowing that someone has commented that we were all fooled by our OTP's acting, then how do we react?
(BTW who he is? and what his motive?)

First of all, I will ask to you all.
If you saw a drama or a film, what makes you feel that something has happened between the male lead and the female lead? You must answer honestly.

If your answers are clichés like (it's just) they fit together, they have great chemistry, they are beautiful and handsome couple and other things that when you watch them act, you feel "lulled" and think that they must have fallen in love with each other because their great chemistry.
That means you have misjudged because as actors they have been successful in portraying their characters.

Then where can we find out whether the male lead and the female lead are attracted to each other as a result of their chemistry?
The answer is not when they're acting, but in a situation where they become themselves.

We can see their behavior clearly when the male lead and the female lead interact with each other off camera.
Like when they present their new drama at the Press Conference, when they have an interview session, when they are practicing dialogue, when they are jokingly waiting for the shooting, and when they are in a situation where the action camera roll was off.

As SSH and SJH's shipper, we must have known that each of them (SSH & SJH) has been paired with other handsome actors and other beautiful actresses in their previous dramas.

- For Song Seung-heon such as with :
SSH & Shin Se-kyung, SSH & Go Ara, SSH & Lee Sun-bin, SSH & Krystal Jung, SSH & So Ji-hye etc.

- Whereas Seo Ji-hye such as with :
SJH & Go Kyung-pyo, SJH & Kim Rae-won, SJH & Go Soo, SJH & Hyun Woo-sung, SJH & Kim Jung-hyun, SJH & Song Seung-heon etc.(You can add if I forget to mention their other co-stars)

From the list of couples in the dramas that I mentioned above, have you ever become the shipper of one (even more) of the pairs above ?(excluding SSH & SJH couple, of course).
If the answer is "Yes".
Can you compare between the couple that made you the previous shipper with the SSH and SJH couple?

I mean comparing SSH's behavior towards his previous female leads off camera with SSH's behavior towards SJH off camera, or you can compare how KRW/KJH's behavior towards SJH off camera with SSH's behavior towards SJH off camera.

Now let's talk about why we become so (seemingly) obsessed with SSH and SJH couple. And why do we "believe" that there was something going on between them, since they met at the first script reading until the last in an interview for Japanese TV.
Then have we misperceived seeing SSH's behavior towards SJH while the camera was off?

As a handsome and famous actor, SSH is a gentle and friendly person to his co-stars and to the crew on set. It's like Go Jae-hyun (PDNim DM) said at the DM press conference that SSH has pure emotions.
This is consistent to what we can see from BTS of his all previous dramas (WMFL, Black, Player, The Great Show etc) how he behaved towards his co-stars. He laughed and joked around with fellow actors. His behavior showed a reasonable and friendly attitude both to the female leads and to his fellow actors.

Likewise, when he faced interviews and press conferences from his previous dramas, he also praised his female leads and also laughed when he received their praise.
(To prove it, you can search and see videos about how his attitude towards his female leads from his previous dramas on Youtube and then you compare his attitude towards SJH).

And then, in early 2020 we knew that SSH starred in DM with SJH as his female lead. We as viewers, were happy to see them to be a perfect couple in screen and have a great chemistry.
Our joy at seeing how they acted so well in DM, was more enthusiastic and became curious when we saw how SSH behaved toward SJH and when he interacted with her during the press conference.
Why are we so enthusiastic and become curious?

That's because we clearly saw SSH's body language during the event and how he looked so happy and a little nerves on the event.
He had never looked so enthusiastic, so passionate and so smitten with his female lead before. And also this event wasn't his first press conference. So why did he look nervous with movements that seems to calm himself? We all were surprised.

Anyway his behavior and body language are very different compared to when he was in the same event with different dramas.
We can also say that his behavior is excessive and unusual.

We also saw how he always stared at SJH, when he shared about DM's story to MC his hand touched SJH's lap, and how he teased her to make her laugh. There he looked very happy with lots of laughs.
(To prove it we can compare it to the similar prescon in his previous dramas)

Our enthusiasm increases when we see his "unusual" behavior towards his female lead (SJH) while introducing DM on the Kakao Talk video, on the DM promotion video for KNTV, at wrap-up party, on Japanese TV interviews and also in promotions for Japanese magazines.
Even We can see to his behavior during BTS DM and when SJH asked him to say something "bizzare" on her videocam, there SSH clearly said "really like you" with a helpless face.

The questions that arise are
- Whether it's all just acting? What is his motive ?.
- Why didn't he do the same acting when he was with his other female leads before?
- Is it possible that what he did to SJH off camera was just acting so that he could gain new fans and raise his reputation?
- And as shippers, are we wrong and too much if we have the thought that this time he seems to have been smitten with his female lead.

We're right. We are not wrong to have thoughts and perceptions that this time he is really smitten with his female lead.
And it seems that there is no need for a body language expert to assess SSH's behavior towards SJH. Because by looking at the video evidence, if we are a normal person, honest and without pretension we can clearly see.

But why are there some fanatical SSH fans denying that evidence and doing childish things, by giving bad comments to SJH? Did SJH do something wrong?

In my opinion, they are people who are unreasonable, childish and overreacting to treat what happened to their idol. As fans they get themselves too deeply involved. They seem to be a jury, who will decide which female lead they think is worthy of their idol.

They see from their point of view, not from their idol's point of view. So weird.

To be honest, they also saw the difference in SSH's attitude towards SJH. But considering they don't like SJH, they deny admitting it.
It seems that fanatical fans like this also exist in other actors.

So it is not surprising that SJH always ignores SSH's praises to her.
Like when SSH said "Really like you", "Seo Ji-hye comes to my mind", and gave "code" to him with her eyes when SSH drew her nose with "heart" because there was a camera recording it.
It seems that she is aware that diehard SSH fans who do not like her, will invade her with bad comments on her official account.

I believe in my intuition that what happened in the moments mentioned above is the true SSH behavior. He's not acting.

As someone who is quite mature, 44 years old, a famous handsome actor who has built his career for 20 years, he no longer needs cheap promotions in such childish ways.

It is true that the entertainment industry has sometimes resorted to "tacky" and "cheap" promotional strategies to raise their artist's name. But an SSH doesn't need that.

I see that SSH really appreciates SJH's presence in the industry.
He definitely doesn't want to use SJH as a "tool" to raise his reputation, even though he seems to realize that many viewers among millennials are not his fans.

As I've said in my previous post, I do not want to guess whether they are dating or not.
What's clear, since they met in the drama and got to know each other, their relationship won't be the same as it was when they didn't know each other.

It is possible that they become close friends to get to know each other's characters more deeply, considering that they both are still single.
Since they are both single, their chances of becoming lovers and getting married are very likely.

So let's leave them with their lives.

As the shipper it is not wrong to do anything, after all, it is one of our ways to support them in a positive way.
It's better than us leaving bad comments about any of them here and there.

If someone on IG said that SSH is dating a non-celebrity, I hope we don't get provoked by the news so easily.
Since the news was not officially released by the agency, the news was false.
Because if he already had a girlfriend before he starred in DM, his behavior towards SJH would not be like what we have seen so far.

If MBC doesn't cancel its annual awards ceremony, we hope to see SSH and SJH present there.

It will be our chance to see how they interact with each other again.

We are all happy and appreciate to know that someone named Ligo, who studied the talent and psychology with saju-mythology (fortune telling), said on his/her channel that overseas Youtube subscribers asked him/her to analyze SSH and SJH's fortune harmony.

In the first part, it is said that they have the same fortune letters which refers to them in the positive metal. Because they have the same letter, it creates a condition where they can communicate well with each other. But since they both are positive metal, they would not give each small concession.

In the second part, it is said that there are the letters that tell them how they feel about their spouses, and these letters are the same.
In other words they value their spouses very much and want to take care of them.

It seems that they are equal and will be like friends because they share the same mind with each other. It's such an amazing meeting.

We can clearly see them in the moment after the drama ends but they still meet regarding their drama. It was in their interview with Japanese TV. (Maybe also in Wrap-up Party where SSH called SJH specifically to make speeches and teased her in front of the DM crew)

If you look back at my analysis of how their body language was during the Japanese TV interview (page 61). There I wrote that how SSH supports SJH and on the other hand SJH needs support from SSH. And how they respect each other through mutual praise.
They also do not hesitate to laugh and tease each other in front of the camera. Even SSH as a person feels the need to thank SJH, in a polite way, when receiving praise from her. This is a SSH sweet gesture that we rarely see towards his female lead.

That's similar like Ligo said that :
"They value their spouses very much and want to take care of them.
It seems that they are equal and will be like friends because they share the same mind with each other. It's such an amazing meeting.
They communicated well when they acted with the same mind".

In the face of the interview, we can also see how SJH intelligently and straightforwardly answered all the questions. It is like Ligo said that SJH speaks very well because of her excellent language skills.

And it made everyone laugh. And Sora hugged her.

Reaction video "Wrap-up party DM" .
This event happened a few months ago, but if you want to know how SSH treated SJH special, the signs are evident in this video and to see how SSH giving special attention to his beautiful female lead, Seo Ji-hye.

It seemed that he had never done this to all of his other female leads
It turns out that meeting SJH at DM had impressed him so much that even at wrap-up party he still wanted to get her attention by teasing her.

It's a DM wrap party video that was visually enlarged, but shortened in duration, done and uploaded to Youtube by dramaholic11.

The mischievous SSH

It's the actual DM wrap party video (if I'm not mistaken it was taken from the IG of one of the DM crew present at the event) uploaded to Youtube by Song Seong Heon Peru.

In this video you can see SSH (in white shirt) standing not far behind PDNim who was giving a speech to the crew and the DM team.

- 0.06 SJH appeared (in light green shirt) from behind SSH.

- 0:10 SSH's body moved to the left, it seems he saw SJH.

- 0.12 SSH moved to the right and turned his head to the left (our sight is slightly interrupted by a female crew passing by). He wanted to know if SJH was still there because he heard PDNim was ending his speech.

- 0.15 PDNim ended his speech, SSH clapped his hands, on the right side was actor Ko Kyu-pil (WDH colleague in DM) wearing a light blue shirt, while SJH was still in her position.

- 0.17 SSH took over the clip-on from PDNim. It seemed that PDNim didn't think that he would take over the event, so he jokingly kicked him off.

- 0.21 SSH stood on the bench, took over the event. He waved his hand and turned left behind to see SJH. The audience started shouting SSH's name.

- 0.25 SJH walked to the right side, SSH was still seeing at her. It seemed that SSH called out to her but she didn't hear, then he asked the audience to be quiet.

- 0.28 SSH raised his left hand while calling SJH's name "Uri Ji-hye ssi .... Uri Ji-hye ssi ... ppalliwa", asking her to come to him. The audience started shouting SJH's name.

- 0.34 SSH reached out with his left hand to grab SJH's hand. Then it became clear he was guiding SJH to ascend to the bench giving a speech. They both stand there.

Before SJH started giving her speech, SSH jokingly gave a preface saying that "she is an actress with a bad personality". This made her and the audience burst out laughing while he seemed happy to be teasing her.

- 0.43 SSH pleased her to speak by saying her name "Ji-hye ssi", and gave her a clip-on and stood behind watching her speak. Apparently SJH was used to the way SSH always wanted to tease her.

The mischievous SSH stood at the back, laughing happily at being able to tease her again at a wrap-up party. The actor Oh Ye-won (as Sora in DM, wearing a light purple shirt) seemed to hug her on the right side.

Then it seemed SSH was asking OYW to let SJH speak.

Next SJH made a speech to thank all the crew and DM team, and was grateful that the shooting ended well. SSH seemed to remain standing behind watching her.

If the second video can be zoomed in and slowed down, we can clearly see what SSH was doing there.

SSH has the nickname of a tough guy. But I didn't see him that way when he was with SJH. He looked helpless and without him knowing it, he was always caught staring at her.

If you look back at SSH-SJH's interview on Japanese TV, we will see how actually SSH gave support to SJH in facing this interview and on the other hand SJH needed support from SSH considering this was her first interview with an overseas TV program.

I am guessing that all of you must have paid no attention to how SSH was giving support by nodding his head before SJH started speaking. The moment occurred after they gave their opening words by greeting Japanese TV viewers.

When it came to the question what role did they play?
We see SJH sat in a formal position, maybe a little tense.
Her face was looking at SSH. And SSH also was looking at her and giving a sign by nodding his head. She immediately faced to the camera after noticing that the camera actually was on. Then she started to speak.

When the second question came, why did they take that role?
SSH was still looking at her and (as if) fixing his shirt cuff, while SJH was already feeling relaxed by crossing her left legs.
She explained confidently why she took the role of WDH. Even she complimented SSH saying that she immediately took the role when she found out the name SSH was there.

It seemed SSH didn't expect that SJH would compliment him, so it made him who initially listened seriously, laughed and replied that he also did the same thing. He immediately took the role when he found out the name SJH was there. They laughed. Then he said that he thought they would have an interesting chemistry.

After that SSH seemed to let her go through the interview well and as we can see, SJH quickly could adapt to the situation. It was seen how she seemed more relaxed in answering the next questions.

As the question came how did she think working with SSH?
She honestly and sincerely praised SSH by saying that considering SSH was her first co-star, she was initially awkward. But he was able to create a pleasant atmosphere at the shooting location so that she felt at ease. She thought that he had led her, so she thanked him.

After saying her compliments and thanking to him, she didn't realize when he suddenly bowed his head and saying thank to her.
She stunned a moment and immediately answered yes while bowing her head too, returning his respect and then they laughed.

Seeing their interview makes me smile. They are like two teenagers who secretly has a crush on each other.

Even if the culture of praising co-star has always been shown in public by actors and actresses in Korea, but this is the first time I've seen interviews of two main leads, complimenting and teasing one another.

(I've never seen a situation where Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin were interviewed together. Is their behavior like SSH and SJH, complimenting and teasing each other? there any one of you see?)

They also looked blushing when they got compliments from each other. Sometimes there were words and body language that only they themselves seemed to understand.

Have you ever seen SSH do an interview with his female lead and then he said that he was curious about her? Or have you seen another actors do an interview and told honestly in public that they were curious about their female lead?

You can also see how SSH thanked her with respect, he let go of his cross legs, lowered his head and looked directly at her face. (His face looks happy).

Actually he could just say thank you to her while bowing his head without having to let go of his cross legs as he did when he got compliments from his other co-stars. But it seemed he treated SJH very special.

There was a moment when SSH was talking about memorable scenes and lines in DM, SJH suddenly interrupted just to say that SSH's comedy acting was also interesting.
SSH stopped and turned to her with an understanding face letting her speak. When he knew it turned out that SJH was praising him, he joked with a cough.
In return SSH praised SJH back how he wondered why she didn't do such bright and attractive role sooner. (He also said this at the press conference.). SJH blushed.

I think it's because of SSH's name has been very popular in Japan, and he has many loyal fans over there. That's why DM was showing in Japan because there was SSH's name. And of course getting the opportunity to star in DM with famous actors like SSH was definitely a very valuable experience for SJH. So that the Japanese TV only directed that question to her.

In my opinion, SJH's experience of having interviews with Japanese TV will be something she can be proud of, because not all female actresses in Korea have this opportunity.

Although SJH is well known in Japan for her role as So-dan in CLOY, she doesn't get the chance to get interview and photo shoot for Japanese viewers. Even if there is a CLOY interview and photo shoot for Japanese TV, surely CLOY's main leads, like HB and SYJ will do it.

Looking at SSH's behavior in some of their previous videos (BTS videos etc) including their latest videos interview with Japanese TV, DM promotional for Japanese TV and interview promotion for Mokkan magazine) there is one important highlight on SSH's behavior, where he always looks helpless when he is with SJH.

If you are observant, you can see the difference when he was with SJH and when he was with a bunch of women in the program Gamseong Camping.

Even though on the program he laughed, cared for them, joked around and looked familiar with them, but something was different. SJH is still someone special for him.

Hoping MBC will have its Annual Awards Event, and SSH and SJH will be there.

I'm curious to see how SSH will react to seeing the beautiful SJH with him there.

It turns out that SJH's cellphone in the BTS photo, where she was showing something on her cell phone to SSH, is her personal cell phone. (BTS photo watching a movie at KHK clinic).
Because I saw her in ILA using a cell phone with the same cover, green color with yellow white flower motif.

I think the photographer who asked them to be styled like that.

Typically the photographer will shoot several styles of them and then select the best ones to put on the cover page or on the inside page.
It seems they did two photo shoots for two magazines.

For TV Guide magazine, a photo of them standing side by side (close-up) became the cover of TV Guide magazine. While on the inside page there were photos of them in different styles, such as sitting side by side etc. (we've seen it).

For Mokkan magazine, a photo of them in black and white (or dark blue - white) outfits sitting close together on a sofa as an illustration for an article about their interview, is placed on the inside right page while the interview's article started on the inside left page. (We've seen it)

I was touched when SJH said that "she would not be able to find a man to marry her". Her words were very honest and frank.
It seems she has the guilt for not being able to fulfill her promise to her parents, especially her mother, to marry three or five years after she decided to live alone. Her honesty and her candor show that she has never felt that she is beautiful, and with her beauty she is easy to find men. In fact, she is not just "beautiful" but "very very very beautiful".

I rarely see a beautiful actress who is currently trending on internet search in Korea so honest, straightforward and has an open mind like her. What I know, they will usually be more closed off, especially personal and family matters. This may be to avoid harsh comments from viewers. Likewise with SJH initially.

She said she initially felt uncomfortable appearing on ILA because she didn't know what people would think of her. But the people around her advised to appear on the program.

When she finally agreed to appear there, it seemed that her mother's support (and support from someone special) played a big part, considering that her mother also was a fan of the program. This made Narae jokingly thank her mother.

And what is very important for the people around her, for her mother (and for someone special) to suggest that she had to appear in ILA is to break people's perception that her real image is not like the roles she plays in dramas, such as cold image, not easy to approach and without feeling.

After seeing SJH in ILA, my heart was suddenly touched.

1. SJH decided to live alone, not living with her parents anymore about seven years ago. That means when she was 29 years old (30 years old in Korean age).

2. Living alone was her wish for a long time, so that at that time she told her parents that before she got married in about three or five years, she wanted to fulfill that wish.

3. She needed her parents's approval to live alone considering they lived in the same city, Seoul.
Her parents might wonder why they should live separately if still in the same city.

4. So don't be surprised if she said "family was on her mind the most" when answering questions on Japanese TV interviews. That's why even though she lived separately, she would visit her parents once a week for the sake of having dinner together.

5. Her younger sister had married and had children, currently residing in Australia. This may also be the reason her parents didn't initially allow her to live alone.

6. Each year when her break from work, she visited her younger sister in Australia. Or otherwise her younger sister will come to Korea. She missed her niece/nephew.
