    These clearer screencaps are from those long previews before an episode. The scene was very brief! But you can also see this scene during episode 1 when KS and ET first met while walking outside the school. KS had a blurry and very quick vision when he met ET's gaze. :)

    I'm back! I hope to discuss more with you all from now on. I was on a holiday vacation abroad and finally got to experience winter. The ski resort and cable car scenes in ep 9 reminded me of my travel and how extremely cold it was up in a snowy mountain! The cast and crew are working so hard! 

    @NRGchick@packmule3 and others (since I spent the last 2 hours backreading I couldn't note down all of you hehe)... Thank you for all your insightful comments on KGE as well as KS and ET's relationship. I can't express myself well so kudos to all of you who took all my thoughts into writing! I tend to like relationships that are rooted and get to develop based on a deeper connection. I've never seen a couple like KS and ET in a drama before and I really think it's a breath of fresh air to see them interact. The slow burn is perfect for their relationship. Their love is so pure and innocent and tender and heartwarming (I could list all adjectives I could think of but it'll get annoying haha). The sadness that wraps around their fates yet they still manage to be so cute with each other is what makes everything so heartfelt. The feeling of falling in love for the first time and that constant foreboding... and them finally taking action in changing their destinies. From what we've been hinted at so far, I do think we will get a happy ending. "Love will prevail" and it's nice to see KS begin to hope and change the course of his life because of love. 

    As I've pointed out before, I think this will be one of the final scenes:

    I think it's cool that they've already filmed all the Canada scenes. We might get to see more 29yo ET. :)

    I really love this scene because of how cute and natural it was. I remember the first time I got a birthday surprise during my freshman year in college. I was away from home and spent the day feeling quite down. And then my three guy friends asked me to go out and have dinner with them and they surprised me with flowers and cupcakes. I was legit crying and laughing like ET and my friends' reactions were like these three men. :sweatingbullets:

    this back hug is so angst filled, so emotional charged. an all-out protecting her. dare anyone to still say they generate no chemistry. that full tight grabbing of her from the back, in the spilt moment of defending her... was so sensual... wow! i actually thought i will die by that kiss... haha. i think i was slayed by that Back-hug instead, and that full front-embraced . loved your few photos you just posted.  i have a specail thing for Hugs!!!

    Also, I'd like to point out that they didn't put background music when KS hugged her. I really love that they didn't since it made the scene more intimate and real.

    I'm on a winter holiday abroad and I haven't been able to read the posts here for almost a week! I need to backread fast! I just finished watching the raw and to those who predicted that the OTP are probably watching Train to Busan... *applause* I was legit laughing out loud and my family were just looking  at me. Haha. The ending was very surprising though. ET can pull the sword! And then everything happened so fast that I didn't know how to react. But I may have probably laughed a little because of how extremely dramatic and random the destruction of cars was. I have to wake up early to watch the episode again. Thanks for the updates and discussion, everyone!

    A scenario would be she accidentally blows a fire (again) and summons KS half naked (for whatever reason there is) and he's the one who loses his cool and screams like crazy and does his best to cover himself up while she's her usual, "Ahjussi! Woah! Amazing!"

    I've been MIA these past few days because I'm out of the country and the internet at this hotel sucks. I've been reading a lot of comments about the age gap and ET's character here, on Dramabeans, and [illegal website] ... And I'm glad that some people share the same sentiments as mine. 


    I think that ET's childish behavior is just her coping mechanism to retain just the tiniest bit of her sanity because of how horrible her life had been so far. First, I want to point out that she ONLY notches up her aegyo when she's with KS because he's the ONLY person who brings her happiness at the moment. I want to commend KGE during the scenes when her character smoothly changed from bubbly to serious in a flash (one example is when the two leads were sitting in the living room in ep4 and ET's voice changed to normal/became deeper when she ranted about controlling her thoughts--her cutesy act totally disappeared). She's simply an innocent (albeit naive) young woman who only has general ideas about becoming someone's bride. Remember that ET only knew her mother, became an orphan at a young age, lived with horrible relatives. She never witnessed living in a family with a father figure. It's only normal to assume she's completely clueless about a lot of things and that brings about her child-like qualities.


    So she's not childish and annoying at all for me. Her maturity and sensitivity is so admirable for someone who has suffered for so long. She yearns for affection and protection that's why she quickly latches on the only opportunity she has-- being the goblin's bride that she's been told she is her whole life. She's strong, optimistic, and is a complete sunshine (around KS and we all know he loves it). I've never experienced such hardships but I feel for her character. 
    I'm looking forward to seeing her grow and for her to see KS in a different light. As of now, I think she's just being practical and only has the slightest crush on him. I find it cute that my prediction was true... it was KS who fell in love first.

    Its been mentioned but the problem is Grim/Sunny meeting being cut, most people were looking forward to that so that's why there seems to be quite a few people complaining. If it was not shown in the preview would have been a different story.  

    This happened to the other (few) kdramas I've watched before. They would show a clip or two in the preview but cut it and put it in the next episode. I guess it's because of the reduced time and maybe next episode, the focus will be on GR and Sunny interacting.

    That last line sounds... well... hmmm... If you know what I mean. :phew:

    I'm confused about some pointing out that ET might've heard from the ghosts about the sword and she's probably lying about seeing it. As far as I know, only GR knows about it. And I wonder how he knows it and if he can see it as well? Can all supernatural beings see the sword but only the goblin's bride can pull it?

    I just finished watching the raw episode. Damn my OTP feels are strong in this one! I love KS and ET's interactions. From the little things (like him picking up her scarf and wrapping it around her, him getting all excited when she accidentally summoned him, him cooking meat for her, her being so shameless in eating and ordering a drink...) to the deeper ones (the way they were both missing each other, those longing gazes at the park and him smiling as he thought about her afterwards, the symbolism of how he shielded her from the rain and how he awkwardly yet affectionately patted her head, and that intense ending). I can list a lot but omg... my heart is about to burst! Haha!

    From all those mentioned, I really loved the one at the park. When ET turned around expecting that he would be gone (I was honestly expecting him to be gone, too.) but then there he was! Still standing there and looking at her and Hush started playing in the background. That scene was so satisfying!

    I have a lot of other things to say but I will watch again tomorrow but with eng sub. Hihi

    @padhariI'm glad I started seriously learning Korean this year. I'm still at elementary level but the writing on the fridge definitely made me laugh out loud. "STUPID GOBLIN". And GY ramping up the romance with the names and heart in between. :wub:

    Also, I did a bit of backreading until page 21. I'm seriously pissed at the hateful comments knetizens left when KGE was announced (and the succeeding casting news). They bashed her because of her looks? I, for one, love how natural and cute she looks. How often can you find a young actor of her caliber? Someone who can play diverse roles and totally immerse herself in acting? She's a breath of fresh air and seems like a cool person in real life. I just can't believe a lot of people were raging and disappointed that a "prettier actress" wasn't cast... that GY was blindsided for having KGE as his lead. That they were requesting for other actors (like YIN and Kim So Hyun) to switch roles with her. I mean... I want her to prove everyone wrong (just like in CITT). All of us who like and support Go Eun-ssi... Let's do our best to love this precious little cinnamon roll, okay?
