I'm hoping that a divorce between Drama Queen and Attorney will come at the request of her father, since daughter is so unhappy. That would be an easy way out.
-
I'm wondering in the end if Baek will try to redeem himself by reuniting MiSo and her daughter. He has a lot to make up for with all his rotten deeds, but deep, down in his soul I think he has real guilt. Boy, if NaYoung has a miscarriage her big plans will be dashed.
-
It seems we are moving forward now, so maybe the pace will pick up. Miso's friend is sure a breath of fresh air with a lot of gumption! She made a mess with that food... I was hoping she'd douse it with a ton of hot pepper for an extra "kick"! Ha! She's one of the few sane people in this drama.
-
Definitely "Ooh la la Couple" and "All About Marriage". Those two had the flattest endings and some of the angriest comments I've ever seen. You had to kick yourself and ask "How many hours did I waste watching this stupid drama?"
-
So by the end of ep.29, lawyer knows MiSo is being beat up and confronts wimpy husband and gives him a pretty good lick. I didn't like the darkness of the "missing child", and now we throw in battered woman syndrome. This writer must have a punch list (literally) of nefarious topics to cover to offend everybody.

As I said before, I'm not writing off Hae Ram because the truck accident scene was just too murky. There are too many questions left as to what really happened there, and you notice NY's mother has not been in the story line lately. If the 100 episodes are divided into 25 ep. blocks of divorce, development, romance, then reunion, then I'm with gene71632.... it will get really slow.
-
I'd be satisfied with Na Young just doing the perp walk into prison by the end. After these last few episodes, I'm even more convinced that Hae Ram is still with NY's mother. Still no flashback to the accident, no finish to it, so I think it was just a close call that shook up NY for a few seconds. PO'ed (perpetually outraged) mother-in-law plans the funeral for HR at the Monk's encouragement, so they're trying their best to make us believe the kid is gone. I'm not buying it, and expect eventually birth mother, daughter, and granddaughter will be reunited.
-
Well, ep. 21 is one of the screechiest episodes ever. That MIL is one of the worst actresses ever. The implication is that Hae Ram is gone, but I don't know. The episode with the truck makes it look like she was hit, but it never finishes, so I'm not sure if HR was scooped up and put back in the car and sent home with caretaker mother, and maybe the truck just hit a pole or something. Next episode (22 raw) doesn't even show Hae Ran, but NaYoung is visibly shaken. I just really don't like this long, torturous segment at all.
-
I, too, feel that the Hae Ram portion is just going on too long, and that she may be eliminated in an accident. That would eliminate a custody battle when the big divorce comes along. If MiSo is the V.P.'s real daughter and gets back into the company, the sparks will really fly. And in the end, NaYoung will have blood on her hands.

Wow! This thread is heating up and I love it! I was wondering if anybody else was uncomfortable with the kidnapping. That's a little bit of a "dark" element that I hope doesn't last too long. Adults being roughed up by thugs is one thing, but kids being put in an uncomfortable situation.... yuck.

This drama is awesome! Please, everybody, watch it! The subs are up every week (4 eps.) and the story is intense. It begs for some great discussion, so thanks, Soompi, for putting it up.
-
We need a discussion thread for "Crazy Love", M-Th drama. The English subs are appearing at rocket speed, done every week.

After watching the last episode (somewhat subbed), I must change my opinion and say it was an OK conclusion, and did a nice job tying up the loose ends. I still think there should have at least been a phone call between WJ and his mother, and SA's incarceration was pretty mild, considering her obnoxious attitude and pain she caused. Anyway, I appreciate all who shared on this thread, and hope to find some of you on another.

IBELIS said: So what SA went to jail for about 5 or 6 months? They are way to forgiving for me. I could never look at SA and worry about how life was going for her in NB place. I love a happy ending but everyone doesn't have to be happy.

Doesn't it seem odd that there are no airbags in these crashes? If I was one of those car sponsors, I'd be pretty upset that my product looks like if you rolled down an embankment you didn't have more protection.
-
Another big thanks to Ayame for the recap. @smhelen... that's the guy who is in cahoots with SA in the money scheme. He didn't inject anything since he was caught, but they were trying to silence JW for what he knows. For most of this drama, he's been hiding in Hong Kong.
-
I don't want this family to have to deal with an invalid either, so I hope, too, that JW recovers enough to function on his own. There was a terrible drama a while back where the young father (who did rotten things) got into an accident and ended up with the mentality of a 4 year old. Yes, JW did some bad stuff, but his family support system is sincere in loving him. Punishing him further in the story is cruel.
-
I had some of the same thoughts as you all did. For instance, usually the police/investigator would be asking for information from NB's mother as soon as she awoke. The written report would be needed in any litigation/charges in the future. At that time the confrontation from the "hit men" would have surfaced, and how they called her Silvia Choi. This is a real fantasy land from the writer, and insulting to the viewer for implying that the police should not be involved.
-
I looked at the preview on their website, and the goofy translation included "... but a lot of time, died during surgery...", and also refered to the yellow envelope with divorce papers. I wonder if JW dies. Poor Mother will fall to pieces.
-
Ayame... you are totally awesome! Thanks for the complete re-cap.
-
Is it just me or is this drama getting to be all over the place? More dirty tricks to NB? Jeez, like we needed more of that. That seems to be a real crutch for this writer.
-
I don't think I feel as frustrated as some of you are. Remember that these episodes are out of sync, so I think the next one, ep. 42 may start to resolve some things. SC seems very sick, so the reunion with WJ and other business needs to get moving. I don't think she's going to last long.
On another note, I see "white haired guy" seems to have been demoted from doctor (a role he often plays) to shoe judge! Ha! Ha!

When SA asked JW if he trusted Boss lady, he said, "I don't trust anybody." That would include Sa herself, and I think he will definitely be playing both sides of the fence. I wouldn't be surprised if he's the main guy to bring down SA.
And does this writer think we're so naive to think that a stranger can walk into a Board of Directors and demand who the next president of the company should be? They don't even know her, let alone JW. Evidently she has an inoperable tumor, so she needs to work fast.
I love the aunt... wait until she finds out that SA was the one who squealed on her!! Yikes! When Gramps threw the shoe and she fell down, then peeked out of the corner of her eye... hilarious!

I can hardly wait for the war to begin between MIL and NaYoung..Ha!! Maybe Baek can snatch the baby and use it as a bargaining chip for the missing daughter.
