As much as I want Lee MinHo getting all this very much deserved endorsement offers, I don't want him to be over exposed like a lot of A-list stars and then one day he'll just be merely a name on the list.
Like what happened in the casting of Goong and Boys Over Flowers, they specifically looked for someone that's not that well-known. I don't want MinHo to be missing great opportunities like these because he's not the "fresh new face" that casting directors are looking for anymore.
Did I make sense? Probably not...
i know what you mean in regards with these gazillion endorsements he's been getting..im assuming that his management thinks this is the best tactic for lmh's career..there is always the good and the bad..but im assuming that they will pursue this path because they feel that lmh needs to get as much exposure because it means that he is in demand..and since BOF is about to be over, they are trying to get as much endorsement deals since it might take a few months for min ho to decide on his new project..it gives min ho some side projects to do before going back to his real job..and i think korean netizens are used to this overexposure..more cfs=more popularity...
and i think now with his popularity, we can assume that the projects would come to him and all he have to do is pick wisely so maybe it can still open some more great opportunities for him..
I agree with you that this boy is full of talent. I'm neutral towards him when I saw the casts for BOF since I have not seen his previous work and boy, was I impressed by the end of episode 1. He really owned Domyoji alright. With his natural acting, I have no worry of him taking on other roles after BOF. However, I can't help wonder... He showed us a range of facial expressions as GJP that I'm worry that with whatever character that he takes on, people will just link it to BOF. I mean, if he takes on a comedy role, ppl will say that's the same expression he got in BOF. Takes on a serious role and ppl will say that's the same expression in the Macau story. I like him as GJP but he has to break out from this role should he wants to move on.Anyway... WHAT?! Smokie makeup and ponytailed minho?! Omg!
yeah for sure we are worried that he will typecasted as GJP...now it's up to LMH to challenge himself..as long as he still remains true to his passion for acting, i have faith in him that he can tackle any roles..
im just hoping he would still keep that humble persona of his..

imma miss my min ho as GJP..he really owned the character..better than his japanese and taiwanese counterpart even the anime hahaha..whoever did the casting deserves a big bonus because lee min ho was beyond everyone's expectations..i remember back then people were disappointed that they had had picked LMH and wishes it had gone to a more popular actor..but after a few months, LMH became an instant star...im not worried for lmh in regards to after BOF because the boy got some mad talent..he doesn't just have one expression like some actors..you can tell he is sad, mad, happy, in love, crazy, etc..and i love love when he cries because i can also feel the pain that he is trying to convey..im just loving the fact that our lmh still remained humble, kind, and still remain youthful in his own way..he still has that down to earth/shy/naive persona in him--which i admired him for..

maybe JH would propose to JD when JP gets an amnesia or.....JH would propose to JD to test her love for JP since she just quickly ran off and broke up with JP..maybe she lied saying she doesn't like JP that much to stay in the relationship so maybe JH proposed but rejects him--which truly means that she really loves JP that she can't move on that quickly..hahaha i don't know..i love BOF it makes u think even though i've seen so many versions..

I haven't bought a KBS drama in a long time-..and I'm used to the Bitwin release so I didn't really know much about their expansion..anyhoo I am planning to buy the Boys Over Flowers DVD set and it's a KBS drama..i am wondering if this would be in all region like the other previous KBS dramas that I had bought in the past..I really want to get the korean version--because I'm not fond of American version-the quality of the packaging isn't really my cup of tea..

I will be so upset of Ji Hoo and Jan Di end up together and break the real ending from HYD.
-In my opinion, Ji Hoo is obviously the Soulmate just because she always says that he's there to save her whenever she's nin trouble and seems to be way too similar to be in a relationship.
- Jun Pyo, is, and !!should be!! (lol), her Husband in the end becuase their relationship represents the innocence and the struggles of love (even though it's exaggerated: considering his mom and the engagement). Plus the way they compliment each other and mature and grow together.....JD teaches him to be humble and to really bring out his best by fighting for what he wants. JP makes her realize how strong she is and also brought out the best and worst from her that helped her learn more about herself and her strength since she represents a weed.
i agree...this is why im so drawn to JP and JD together..they balances each other..They learn from each other to become a better person not just for each other or for other people but importantly for themselves..and with the all the problems that are arising, it's obvious that the main love story is between JP and JD..because why waste Mama Kang's evilness for nothing..it's just doesn't make sense of most of the love conflicts are always towards to JP and JD...because if it was intended for JH and JD, we should just have the grandpa become evil, JK wanting to marry JH, and JP comforting JH in the trouble times--but that won't be HYD after all...

since it's the same PD of DGC and MG and both used time warp, I would prefer if the PD chooses the ending of DGC...I want a wedding!but this time with a lil GJP!
anyhoo it's really fun to read the article of the kiss NGs..both GHS and LMH being shy about the kiss adds to their characters..it shows the young love of JD and JP..yeah as much as I want a passionate kiss, I think this touch lip kisses give a more "youthful" love feeling..maybe the PD would step up a notch if he decided to do a years later kind of thing..

im pretty sure this is a JoonDi ending..i highly doubt that the rumor in regards that the PD intended for JH and JD to end up together..maybe the fact that the HYD author wanted JH and JD to originally end up together misinterpreted as the PD wanted a JH and JD ending since they released a statement that they wanted a different ending..
anyhoo im also one of the JoonDi shippers who believe in their chemistry and love..I admit in real life I would choose JH because he is like the practical choice..he is a less of a risk since Im the type of person who doesn't like taking chances but in a kdrama like BOF, i am drawn to JoonDi because their love is something you barely see in real life...It's like a fantasy that you want to see unfold..If i can't have it in real life, why not in a good kdrama...

my fave pic that looks like the LMH and GHS moment is when she touches his scarf n smiling..and also the one when she was reading her script while walking next to LMH..i hate pairing up people in real life...but lmh and ghs real-real chemistry is just too hot to ignore..

his dad didnt die. he is just in a coma and the witch lied about it. junhee was furious.
wow!the man needs to divorce the evil witch!i don't care what her reasoning it but that it's just a total blow especially for her children..aww imagine that agony that JP had to go through..anyhoo im positive that this man would be the key to defeat the evil witch...

im liking the spoiler/speculation somehow..with the evil witch, i can't really think of any to make her lose since she got the money and power..and im not really liking the idea that they will defeat the evil witch with the whole JD saving the company--because it seems like it's not enough for the evil wicth to suffer...i hope your speculation is true..i think having the dad on JP and JD's side would be a good enough source to defeat the evil witch especially he has more power than her..and plus for sure he would want his son to be happy and live the life that he has always wanted when he was young..and evil witch can't do anything about but cry in the corner!

anyhoo..some people are complaining about the kiss..if you ask me i am just happy that they touch lips (ive been watching thai dramas--let me tell you touching lips would be enough for you to go insane)..i know i know a really passionate one would be great..i don't really want to put any stress on the kissing scene because what's important is that JoonDi are reaffirming their status of their relationship..is it just me but i was sooooo happppy when JD smiled so naturally when she saw JP carry that boy to the bathroom..that one little moment just gave me the butterflies..and im looking forward to their conversations together--i love that they argue a lot but it's nice to see them together talk too..

...he sometimes depend on others...based on the spoilers, we all know the obvious that the evil witch is going to do something..and it's obvious the target would be JD..we all know JP's weakness is JD..anyhoo we are not exactly sure he didn't do anything if we haven't see the actual episode of what is going to happen...

thank goodness LMH exists!hahaha..im just happy i didn't hesitate to watch BOF..i was going to wait it out, but seeing LMH just got me glued in..last time i got really into soompi was when My Girl/Lee Dong Wook days..im gonna miss my GJP LMH!

aww finally plenty of JoonDi moments to look forward too..JoonDi may not have a lot of screen time for the past few epis, but you have to admit that when viewers see them onscreen together, you can't but feel the chemistry between them..they are both unpredictable together that's why they fit..
JP didnt ask for strength. he just needs JD to assert her love for him. u know, they misunderstood the other so much. he may think she doesnt love him any more. u know, if she doesnt love him, that he throws everythings is deserved? he has to live all his life in guilty and his woman isnt even beside him? JP is so stuck.i really hope that people stop telling that why he should stand up for his love and resist his mom! pls, seeing the situation from Jp's view. it's easy for us to talk but i wonder if i were JP, could i find the solution?
last, i'm sure in 22nd episode, we will know the reason for all JP's actions
i agree..and we are still waiting for JD to finally admit her feelings to JP..yeah she let him hug/kiss/hold her hand...buttttt sometimes it doesn't hurt when you can actually say it in words...
all i can say major props for JP kneeling down to JK...some may say it is very coward of him..but in my eyes, im amazed that he is willing to take his pride aside for the only woman he will ever love..

Re the Cadillac promo ambassador, the news article said LMH took the role for nothing.
They offered a lot of money for him to promote Cadillac, but LMH was modestly rejected the money
and accepted as a gratitude for leasing cars in BOF shooting and LMH himself loved the Cadillac
for its' safety.

It's all good LMH, you just have to prove the nay-sayers wrong. It would be one thing if he was just a pretty face who got lucky but being 100% objective I can say he has a lot of acting talent and it's this acting talent that has caused the current Lee Min Ho phenomenon. He's made Gu Jun Pyo larger than life and I am sure he can continue to impress us long after he's left BOF behind.

i totally agree...i remember people back then were a bit disappointed because LMH was JP even without seeing him act yet..but look at him now, people loved him because he is not just good looking, but he surpassed beyond expectations..it's not easy playing the JP character especially knowing there were successful versions that already aired..it takes a good actor, not just a pretty face, to leave a big impression...

It's been so long..finally JoonDi moments to savor..i guess this is why i like them..their constant bickering-childish ways when they are together..and when it comes to serious sweet moments together -they fit...i know that there are times that people notice JD is always mad at JP or less sweeter compare to JH..i feel like i know where she is coming from..I mean for me when I like someone, im a little bit tougher--maybe because I'm too shy to confess my true feelings..and for my guy friends, i feel comfortable just being around them that sometimes people might mistake it as having more than friends feelings..
anyhow..for some odd reason i wished BOF had more episodes..and today for epi 20, i was hoping that the epi would not end..and im loving the OSt!

hehehe min ho singing!?that would be cute..i won't take it seriously but ill support him..i think he will focus more on his acting..maybe the singing would give him something fun to do..and plus he loves going karaoke so maybe he has tons of experience that we don't know abt...regarding the MV, im not ready to see him make out with a girl in the video..

I've been a silent lurker fan of the show and I have to say this: they'd better throw in a few more kiss scenes to placate all the disgruntled Joondi fans! Cos seriously, all that angst and separation should build up to something no? and it better not be another sunlight silhouette shot. they arent in high school no more!!
hahaha call me a perv, but i was just thinking (just now) abt throwing a hot kiss to forget the agony and pain that the JD and JP shippers have to go through..

hehehe this whole soulmate thing reminded me of my fangirling over dawson's creek..soul mates vs true love..i was a true lover shipper..joey and dawson were soulmates since they practically connect and got along with each other like JD and JH..but in the end joey ended up with pacey--they guy who is totally the opposite of her--which reminds me of my JP and JD...anyhoo they better have a wedding for JP and JD..come on now hinting that JD had met her husband (accdg to the fortune teller) got me fired up!

im so happy for lee min ho's success..he deserves it..he is not just good looking, but he is a very talented actor..you can tell that he pours his 101% in his work..even though his character JP is not getting a lot of brownie points lately, he can still put a smile on my face..just eating that bag of ramen was so cute of lmh..it's really hard to imagine to find another actor who can do it as dorky and cute like lee min ho!

loved all the JoonDi moments..i admit the PD once again had tortured me with more JH-JD scenes..I don't know what's up with him but he did that in My Girl-Jun KI and Da Hae had moments that made some viewers confuse..anyhooo..the PD knows how to torture my heart...he gives me this little sweet moments between JoonDi..he is so smart that he put a few in the first part..the middle part was a torture..and then bam the last 5 mins was starting to get really good..and it doesn't help that the previews look promising when JoonDi and the kid look like they are a happy family...ahh i would love it if JP and JD and lil JP will have a family night out looking at the stars--gawd that would be enough for me to forget the unnecessary scenes..anyhow i think we should be fortunate enough that we got lots of touch kisses..just remembering HYD--they were barely..i had to watch the movie if we wanted more passion...aww im ready to be HAPPY AND SAD tomorrow..
awww i knew it my JP would be down on his knees..it reminds me of My Girl again..it's going to be sad..knowing LMH and GHS can really pull out sad emotions im going to cry buckets..i only wished it was the same as the Meteor Garden one but too bad we all know the outcome is..
