By the way... I haven't looked into HK versions of Kdrama DVDs, but do they release their own versions? I'd figure that they'd have pretty good subs.
hk versions..i don't think they had released their own version with good subs unless u r talking abt the china bootleg versions-the one that bootleg korean versions dvds with eng subs..
but i think the legit malaysian versions is pretty good with their eng subs..i heard my girl n goong had descent subs..i recently bought a taiwanese series, prince turns into a frog (the malaysian version), and i must say im satisfied with the eng subs..
FYI I think a lot of the discs asiandb sells are boots. Though they're called the Chinese versions, I don't think they're officially licensed. Guy at my video store calls it "gray market" and tries to avoid stocking them. I could be wrong, but… just be forewarned.
i think the site has half n half...they sell some bootlegs (gosh ridiculous price-90 bucks for bootlegs copies) and some authentic ones..
i think if u want to purchase from this site, u have to read the publisher's name, inof, etc..

Hi, everyone, I know I'm way late in getting into this drama but I just recently found out about it, I've downloaded it but I'm having some problems with the subs from d-addicts, I just can't figure out how to use them. I downloaded the avi version of the drama from naynay's clubbox and I was wondering if anyone could please upload subs that could work with this version, basically .srt subs, because I can'[t seem to find them anywhere, thank you to anyone who can do this
u have to unzipped the file that u downloaded from d-addicts..dl winrar n unzipped the files n i believe they r in smi-it should work like srt files..it works on my gom player..

ok i know im a late bloomer for this series, the reason:
a lot of ppl didn't like it...
but despite of that many still recommended it..so after a few thoughts-i decided to watch it..
my expectations were a bit in the middle...however i was blown away..i LOVED IT..i loved it coz it was very romantic..i enjoyed the sweet romantic scenes between the two characters..i fell in love while watching them..
i also love the lil drama that they added to spiced things up...
and the ending-i thought it wasn't that bad..i thought it was really bad coz ppl didn't like the ending..i guess i liked it coz i felt that they r destined to be together no matter what..
i have to give it 9/10-definitely one of my fave series now..
and yeah PSY-ahhh breathtaking...

^tiramisu--just beware of sbs production...my "my girl" dvd set didn't have excellent subs..i mean it's understable but for the price im paying-i expected at least good subs not average..
but yeah just keep in mind that sbs subs tend to be average compare to bitwin and yesasia versions..

^ahh kirsten..well im still confident that mugku would find a new project...i think with growing popularity n talent-i think a lot of scripts are lined up for her to read..hopefully it's something new for mugku..i love to see her in different characters..
and even though it's a bit OT..i was reading an article in the news thread--the Hong Sisters has a new project..im excited...

There's a whole transcript of the fanmeeting somewhere in the backpages of this thread. Mukgu said something like: they were both voted as no. 1 valentine couple for this year (that's why Wookie gave the V sign
), and she wanted to give him chocolates but didn't have the chance (isn't the guy supposed to give the chocs?!), so she decided to give it to him at his fanmeeting instead! Anyway malou, you'll see that moment i capped when he was googling the chocolates A couple of months later, he returned her sentiment by gifting her a box of chocolates (in a cool black box) on her birthday fanmeeting (Note: half-eaten...as he said, he got hungry
) and his current favourite cd. Music + chocolates = he's perfect! i haven't said this in a while: woooo-kilicious!
regaring the chocolate giving-i believe in korea, when it's vday the girl gives a gift (i guess the chocolate to the guys)..and then in white day (i forgot the name of the day)--the guys gives a gift to the person he likes...i remember dong wook n da hae won the best white day couple (pls tell me the actual name for this festivity)..hehehe i guess when dong wook gave chocolates to da hae it was like a belated (or advanced ? i forgot the day) white day but at the same time it was he rfanmeeting/bday ..
hehehe did i even make sense...but yeah pls do correct me if im wrong...
jo--ayayyyyy gosh dong wook is such a hottie...i love his sense of style...

^yes i just saw it too..boo hoo..are they trying to deceive us..i got really excited but now ahhh quite disppointed..i guess it's really difficult to get the rights for the extras..but oh well i would still buy it..i was disappointed on the sbs version i bought--the english was giving me headache (at least it's not a migraine).

if u ask me at least she can speak better tagalog than those fil-ams..even the ones who have lived there for years..

im so depressed u guys--and i was crying like a baby..i had to do a restore on my comp coz i really got a bad virus...n the only thing that the technician can do is wipe everthing off of my comp..

i doubt that Tom n YA have anything to do with this dvd because it's released by SBS not YA entertainment..i don't know if YA have any plans to release a YA version since they r selling the SBS version in the US website unless if it's in demand by a lot of ppl for YA to release better eng subs than the current SBS version..
tom is working for YA entertainment.. and i think yesasia would not be responsible for the poor english subs because yesasia is just an online store...
