I think this misunderstanding is getting too far, I have tried to explain it and at least two other people tried too.  We never said no, you can't spazz or go crazy over this drama, we didn't say that delight couldn't post her links, because at least for me it is a gray area, I really don't know about those links... what you can't do is, you can't post videos from dailymotion, no links to watch live send a PM it is what we all do, those posts requesting or telling where to get HD versions of the video  and all of that should be private, again it is a gray area and we might get in trouble or not it depends on the content provider and if they raise the issue, that is why we don't share them anyway, for now the link to the episodes I really don't know if it is fine to share that and I won't ask, having conversations in another language other than English is against the rules unless you provide a translation, the only thing I said was to follow the rules of every forum here in soompi, the rules are posted there you can go to the link and read them, people getting offended and targeted, I am sorry if you are quoting pictures, sharing other actors that have nothing to do with the drama and if you are talking about other things other than SOTUS and its actors, you are off topic and it is against the rules, why I put it in red because if I put it in black and in a small print how can other people know it was corrected by a moderator and not by mistake or by the original person, how do you or anyone else know that it broke the rule and how would you corrected if it is lost in all the posts or if you don't see it. No one is targeted imagine I would have to make a mental note of your avatar and check everywhere you go to target you, I see about 15 pages of at least 10 dramas here in Soompi that makes about 70 or 80 posts per drama multiply that by 10, how am I going to remember your name... No one or any forum is being punished, you have the rules since the thread was opened, we didn't check it before, but we are doing it now, so we are cleaning up what is out of order... Please, I already offer an apology because I have to follow the rules and enforce some of those rules, what else could I do. Nothing changed, everyone panicked and I really don't know why, this is what we do every day in every forum here...

What I think about the age thing, if I may say something, this is a fantasy drama about a 19, 19-year-old girl who falls for a Goblin who is 938 years old, he has a beautiful house, money, power and in looks he gets better with time, he lives with the Grim Reaper who contrary to what we all believe looks super hot.  They don't get this is a fantasy, in any case, it is being extremely violent towards Goblins.  People can't draw the line between fantasy and reality.  On the other hand, I can see why they brought it up, this is about the 5th or 6th drama of the year with a really young actress with an older actor, it might be that the drama watchers are seeing a pattern, they are off base in this one and all, but it might be the reason for the protest. Otherwise, why are they making an issue over it...

@Limerence Subs You said what I wanted to say, but I felt a message like that coming from me was going to be too much and get backlash, you got it, no one said no fangirling as long as it stays on topic, the shippers paradise have both a place for the real actors and your ideas that they might get together and for the characters too, some people make those, still you can post here about them both since that would be on the topic which is Sotus and without Arthit and Kong there is no Sotus, so go wild on your fangirling and spazzing just don't disguise your curse words keep it as clean as possible, we have younglings that use the site, comparing to other dramas is fine as long as you end up coming back to this drama and you are not bashing since bashing other dramas or other actors or any actor, or writer or producer is not allowed by the rules, but saying I like this drama better than that one is not bashing, saying the writing on this one is better is not bashing either so in no moment I or any other mod said don't do it, posting off topic pictures drives us all crazy, videos of movies they made are not allowed that goes on every individual actor's thread and you can create one and manage the content on the right thread and provide here the link, but if there is something related to Sotus it is allowed. and lastly and I hope it is the last of it, posting in another language is not allowed unless you provide translation and I saw some posts in Portuguese, I speak and read Portuguese, but not everyone does so those posts have to be removed, by the time I get to them since I don't know it was so long ago, but from now on no other language, I speak three languages and at times switch between at least two of them in everyday conversations and I don't see it as rude since most people I know speak any of those languages too, but not everyone is the same and it is rude.  Finally,  links are forbidden, any link to an outside site that has no license, raw companies, dailymotion etc... Sites like Viki and Dramafever, VIU, Hulu or Netflix are fine, they pay for a license to the owners of the drama so they are legal streaming sites Thanks

Further, just to a less extend of an issue and more of a point for the-powers-that-be's reconsideration:  directing us to create or go to other segments/threads for the sake of immaculate organization, would actually just in fact litter unnecessarily the forums, rather than consolidating SOTUS-influenced discourses into this single space.  Just when we've build up a very supportive community herein, then this happens. Isn't that what forum is primarily for? A space for community-building, enjoying all the variants there are, and not be subjected to 'segregation', never more so for some chosen one's showboating?

Again apologies @angelangie and @Tinkiebell, just so sad for this wondrous space to be spoilt this way.

First let me say that calling someone like me, for who I am a nazi is really offensive, I know popular saying, but it is not a nice way to call a Hispanic so for that, I feel a bit hurt.  Second I wasn't power tripping I was enforcing the rules for the sake of the thread and everyone, quoted pictures slow down the system, I don't know if you ever had a bad connection, but when you do just to try to check this or any other thread is horrendous, it crawls, I didn't believe it till my modem went bad and I wanted to scream trying to get information on a drama.  Soompi is full of wonderful information and it serves a purpose to have it all in its rightful place, order is needed, some people come here to read about Sotus, and in no moment was said no information about the actors playing a role in this drama, but if I want to see what Captain and White are doing I either go to their thread or I go to the drama they are actually in since most of us here want to see information about Sotus.  Have you ever wonder why people ask the same thing over and over, what is his facebook account, where can I find the translation to the novel, etc, it is because all that information gets buried under so much stuff that has nothing to do with this drama. Talking about other matters discourages people like me wanting information about the episode and what is coming next. I love this drama and I don't want to stop reading about it, but the whole thread is out of hand. I sincerely apologize if you felt hurt, but I want you to know that my intentions are not to make your life miserable, I could just report all the posts that are bad or that don't follow the rules without anyone knowing about it, but I chose to help out and make it comply with the rules for the sake of the thread and for the people who are posting without knowing those rules and for those who want to read about this drama, you can post mostly anything after the drama ends.  Lastly, moderators are supposed to edit posts, nothing rude about it, that is our function, we remind you about the rule in red so future people posting could see them and know such rule.  Every thread in Soompi gets edited, visit other ones and you'll see... Again I am sorry if you feel this is unfair, but if you click on the tab for rules and read them, you'll see I am following them.

you can spazz or scream here for episode 13 which I did by the way, the kiss was my most anticipated moment and I regret seeing it since it was my secret Monday pleasure, just me and Arthit and Kong, now I feel mad at myself for spoiling it for me watching it raw, but it was a great moment, I just couldn't wait.

For fanfiction you can provide the link, but don't post the whole thing here.  We have a fan fiction thread you can post it there, news about the actors are fine scenes, ig pictures related to the drama, conversations about their girlfriends or anniversaries are off topic you can open a thread for each actor individually and post those there and on shippers paradise you can create a thread for the fictional couple too, not here, songs, novel are fine, but please don't post anything about videos or links to watch the videos or how to download them, anything that is illegal has to be removed, use  private messages for that. We all loved Love Sick or any upcoming drama, but it is off topic here, this is a thread for SOTUS, not for Love Sick...   Thanks

There was a drama like this one, I can't remember, but if I am corrected they are living in the past and future parallel to each other, when they fix the future the past would get back to where it was supposed to be, so it will be one of those endings that most people who watch TV will not understand and they will talk bad about the drama...  It was so amazing, I really love it though.  I feel bad for the father, but he wants his son to understand him when he didn't understand him when he was young and  the son wants his dad to apologize when he didn't tell him how he was really feeling, it is funny how we say what we don't mean because we can't say what we are feeling at the right moment, humans can't communicate, we need a mermaid to help us since she can hear our thoughts.

He had the hat on remember he said no human could see him, although she saw him the first time when she covered the goblin's eyes not to see him, which brings me to my comment... This episode seems off as if it was written by a different writer, King of dramas comes to mind, the writer was so drunk the assistant wrote the episode on the fly, I know they have to slow down the progression of the story or it will go too fast and the end would suffer, but it was off, I think she saw the sword too soon...

I don't know how you guys can take it, I am crawling my walls, it is only Friday and I just can't wait any longer, I re-watched all the episodes just waiting, I have watched Goblin and The Legend of the Blue Sea and I am still not satisfied, I have to watch the new episode, I can't anymore... I couldn't log in for a while, but I am dying to say, I knew it, she could see the sword, I got the feeling in episode 2 she wanted to say it at least three times and now... I am in love with this drama it was written by my favorite drama writer, I have watched two of her dramas about 500 times and CH is my favorite since it aired, with exception of DOTS and LIP I am pretty satisfied with her, and now this drama is amazing, great writing and some of the most amazing acting, it is really a treat... I have the feeling the last episode is going to be a really sad one, so it is time to prepare myself for it, I will cry enough to make an 18" necklace... Gong Yoo is great at staring at people that he loves, isn't he???  I would love to see him turn and stare at me for 2 minutes...

I love this drama, all this talk about her being the right bride or not, it makes me think she can truly see the sword, but she is not telling him out of pity, three times during today's episode I had the feeling she was going to say it, but she didn't so maybe I am wrong and it is a matter of time or falling in love kind of thing, the fact that the little kid knew he was a Goblin since he was 6 it's funny in many levels, one the Goblin is not as smart and mischievous as he thinks, two the little kid might be the next Goblin, he will be perfect, three this kid is going to betray the Goblin and last it goes with the feeling kids now a days know more than kids before them... What I would like to know is who is that lady in red, red is a really bad color and even the grim reaper listened to her, maybe she is the bad guy of the story.  I love dramas like this, I am completely wrong about the plot most of the times, but it makes it fun to speculate...

I knew Lee Dong Wook and Gong Yoo together was going to be explosive, I mean they are great actors, but their chemistry and timing is impeccable, wow!!! I really loved episode 1 and I am in, if the rest of the episodes get me just a little bit of the happiness this gave me, I'll be satisfied... Great episode, this year so far I have dropped a lot of dramas and I have loved a few, this one is my Christmas gift.

After my crying like a lunatic ended, I realized that this was really a great drama, I loved how all the pieces fell into place, Jung found peace raising that beautiful girl as payment for Hae Soo act of saving his life and for loving her even though she loved someone else, Wook found out the hard way that his life was so vain, he was dying and his mom was going to do to his kids what they did to them, she was going to pin them against each other, like when she was sending his kids to make believe they were there to play with WS' and YH's son while plotting how to take the throne, nothing change, it was going to happen again, at the end all he had was regrets, I agree that Won's death was too easy, for what he did and the role he played on all the killings he deserved something worst...  Hae Soo protected her child from all the backstabbing she would have gone through, she was a parent, she wanted a better future for her daughter, the saddest scene to me was when YH was taking a bath saying my kid will be the king I will be the queen mom, just like the previous queen recited.  What a sad life for both the child and herself, her only satisfaction was to have a kid to use as a pawn to satisfy her own ambitions, to have a title and power, imagine not even thinking what kind of king he would be, just her thirst for power, I cried so much when Yo asked his mom, what am I to you mom, he was dying and all she wanted was to make him sign a paper to make his brother the next king.  I think when Hae Soo found out she was pregnant she saw how horrible her life might have been in the palace and found an escape for her to make her free, in turn  Hae Jin was born years and years later and then she found a way to go back to meet her love which if we see it,  they  were related or from the same family, wow, mind blowing. Hae JIn remembered the history when WS was considered a bloody king and Hae Soo turned him into one of the best kings in Goryeo... I cried so much during his last words, his uncovering of the scar,  they all might mean they will see each other in the future or it might all mean they loved each other so much time didn't matter anymore...

If it has a second part, better not I hate sequels, they are just awful, I think it answered all the questions, just like the original did... Either way I feel happy for watching this drama.

But have to say perhaps he looked so skinny now because of the king's attire. I think we associate the king to be more "buff" than he was. And with his hair done up, the weight loss is even more apparent. 

We can't deny though that he looked a lot more handsome here in this drama as compared to scholar drama. 

I read the weight loss was requested by the director to make him look more 'manly' or stronger because men in power have to have sharp features or something like that, I think he was fine and I love him no matter what, but he looks better with a little bit more meat in his bones... It makes me think of those face readers that know who the king was just by seeing the bones in the guy's face. So it might explain why he lost all that weight to be the king.

I keep repeating myself only three more episodes, but I am thinking on holding on till the end and not watch today's or tomorrow's episode and devour 4 episodes next week, I will just read the recaps and download them to my computer in case I get an insomnia attack and I have to watch something, but I will hold it, till next week that way my heart will not suffer too much unless it is a sad ending then it will kill me...

I agree the past is horrible, now it is a little better, but for those who don't learn from history they repeat it, if you see now in Korea for example all that plastic surgery and judging idols for having a blemish it has to come from those rules, a king can't marry someone with a scar, the king himself has a scar he covers up with make up still the rule applies to his woman. Not fair.  The future is better, just a tad better.

 

I liked the explanation for Rouxie not marrying him in the Chinese version, it was because the queen doesn't see the king that often that being just his woman was better, she can visit him everyday.  Remember kings used to share their beds with different women for political reasons so they had a lot of them, but some were hid and left there to die alone, that way Rouxie had her happiness.  In this one that rule seem so extreme that it hurts her more than comforts her. The writer or writers should have given it a better explanation. But then again they didn't want to make  it exactly the same so they made her suffer more.

No, it wasn't out of frustration, I know how it feels to be obsessed with a drama, just that I saw someone asking about it and I thought of making a mental note of the number on the page and went too far to remember what page it was or the name of the people who asked about it. To those wondering why the page number changed, I have place most of the spoilers about episode 16 under a spoiler tag so the page number changed, that is because it was asked for you to do it, don't discuss the episode till tomorrow and if you do better said do it and put it under a spoiler tag, there are some of the members who don't have access to the episode, or who are waiting for it, I have done a lot of pages and even though it is on the heading people still posted pictures without the spoiler tag, please do it till tomorrow at least.
