I have to mention something about what everyone is saying about MY not being able to imagine his future with JH. From what I managed to derive, is that it isn't that he can't imagine the future, because we obviously can see in the drama he does... the problem is that when he sees it, he clearly does not feel thrilled. He knows that he could be very happy with JH and have a good future together. But he knows that something is clearly missing from the picture. That spark, that 'magic' so to speak. And it frustrates him to death, cause he doesn't know what to do.
Secondly, I don't know if anyone else noticed, but after the boxing match with EJ... she asks him to tie her shoelaces together for her. He does, but apparently doesn't do a good job and comes apart again. I know that someone earlier had mentioned that giving shoes is a sign of break up or letting the girl be able to run away from the relationship. If that is so, he tied it nice and tightly for JH, however not for EJ! Could this mean that deep down he is not going to let her get away? What do you think?
When we said he can't imagine we don't mean it literally, we see scenes so it is obvious that he has imagination but it is said in the sense that he didn't like that scenario, the life he imagine with JH is not what he wants or she is not the one he wants, so yeah he can imagine it but he doesn't want it, about the shoes she didn't ask him to tie the shoes together but the shoelaces for her, (I've seen it in other dramas and it is always a sign of love and care in korea, I guess; did you notice EJ caressing the shoes he tied for JH by the door, it must mean something) he tied EJ's right shoe and not the left one it is not that they came undone since she tells him "tie the other one because they come in pairs", what I got from that is that he wasn't ready to be a couple yet so he says he will tie the other one later, I am guessing once he clears all the mess he created with his going back to JH and not and not being clear on what he feels yet then he will tie both of her shoes...
@Dorothy Yap, this lady went completely crazy I guess she switched her hate for MY(yes it is hate and not love, since people in love don't do the things she is doing, that is an obsession with deep hate) so now the new target is JH since now she blames her for getting him away from her but if I was an FBI profiler a la Criminal MInds, I would say that she is going to play a game now with JH and SY since SY dislike JH or hates her deep down because her mother admires JH more than her, so the stalker is going to try to convert SY to her side. I still don't believe that the Ahjuma is acting alone or that she is the deadly stalker but I could be wrong since I am not a profiler yet, (I love that show and watched it for five years, I should be able to guess this one but I guess I am not paying attention to the show), I think she is the one sending the photos but the one that killed the cat could be someone else and that is why she send that message, who is the bad one? that was weird and really scary.
On another topic, anyone knows who sings the song that they play when EJ knocks out MY, it sounds so familiar is it the new song that we have to wait two more episodes to be release, I hope not I want to hear it now...

I think it means appeal play- but trying to figure it out still.
Sorry I have a cold so I overslept and stay in bed most of the day... to answer every runner must touch the base or "tag it" in order to be safe if you are in first but you run to second and fail to touch it or tag it you have no right to occupy said base... So an appeal play is when the runner misses the base so he is consider out on appeal but if every player leaves the field before they can call the out then that person is safe since there is no one on the field to tag him out. In other words if no one notices that the runner missed the base only the pitcher but he doesn't appeal it till everyone left the field it doesn't matter if he does since it is already too late, if he wants to win the appeal he has to call it when the ball is still in play... Hope it works... I guess if MY would have told JH that it was over then she would've made the idea that they weren't back together but since he didn't now he has to break up with her... Could it be a way to take it?

After a good night sleep I thought of another example that goes with the analogy, everyone is noticing that MY is in love with EJ but even if everyone knows if he doesn't come to terms with it, it doesn't matter who knows about it, and if EJ doesn't say anything either nothing will change...

Over all it was a good episode, I enjoyed the boxing scene there is nothing better than a person come to a realization right in the middle of the ring, MY got it now, he knows why he can't imagine his life settling with JH and that was the best... the only thing is all the characters on this drama are too emo for me, they don't wear black all the time but it has that feeling, but at last it is on the right track. Now either the stalker is going to pin JH against SY or who is really the cat killer, the aunt, SY she had that killer instinc in her eye or is it JH who's still on top of my list as the most disturb out of them three... the plot thickens...

Now that the stalker has been revealed, some questions in my mind:
- It's either she sees MY as a lover or she's his biological mom or something. If it's the former, it would not make much sense.
- If it's the latter, and she's obsessed with or extremely possessive of MY, then why is she sending all these photos of him with his eyes gouged out and with cryptic notes to random people? if she really loves him, why would she want him to get hurt? perhaps she wants him to quit baseball so he can devote his life to her?
- Why the obsession with his eyes? Does she want him to go blind? But why?
I think it is just the way some people with mental problems turn into fans of someone to the point that they believe that they have a relationship with this person, hey think they have a personal conection when really there isn't anything there, (I have read some comments in soompi that really scare me), It is called Erotomania (you can google it) there have been really dangerous instances of this type of obsession, Mark David Chapman killed John Lennon after getting an autograph when they check his house he had all sorts of memorabilia of him, he even change his name to John Lennon, another one Hinckley almost killed the president of the US in name of actress Jodie Foster, to profess his love for her he killed tow people and wounded two including president Reagan, Foster never held another fan meeting or go out in public and lost all contact with fans for fear of it happenning again and the last one the fanclub president of singer Selena killed her on a motel in Texas when she lured her to the room she shot her and she die that day. It is dangerous when your obsession gets to this point. The thing with his eyes I think it is so he doesn't see another person only her, the beisball thing we need another clue into it but my guess is since he is famous it makes her feel important to serve him ...

OMG!!!! that lady's room reminded me of that baseball movie with Robert de Niro The Fan, he had a room just like hers... I liked ep 11 as we can see JH is going to leave on her own so you guys were all venting for no reason at all... I think that lady is not working alone, the plot thickens...

I just don't understand why EJ won't quit.
She should have some dignity and just leave those 2 crazy pair.

I don't know, but this is getting too pathetic.
She can't and it is not a matter of dignity but of continuation, if she quits what we have left is a drama between JH and MY but if she's still there, there's still a chance that something might happen to make MY change his mind, all she wants to do is to help him and if in the process she gets hurt she will take it but that is what real love is isn't it? well, at least in drama land cause in real life I would've kick him to the curve a long time ago, it might be that the way some writers do the scripts is a little bit hash for women but that is korean culture. It is funny when we are fans we forget that this is a tv show and a script has been written from the beginning and each episode depend on each other not like real life but like a drama and if we alter something it will go out of what has been proposed from the beginning, if they would've made it so she will show more dignity and leave what would happen? MY is too blinded by the "love" he has for JH so he would've never missed and look for EJ if they would have made it so he would be more into EJ by the time JH appeared then she could leave and MY would go and find her but that wasn't the case. I still believe that something is going to happen and make MY go to EJ because if JH was the lead actress she came into the show too late just have patience we still have six more episodes to go.

Did writers think that putting a 3rd wheel between OTP forever will get them higher than the highest rating...but sadly they got lowest rating with Jesica's entry. and they are still so stubborn giving her plot more attention and screentime to her.
I am just so pissed pissed off have nothing more to say....*angry*
I am feeling so sad for LSY that she was doing all her best for this role and in return what she is getting is a partial behavoiur. Still she is a fighter and she will prove herself at the end.
I'll keep on watching WR till the very end ir-respective of whatever happens during all this time just for LSY and I have to say thanks to WR production house for letting me know abt LSY as a good and cute actress.
I don't think that it is a new script I think that JH was supposed to last as long as she has been on the show they can't go and change the last episodes because they have contracts with these actresses and they have to change locations and that is invest more money on a failing drama, I believe we didn't know that JH was going to be in there for this long, as I see it either JH is the stalker and just before the wedding she is going to reveal herself as the stalker or LSY role was always the second lead just like CSW in the drama bodyguard, he ends up with another assignment after capturing the guy, well I don't remember too clearly but I know he ends up by himself, so EJ will be by herself on a funny situation.
I feel bad for LDW though, after the success of Scent of a Woman he ends up in this messed up drama, but acting is like gambling you don't know how people is going to receive your work till you finish it.

If this drama needed a chipmunk I would say she fits perfect but her annoying voice, and her bad acting is killing the drama. She can't cry, she can't act a scene where she needed to make people care to what happened to her was poorly portray. Seriously there wasn't anyone better available for this role. I do have a problem with idols that try to get over just because people think they are cute. Maybe she is good in pictures but next time, do me a favor and put her on a silent movie or silent drama, my head is going to explode if I hear her again.

If any of you have access to viki subs ep 10 is actually not bad at all. Yes I know what we are all moaning and griping about. But if you see the subbed conversation the OTP loveline is actually moving forward- not in a romantic sense but this writer doesn't jump the gun. No, I mean the feelings on both side are converging. It's just the other side ( Moo Yeol ) is still stuck in Our First Love Train Station.

Incarnadine- MY is turning out not so bad considering he was pretty unlikeable in the beginning. He's kind of sweet. The writer must still be making him consistent because he is pretty much like some athletes I know- pretty, talented, has good skills but needs a hammer to the head because they are or can be dense. Like you know it needs to be SHOVED in front of their faces for them to notice some facts. Haha. Not bagging athletes since I used to play sports competitively
( don't laugh lupita this is before viki and KD) and MY is pretty much what I expect what his character to be like. After all he is not written up as like the No 1 genius in law or medicine or some industry chaebol is he?
I do know they are total saps when they fall in love and try the romance route. I would just about die or cringe and can't watch if he suddenly becomes romantic towards EJ. Oh man... we can but live in hope.
Is exactly what I said before this episode was actually the proof for us (he is so in denial that it would take some voltage to bring him to reality) so what I was saying this is proof that MY is in love with EJ the way he ran when that guy was about to hit her was priceless that and the fact that he misses her, I keep on thinking on MNIKSS, I don't know but it kinda reminds me of the same situation and I know it will happen in the same way as in that one. I think the stalker surely is taking long to be discover but if it is good scripted I don't care how long it takes. As far as MY and EJ I just hope they don't do what they did in partner, no kisses or I just hope they don't just leave the relationship as bodyguard and client, then I would scream, it happened to CSW in Bodyguard, no love for him... I hated it back then and I will hate if it happens here too. We just have to wait for next week episode it will be exciting now that the stalker went from just a nut sending letters and disturbing pictures to full blown wacko... Talking about disturbing what is with Jessica's character and the bitting thing, she left her teeth imprinted on poor wookie's hand and she does it to everyone, really creepy.

For what I saw in the episode I think that MY can't believe that EJ loves him so he just dismisses her feelings as for EJ I kinda understand her a little, she was a tomboy and have never been deeply in love and now when she is finally in love, he doesn't love her back so of course the feeling is too overwhelming and since it is a comedy it is exagerated a little bit, is her first heartbreak so she has to get over it. MY asking her to protect his girl, I hated at the beginning but it makes sense, EJ is the stronger female he knows and he doesn't want a guy guarding his gf, that plus he knows that EJ is loyal, she has protected him so much so he knows she will guard JH with all her might. I hate the idea that he never took into consideration that EJ might get hurt in the process but that is guys to you, insensitive and really clueless, they only see one way so to him JH is important. What I think he is going to realize soon I hope is that everything is in the past, he used to love her, everything are only memories so he will move on. Now my theory about the stalker was so firm on that it was a baseball player but I beginning to believe it was JH who did all of this, the cat scene was very suspicious and I read some people say why leave a cat loose, in my building people do it all the time, I hate those cats they play at the courtyard and they get into peoples garbage so it is possible that it got out but JH pass to the front of the line as the stalker and now she is going to be with EJ all the time and she might do something to her, just a theory. My biggest problem is that with all the romantic comedies they waste so much time that the mystery turns out to be bigger in our heads than in the writer's and it just turns out to be a stupid little thing that you wonder why we devoted so much time to make theories about it. To me today's episode was a filler because Jessica was in NY so they rush the script since she wasn't going to be there to film more scenes, pure waste of time and they are going to have to rush the ending and the mystery.

I saw the preview for episode 10 and I got a thought what if JH ran out of the apartment because MY call her by EJ's name, I think that is what happened, only a couple of hours to find out what happened... This is why I don't like to come to soompi to read and talk about a drama because I get obsess over it, now I want to be on episode 3 so at least I would have 6 episodes to go till next week.. I was fine and I had to lose my will power,

Hi i just wanted to say i agree with you the last scene was creepy, i only hope that we will get some clues who is the bad guy. I think that the he could be the old ajumma, because did you see her reaction when she found the lipstick stain on the glass, she was not happy at all.
I don't know why but I got the feeling that the kissing scene was only in EJ's imagination, because she saw the wine and etc, and thats why we got the scene with her doing sit ups after it or maybe its me who wants that to be so
if you think about it don't you think that MY and JH were too normal with each other the next day as if nothing happend?I am so sorry for EJ if i am getting it right, she thinks that they got engaged and when she said to MY formally goodbye i think she quits her job as MY bodyguard, but I am not fluent in Korean so I could be wrong.
No the stalker is not the aunt because the hands are too big to be a woman also he has a blister on his index finger and all the guys I know that play baseball and are pitchers or catchers have the same blister on that finger or the right hand so it has to be a current player or someone that was a player, also the kiss is just your wishful thinking because JH had the ring on so it happened... EJ is leaving him so he will go looking for her just like she did for him, he has feelings for her he doesn't know what type of feelings but he has them we can see in the elevator he couldn't touch her hair and that is the first clue when you don't have any romantic feelings for someone you are more at ease and he was shy and he was staring at her and plus he couldn's sleep thinking about what she says, just cheer up the big revelation is coming.

I am staying out of OT for the next several days till you guys calm down. Too depressed to even summarize. SIGH. There better be a change in plot tomorrow. Because do 2nd leads have so much air time when the series is only halfway through? Because MY had hardly air time today.
LUPITA!!! I don't like MY today and am only hanging on because of Wookie. I am pretty sure I am and will be steamed when I sort out the subs tomorrow. GRRRRR..... the viki thread has even more vitriolic comments about just ep 9's preview alone. Today it's going to explode.
I can understand the need for angst it happens all the time in KD.What I can't take is that they wrote MY as just hearing the confession then doing whatever couple things- and not even feeling bad for EJ. He keeps asking her what's wrong. Dude you dumb? Actually not dumb he's dense. Nuff said.
Like I said before this episode had to be there either now or later so it is better that we watch it at episode 9 and not 12 or 13 this way he will break up with JH and he will realize what he feels for EJ sooner, the only problem is that EJ will be suffering for a while but then it is revenge time. I think he is going to go bonkers with jealousy when she is out with someone else or when he realize that someone else is interested in her and he might lose her. The only thing is that she has to resign and leave him alone, he will feel the emptiness once she is out of his life, just hang in there it will be over in a couple of episodes, it happened to me with Scent of a Woman, I still can't watch episode 12 at all. I skip it everytime I rewatch. He is dense, but he didn't even like her from the beginning, to him she was and is just someone that works for him and someone that is always there so why would he mind her confession or her feelings... We can apply the saying "You never know what you have till you lose it" to him. I am about to watch episode 9 I hope I don't change my mind after I do.

I saw the episode and it was sad not over the top sad but it was, poor EJ that is why women can't fall in love first because guys are slower to catch up to your feelings, it is best if men fall first. She has to leave but we got another clue as to who the stalker is, he has a blister on his index finger that comes from throwing the ball, like pitchers or catchers, so he is or was a baseball player and definetely it is not a girl...

It is weird I am watching The Late Show and they just announce the presentation of Girls Generation on David Letterman so then Jessica is going to be in only one episode or did she finish and left or she is coming back next week because they said they will be on another show tomorrow morning or she didn't travel with them... Someone knows what is going to happen to her character...

I think that LSY is good but to call her superb is a little more a fan calling her that I guess, this is her first time as the lead actress, but as a comedian her timing is still off, she is doing a good job making some people laugh but in my opinion her facial expressions are annoying, and that hunchback and the way that she walks bothers me, is the reason why I hated my girl, LDH couldn't stand straight even if her life depended on it, but when LSY is acting serious or not trying too hard to be funny she is good and is what keeps me watching I just skip the parts that bother me, (disclaimer

Man it sucks I am live streaming ep 9 and hope the kiss is at the beginning or middle of the episode and not the end. I've never been so happy to read that SNSD has left for the US. At least I know they would have filmed her scenes earlier. So hopefully not many scenes of JH.
eight years apart? that's nothin only a change of skin, (supposedly we shed all our skin on 7 years intervals) so nothing, my brother in law is 8 years older than my sister and my sister in law is 8 years older than my brother, that is funny of course neither one of the guys look like LDW.... So the verdict is..., she can't kiss a hot man like our wookie, he is too handsome and she must feel shy... cross my fingers it was only one and that is it.

I don't mind episode 9 because after all this is a romantic comedy and there has to be some pain with romance, since it might be cliche, but the premise of all romantic comedies as a writing genre is that love conquers all. Now the kiss and all of his lovey dovey day with JH will teach EJ what real love is because right now she just likes him, she is not in love with him and there's a difference there. How do you know what real love is? through pain. And for MY how he is going to know that the longing he had for his ex wasn't just that and not real love, well by having both of them there he is going to know that the only thing between his ex and him are memories and what he has with EJ is real... so I think that ep 10 or 11 are going to be better because he is going to dump JH and go for EJ.

Please someone try to answer how to get the effect from my post 5178 it is not a drawing but a photo, my teacher blow it up and we came to that conclusion and I've seen several photos on tumblr with the same effect but I ask everywhere and noone knows or can't replicate, my teacher who is a fan of photoshop tried and gave up he said tell the person to tutor me on how to do it because I tried everything I know and can't do it, so he gave me his version but is not what I wanted. Thanks...

Trying to use topaz the way Sallyen suggested with adjust and clean I think I found the settings to do the pic I needed help with, you guys are amazing, I didn't get it just like the way they did the original but I got my semisketch almost perfect, thanks in any case I will continue tweeking the settings to see if I can get the results I wanted, thanks this is a very useful forum, this reminds me of the saying it is not the destination but the journey trying to go one way I found the answer to something else, now I will try to get the crisp result of Sallyen example, who knows maybe I discover something else I like.

I don't think there is a conection other than the lady that works for MY knows his grandmother and that is how she find out about his hate for MY and people like him cause he hates people with money or that make money with no effort and his encounter with DA I think DA misunderstood the whole thing, he thought she was trying to frame him or something and he was trying to get the truth out of her, scary you bet but still something is missing, and remember when the lady was with the grandma she asked her does your grandson knows me? and she said no he is in his own world or something and then he turned around and saw her but it seems it was the first time he saw her, so we still need more clues but I don't think the lady is the scary stalker just the one that is infatuated by him... There has to be more than one in the story...
Maybe I am wrong and seeing too much into this.
