Just kidding. After the horse dung fest that was Revolutionary Sisters, this is a breath of fresh air.
Something happened to him after his wife died you remember how sweet spoken he was to the girl trying to help her after he run over her and hurt her knee to get her back home and giving her advice to be careful. They let us see the sweet character he was before his wife died and the harsh character he became after she died

Love this drama and all the characters. I usually watch these when they are over but this is the first one I'm watching while it's on in a while.
Looking forward to seeing how the main couple get through all the land mines they will have to go through to get to the end.After 8 episodes, I feel the writers have done a good job laying out all the stories that will be revealed.
I don't think there will be enough tears for the main couple when it's revealed Se Ra connived her way into getting her son adopted to the main rich family. Anna has a work cut out for herself to be accepted by DD when what she has done gets found out by DD. But I love the actress that plays Anna. The fact that she decided to take this role on makes me believe the writers will or do a good job with this characters.
I don't mind all the extra older ladies. These are the characters older generation of Koreans like to watch. And they like that style of comedy and acting. I quite like Se Ra's mothers acting. Very different from her usual roles, so is the ML's step mother. That's really acting out of a typical mother role I've seen her play.
Besides, they would have hard time filling 50 episodes without all these extra characters and I've seen extras much worse than these legendary actors they've gathered here. Also these extra characters will help carry the story line in important ways too.
Bottom line, I am liking this weekend drama, a lot.
I’m 76 years old and I sure don’t like the older women screaming and hollering one would have been enough. Sorry but they just get on my nerves I have to fast forward them.

Some are saying DanDan is rude and disrespectful, but respect is something to be earned. I do feel bad that she had a falling out with her father, who truly loves her, but supports his wife out of gratitude.
Dan Dan is not rude it’s just what she has had to put up with growing up and trying to make something of herself and out there helping while the stepmom and son lazy around and scamming money away and the last draw with Dan Dan was losing the money and home. Dan Dan was just to young for all that and her dad never said a word to stepmom and son for what they did I really think Dan Dan deserves a right to have an attitude. Seems like she is her happiest is with her new family

Did he not understand why her dad turned his resignation in good grief he runs a company. Now don’t get me wrong I love him but at that one point he broke my heart. Lol he will have to do something great to bring my heart joy again

Not that I'm excusing her inexcusable reasoning but from what I watched this is the impression I got. She may also be trying to save the rest of her family from any further divine retribution.
While I was watching that I was struck by how cognizant Si Eun was of her state of undress and her robe threatening to slip off and her general state of disorientation and disturbing mental condition. Much as it made me grind my teeth it demonstrated the empathetic response Si Eun had and her inability to turn away the woman that ruined her marriage. In my book that made her a truly kind person, yes it may come across as totally doormat like but I think Si Eun has a very good soul. To her credit only a very cold person would not have reacted to at least cover her up. She went that extra step and hugged her.
I think Si Eun was quite horrified by what she saw Ga Bin had been reduced to. In her position most would be gleeful for the payback but Si Eun was feeling terribly sorry for her. I will not put her down and call her stupid for helping the woman that wrecked her family because had she turned her away I believe Si Eun would not have been able to live with that.

So no pity from me like this writer wants us to pity the mistresses. I’m not going any further with this silly stuff it’s just so silly not wasting any more of my time when there is so many more to watch

Lol not when it is costing parents money at the rate he is going his parents will go bankrupt. Yes it’s just a drama and at my age I can take all kinds of them but when it comes to where they don’t make much since and don’t understand why they didn’t have the mistresses as the leads they got more time

I didn't say she's wrong by having that "I can do whatever I think is right" personality. She is who she is. How can we change someone's personality right, unless that person change it herself/himself.
But then.... he met a woman that can accept his "baby-ness" personality as he is.

Just like @Gumiho said, he didn't have the attentions to cheat at the first place.. But yeahhh, as time goes by, he found the comfort in her and then "seems" fell in love with her. Yes, he definitely WRONG to cheat, he just so wrong because me too, want him to stands firm to get the divorce before he fell so deeply "in love", slept & knocked up that old mistress of his. But just like I mentioned before, he loves the attentions & the affections from his woman. BHR seems didn't give him all the attentions and the affections that he wanted, so that's why he changed his heart.
side note : I just analyzed him based on what writer-nim have painted his character.
And as a conclusion, they shouldn't be married to each other. Their marriage is doom and ruin once they didn't want & can't tolerate as well as fail to understand with each other personalities.
So now we are at the end and we see what his wife put up with what kind of man child he is. From the beginning till the end we see 4 women in his life. Woman before his wife, wife, mistress, and marriage to the other mistress guess it’s ok as long as his parents pays him out of his problems

I own and still work in my beauty shop and over the last 45 years I have seen and heard a lot. People love to vent to their Hair dressers and we listen but I don’t give advice lol. It’s sad when they use me to vent to about their lives I will say it’s mostly all been about their husbands cheating. Most of the time my men customers don’t never talk about problems but I know what is going on. I just know some people don’t need to marry each other and why they did don’t know guess it was lust

1) Dong Mi (the stepmom) will pay for her husband's murder. Probably in a horrific way.
