  10. Yoon Hyun Soo Catches Romantic Vibes Between Cha Eun Woo And Park Gyu Young In “A Good Day To Be A Dog” MBC’s “A Good Day to Be a Dog” has unveiled new stills ahead of tonight’s broadcast! Based on a webtoon, “A Good Day to Be a Dog” is a fantasy romance drama about Han Hae Na (Park Gyu Young), a woman who is cursed to transform into a dog when she kisses a man. However, the only person who can undo her curse is her colleague Jin Seo Won (ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo), who is afraid of dogs due to a traumatic event he can no longer remember. Spoilers Previously, Hae Na used her curse which turns her into Gae Na (dog + Hae Na) every night to help Seo Won, who almost fell into a trap. Seo Won also saved Hae Na, who was in danger during the school trip, and they slowly became more special to one another. The newly released stills capture Cha Seo Won, Han Hae Na, and Seo Won’s nephew Choi Yool (Yoon Hyun Soo) hanging out outside the school. They play games at the arcade and take pictures at a photo booth together. Yool notices the romantic vibes between Seo Won and Hae Na. Watching the two, Yool scratches his head as if he does not know how to react in this situation. In another set of stills, Hae Na celebrates Seo Won’s birthday wholeheartedly with a round of applause. Seo Won’s affectionate gaze at Hae Na gives a hint that his feelings toward her are deepening as they spend more time together. Anticipation is high for whether Hae Na will be able to confess to Seo Won about her curse on this day. Episode 7 of “A Good Day to Be a Dog” airs on November 22 at 9 p.m. KST. 14. Ji Chang Wook And Shin Hye Sun Find Their Way Back To Each Other In New “Welcome To Samdalri” Posters JTBC has released a new set of posters for its upcoming drama “Welcome to Samdalri”! Helmed by “When the Camellia Blooms” director Cha Young Hoon, “Welcome to Samdalri” is a romance drama starring Ji Chang Wook as Jo Yong Pil, a man who has faithfully stayed in his hometown on Jeju Island all his life in order to protect its residents. Shin Hye Sun will star as Jo Sam Dal, who grew up together with Jo Yong Pil as his close childhood friend. In his character poster, Yong Pil wears a sunny smile as he welcomes his ex-girlfriend Sam Dal back to their hometown after many years. While Sam Dal’s personal mission was to get out of their small town and make it big in Seoul, Yong Pil’s dream was to stay in Samdalri and protect it. As a warm, caring person who takes great care of the elderly villagers in their town, Yong Pil is the life of every party in Samdalri. His poster’s caption reads, “You who have returned to me, welcome back.” Unlike Yong Pil, who was content to remain in their hometown, Sam Dal moved to Seoul in order to chase her dream of becoming a big-time photographer. After years of hard work, Sam Dal succeeded and made it to the top under the new name Jo Eun Hye. However, when everything’s she worked so hard to build comes crashing down in the blink of an eye, she is forced to return to Samdalri. Although Sam Dal initially expects to be unhappy after moving back to Samdalri, she unexpectedly finds comfort and inner peace in her hometown—and after healing by Yong Pil’s side, she finds the strength to start anew. In her poster’s caption, she declares, “I’ve returned to you.” A final poster captures former couple Yong Pil and Sam Dal reuniting eight years after they last spoke. As they meet once again with nervous smiles, the once inseparable besties and exes seem to have put their painful breakup behind them. Although they have a complicated history, the poster’s caption playfully hints at the possibility of Yong Pil and Sam Dal rekindling their romance, reading, “Long time no see, crazy person that I once loved.” “Welcome to Samdalri” will premiere on December 2 at 10:30 p.m. KST. 16. Song Kang And Kim Yoo Jung Dish On “My Demon” + Whether They’d Accept An Offer From The Devil In a recent interview and pictorial for Elle Korea magazine, Song Kang and Kim Yoo Jung talked about their upcoming drama “My Demon”! “My Demon” is a new fantasy rom-com about the contractual marriage between Do Do Hee, a demon-like chaebol heiress who doesn’t trust anyone (played by Kim Yoo Jung), and Jung Gu Won, an actual demon who unexpectedly loses his powers (played by Song Kang). For centuries, Jung Gu Won has enjoyed eternal life by making dangerous yet enticing deals with humans who put their souls on their line to escape their hellish realities. However, after over 200 years of a relaxing life at the top of the food chain, Jung Gu Won suddenly finds himself in peril when Do Do Hee inadvertently “steals” his powers in the blink of an eye. In order to prevent his own demise, the now powerless demon winds up having to follow Do Do Hee around and protect her as he tries to figure out how to get his abilities back. Reflecting on her approach to her character, Kim Yoo Jung remarked, “In terms of both her personality and her background, Do Do Hee is different in many ways from the characters I’ve played up until now. However, I didn’t want to force anything unnatural because of that [in terms of my acting]. Rather, I tried to move freely within the character. Because [Do Do Hee] is a character that’s extremely true to her emotions, the spectrum of feelings I portrayed was very broad.” Meanwhile, Song Kang confessed that he had struggled with certain aspects of his role. “When I read the script, I thought that the comedic elements were very strong,” he said. “But once we started acting, there were a lot of difficult aspects [to the character], such as the way his tone of voice is overflowing with confidence. Gu Won is a character who truly loves himself a lot.” When asked what he would do if he received an offer from the devil, Song Kang replied, “I’m someone who finds happiness in the little things, so I don’t think I’d accept any offer. Waking up in the morning and going to the gym, then coming back and reading a book while taking a bath. I find happiness in those kinds of things.” Finally, Kim Yoo Jung revealed her current hobbies by sharing, “I’ve recently gotten really into brain science, so I’ve been watching a lot of videos about it. I’ve also been looking for and reading books that explain the brain and genes in a scientific way.” “My Demon” will premiere on November 24 at 10 p.m. KST.
