hello chinngus how is everyone!! i think the weekend episodes got us all too emotionally drained to post huh, so today's bts is really is a nice gift to lighten our hearts
so about that score tally... at this point it looks like KSH's back to 0 HAHAHHA but we cant forget his proud moment of wrapping up SYJ in a jacket so fine...

also from the preview, seeing mangtae hanging with a noose around his neck, and that last scene of them looking so sad at the beach gives this premonition... and honestly it's fitting too, that they heal properly on their own first before they fully come together but wah that implies a (hopefully temporary) goodbye and i just know it's gonna break our hearts. SO PLS YES LET US SEE THEM KISS ALREADY!

i just finished rewatching the episode and some scenes from the preview (pictures below) really jumped out at me. they echo this ^ statement and the thought i know most of us have but want to avoid for now

second, if u look closely, although i was expecting the beach scene to be happy and romantic, there's so much sadness and pain in their eyes in these clips, it reminds me of a goodbye almost

what do you guys think abt the head nurse's interaction with ST in ep 8?
i had this thought while watching that scene that perhaps she could be a good match for him (i.e. a caregiver too, patient and stern), but maybe that's just my wishful thinking too, hoping that KT wouldnt be the one taking care of him their whole lives ~
of course, i still loathe the head nurse for how she totally disregards the attacks against MY in the hospital premises (twice now!!), but she seemed good to ST. did she take him to see flowers bec of an instruction from the director to help ST face his fear of butterflies? or something else? who knows, anything can still happen at this point!! but im just throwing thoughts around here guys, feel free to share your takes on it!

HOW'S EVERYONE AFTER EPISODE 8 WERE YOUR HEARTS SMILING LIKE CRAZY TOO :((( it was a cosiderably light episode methinks but something we def. needed!!! soooo many favorite scenes:
Spoiler- from the very first minutes, the "good for you im so proud of you" with the head pat scene and their smiles MYGOD and KT's eyes there were like "ohno im in so much trouble" – which totally foreshadows his slow acceptance of his feelings throughout the episode, like it's surreal but WE'RE FINALLY HERE HE'S NO LONGER IGNORING HIS FEELINGS AND GODDAMN HE'S RLY FALLING HARD FOR MY!!!
- MY bringing KT to the car and seeing him off. just married couple things ~
- how KT couldn't take his eyes off the side mirror reflecting MY as he was driving away
- KT at the hospital sitting down on the bench overlooking the sea and thinking abt MY and his feelings for her , i.e. "i must be crazy" (coincidence or not: isnt this the same bench MY was sitting on while waiting for KT to come back after talking with the director when he got suspended? she seemed lost in thought in that scene too, and considering her "love" realization after her class, perhaps she was reflecting abt KT and her feelings for him too?)
- MY holding out an umbrella for KT :(((
- JEALOUS AND IN-DENIAL KT hahahaha his whining at Mr. Lee got me cracking up so much too
- MY and ST's fight over MT lol acting geniuses (I NEED THE BTS OF THIS SCENE)
- the whole scene with MY and KT on the couch, esp MY's teasing and blowing on KT's ear, plus the longing in KT's eyes and hands (!!) when he was looking over MY as she was sleeping and he shyly brushed his hand over hers (UGH IM SO SOFT RN)
- KT's thoughts going immediately to MY as he listened to the patient (forgot his name sorry) describing his feelings for a-reum
- KT's unadulterated rage over seeing someone hit MY !!! (such a pivotal moment of him just letting his feelings take over; no more suppression)
- KT walking the halls of the hospital after he got suspended, smiling and his thoughts flashing back to when MY stabbed him with a knife (first time he saw her again in years, realized he's still not over her? and chose to avoid these realizations altogether?), MY saying he's like a kid who wanted to be loved (and maybe him finally allowing himself to be loved and to love back ~ (or to start to, at least)), and MY offering to run away with him––which made him more excitedly run to her to take her up on that offer
the past episodes have highlighted how KT has been helping MY heal, but i just love how this scene highlights MY's influence in KT's healing too; she's helping him set himself free ~
^ hid it in case there are some people here who havent watched yet and dont want to be spoiled. but for those who got to watch it already, do u guys agree??? any favorite moments i missed? haha sorry for the word vomit though, those are my unflitered thoughts that i just wanted to let out haha
also: given that the title of ep 8 is "Beauty and the Beast," who do u guys think represents 'Beauty' and 'Beast' between KT and MY? initially i thought it's obviously Beauty = MY, Beast = KT bec she's the girl he's the guy or whatever. but after listening to areum's narration in the drama, it makes sense too that Beauty = KT, Beast = MY given that MY is the one who was alone in a castle, and KT's 'love' has softened her up. ALTHOUGH, following that train of thought, both of them have been key towards each other's healing thus far so it could also be an either/or case, noh?

hello luvs i just finished backreading, wasn't able to check-in since friday. anyway it's always heartwarming to read posts here and see how many others appreciate this couple, they are truly something else
just wanted to manifest too how much i loved the progress in their relationship in episode 7!!!!!! it was so wholesome, i almost didn't mind that there wasn't any kiss scene. ALMOST.
so looking forward to seeing them grow and heal together some more in tonight's episoooode!!!!

BY THE WAY, have you guys seen the english lyrics of the new OST, "My Tale" ? for those who haven't, I found a video with good subs (turn on CC) below! the song really hits different when you know what it means. it speaks a lot abt KT's feelings I think, especially for the ending scene of ep7, wherein this song was playing too, and he said "Okay, I won't leave."

to add to this, I also watched an interview of SYJ with lee joon-gi for Lawless Lawyer, and while a lot of people also shipped them from that drama, implying that their chemistry on the show was also good (I have no input on this since I didn't watch it), in the interview–comparing it with her interviews with KSH–it's just not the same.
i mean SYJ was also very comfortable and playful around LJG, which I guess we can attribute to her personality quirks by now since she is also the same way with KSH but idk. same with what @midflight said, there's just really something special between KSH and SYJ. (or u know, we can all just be rly biased too considering that this is a shippers' thread HAHA)

ahhhh this thought makes my heart flutter too
but thinking about it, it could actually be a great ending for the drama to show a glimpse of MY and KT having a family and being good parents and raising their children well, as a juxtaposition to the troublesome upbringing they both had. just imagine the castle with little moonmoon darlings running around OMO -

OMO! i hope he kisses her senseless as a way of apologizing for calling MY a one time event hmp! she cant let him off that easy! or now that i think abt it...maybe the legendary scene might have something to do with why KT has a bloody nose and a bruise on his cheek in the preview? and if it was MY behind those... KT probably deserved it lol. they can make out afterwards
