I actually have been wondering about this for quite a while haha.. probably because I'm really excited to see him as WuXie, I hope he gets good costars. Do they usually announce the cast this close to filming?
And yeah I think I saw somewhere that he usually films back to back, very close schedule, like finish one drama, start on the next one the very next week. I do hope he gets some quality rest, but he seems like he's enjoying himself. I've seen it, for some people, they're happiest when they're working probably because it's what they like most. Although I do hope he gets to travel soon, he seems to like travelling a lot too haha..

I saw some update that our ZYL still manage to enjoy his beloved hot pot in Australia haha~ the hotpot maniac lol. It's adorable really. Sorry I can't post the pictures cuz I'm a noob. I'll try and learn tho ^^"
Btw, the filming for Lost Tomb Reboot is supposed to start in October right? Does anyone know when they're going to announce any of the other cast besides ZYL?

Woah they all posted on their weibo? That's good I'm really glad! It's great if people are openly showing their support for him. With that official apology, I'm ready to put this issue behind me, although it is justified if fans are still mad.
Here's hoping ZYL gets to explore islands like he wanted to, and get a lot of beach time in Australia, and comes back refreshed and unaffected by all this nonsense.

Oh my God he looks so lovely with kids! That is so adorable~ I remember this one interview he was asked whether he prefers baby boy or girl, and he said both are good. I mean it's a simple answer but the way he puts it, it's really nice ^^
And I agree that he looks better with short hair but that could just be my bias cuz I prefer guys with short hair haha but all looks good on him. I like his style, simple but neat and sophisticated.

This is awful! Saying these kinds of things on a live broadcast, not just their eyes, something is definitely wrong with their brain, hence their terrible taste and judgment. That part about plastic surgery though is totally slander, that is so messed up!!
@siobhanne is right though I guess it's best to stay calm and see how they sort out this mess. His fans are there for him anyway, we're not going anywhere. I just hope nothing goes badly for him because of this and that just that company and their staff get affected due their irresponsible behaviour. Although I have no idea how these things are dealt with in China.. but his image wouldn't change right, it's not like he did anything wrong on his side.
Ugh really, gossiping on live broadcast is bad enough, talking badly about their own spokesperson

to know more about Zhu Yilong and follow his work. He is one of the most amazing actors I've ever seen. After I watched Guardian, I watched his other works and became even more amazed at how wonderfully he transforms himself into his character! Really I think he's
a gem of an actor that is really hard to come by.
That being said though, I watched the interview where he said he admires Johnny Depp and I cringed hard. Above all, I can't stand woman
beaters, I think these types of people are the worst. However, I do understand why one would admire his work, he is a really good actor who's great at bringing his characters to life too, although right now he's pretty much just Captain Jack Sparrow. But our Ju Laoshi won't turn out like that hopefully, he's a kind spirit and I hope he stays like this. Saw the video where he went out of his way to greet the fans, he's really sweet~

I would like to follow more of Ju Laoshi's work and hope he keeps getting great projects and star in a film like he wanted to! Can't wait to see him play Wu Xie!!! Okay, trying to suppress my inner anti-capitalist : p At least the price is only 30€, fairly normal range for city guides I guess. Although normally they come with way more pictures on sturdier paper. But it's fine, suppressing myself, suppressing myself, everything's fine.

Oh that was the director? I noticed that as well haha, but I don't know who the person was, I just kept noticing him around zhu yilong in pics and bts vids and I wondered whether he was his manager or another actor in the drama he happens to be close with.
I'm glad to know that directors are easily fond of him, the adorable guy, haha, perhaps this would help him get better projects ><
On a side note, I'm almost done watching his new drama and really, the plot goes round and round it makes me dizzy I almost quit it, but I do like luo fusheng and also his costar an yuexi is a great actress so I stuck around. I have to say though, I love his wardrobe in the latter episodes, nice colors, and they really bring out his eyes.
Talking about which, I notice his eyes are a very light color but I can't be really certain what color they are because sometimes they almost look green? I don't know haha

@katthy I'm glad it works! haha.. Yeah I personally prefer the original ending too, the one that they aired. It's very sad, but it had a sense of closure? and I felt satisfied with it. And also the line that ShenWei said, something about we might've gone through a lot of mess, but at least our choices were meaningful. It gives me a sense of reassurance, knowing that they'll meet and sacrifice themselves again, but it would never be for naught and makes for a meaningful ending. This is my personal opinion tho haha.

A year? Whoa he has a lot of self restraint haha, my antsy hands would keep picking at this pimple that won't go away. But he seems to be good at keeping his hands off his face (unlike me, bad habit really, good for him). I didn't know it has been that long though, you hardly notice it in any of his dramas. Anyway, I hope all goes well with the removal and he doesn't have to worry about it anymore haha.
I agree with you, I think it's wise of him to take more projects and bolder characters at this time of his career, it might leave a lasting impression on people so that he can get better projects for the future and get to star in films like he wanted to. I personally think he suits more serious and mysterious characters rather than having just romantic plotlines, not because I don't like seeing him in a romantic drama, but because I think it's not displaying his charisma and vast expressions much. But really that's just me haha. It's good that he likes challenges and are trying all sorts of characters though, I hope all goes well for him.
