Hi, I didn't step by for a while... sorry life got in the way XD
I want to wish everyone an Happy New Year first of all
then... I just want to thanks for all the new intel about ZYL especially those regarding his performance on the new year's eve.... I got crazy with that performance.... I love him so much for his voice and skills with the piano... he's really more than just an amazing actor! I'm still listening him singing and playing the song, all day long LOL
I didn't know about his throat condition... and then watching the video where he was there on the piano waiting to start... OMG... so nervous... I can imagine his state of mind and heart... my poor man... he makes me cry...
I LOVE HIM SO SO MUCH!!!!

I'm so glad that Zhu Yilong finally starts to get awarded for his work, it was about time, after more than ten years of great acting, so happy and proud of him!!!

These last pictures of him as Wu Xie... geez!!! I'm so looking forward to see him in this role with that goatee LOLOL (even if I know that the wait will still be long)

All right... now I've to ask for some help with two interviews of his... please if someone that know or is cinese can have time and is kindly willing to make the translation, it would be so great... 'cause I'm really dying to know what he's saying...

The first one is about the drama "Granting You A Dream Like Life"

The second is about the drama "Royal Sister Returns" (that I didn't see yet)

Just saying... at the moment I'm watching "Border Town Prodigal" and dying over Fu Hong Xue

Just... I CAN'T imagine him doing a feminine role, with emasculate manners... or better, I wouldn't like to see him acting like that, not at all.... I would be good if he would play a gay role (I really love him in Guardian for exemple, I KNOW that was a Bromance BUT, yeah... I clearly saw the BL)... but not a feminine one... hope I explained myself

so I hope, despite all the support for him by fans that would like to see him in this kind of role (and the China censorship), that he'll never play such a role LOL sorry guys, SORRY ZYL!

Thanks for the info. I was hoping I could skip to ZYL's parts, watching a drama is really time consuming, especially if it doesn't hold interest. ZYL is superb though, so I can watch it just to see him be great. With Minglan and True Friend, I hope we can have his parts alone or at least these dramas get subbed quickly.

I'd like to point out that Granting You A Dreamlike Life is actually being translated by Viki and also watchable there, it's a work in progress thing... at the moment the episodes are up till ep 34 (I'm in the team to translate the serie in my native language ITA) AND I've watched the serie until episode 32. I just want to say that I'm actually enjoying the serie, probably I'm against the majority but I like it; it's far away from perfect but the story it's not so predictable, so it's quite intresting to me... plus... I've to say that I'm madly in love with Fusheng... for not to mention of HOW REALLY GREAT ZYL is in this role... superb indeed!!!

But I think that show worked on multiple levels, the child could also represent the inner growth or past troubles of the clown, and this is the part which could've been in this show. Or could be an inner innocence/strength of the clown.

yeah... to me it has been a pity that the end of the first show was similar to "Ugly" because... it would have been nice and reassuring to see Chou smile at the end... as if he finally understood of to be important for someone and also happy to have someone of whom to care about... but well... yes the sense of the show was delivered anyway

I don't know why but... this moment was one of those for which I've felt moved while I watched the short again yesterday... don't know... this trust toward the director, this professionality form ZYL... I saw him, I felt him so real... I can't exactly explain it... but I ended up in tears...

About the multiple levels... you're great with interpretations, the only one I thought about was just as if the little girl was somehow the representation of Chou's past... never thought of more levels!

I always imagined that Chou has run after the little girl to explain to her that her clown friend that looked after her is actually him... and so the reunion of the two...

this is my imaginary after the end... sorry but it will always remain this... I have my own interpretation too

EDIT: I finished watching it AGAIN with all the eng subs.... I LOVE IT EVERY TIME and now finally understanding exactly all the BTS... made me fall in love with it once again and more... I ended up in tears more then once... I can't help myself... I'm very very emotional about this show and ZYL performance and bts that's it
