    I understand that its difficult for them to see PMY romance another guy.  I am not even questioning the validity of their ship.  Its quite possible that PMY is indeed dating their bias.  But why make such preposterous claims!!! If she created good chemistry with KJW despite being committed to someone else, it just shows what an amazing actress she is.  Certain members of that group are immature and salty.  To appease their minds and apprehensions, they can go to any length.

    Thanks for your perspective.  We all have our own POVs and we should not be afraid to express it.  I apologize if my post somehow diminished the happy vibes of this forum.  I guess I was expecting PMY to actually say that she is going to miss SDM and the HPL team, she had fun shooting despite the difficult role, etc. etc. so that there wouldn't be any need to speculate.  But anyways, I did enjoy the show and I agree its best not to get carried away with the lives of the actual actors.  I loved and will continue to love SDM and RG.

     Yes she said that in her farewell video.  When WWWSK ended (I remember because I followed that drama as well), PMY uploaded not only her own pic, but also one with the ML and the PD as a fare well message, and she did say how she was so happy while shooting the drama because the atmosphere in the set was very congenial.  In contrast, here she did not post one pic as a farewell greeting, and even looked kind of unenthusiastic (to me) in the farewell video.  

     

    I know its silly to compare, but I am stating what I noticed.  I am not saying it means anything, but the observation is not completely incorrect.

    You are right and I thought so too.  but i guess, its also because she says in her farewell video that HPL was not easy to film.  Not sure what she meant by that; tight schedule maybe?

     I understand why you felt annoyed seeing that discussion. Me too but let's forget that stuff and enjoy good dramas and wish the best for the  actors/ actresses we admire. Audience are supposed to comment only on actors' work and not to spread stupid rumours which may make them feel uncomfortable. Good actors entertain us with good films, we give them fame and fortune. It's a win-win contract. But they have no obligation to become the people we expect. It's fun to ship a couple as a result of their movie's chemistry, but it will become toxic if people get obsessed about it and turn upset/disappointed and feel betrayed when the "couple" are not as imagined. Life is not a fairy tale which ends with the wedding of the prince and the beauty who live "happily ever after".  People date and break-up, get married and divorce all the time hehe... 


    I love the shipping thread of KJW and PMY because everyone seems to behave in a respectful way. It's natural to wish two beautiful people who played so well a couple in HPL to end up together. But we are in no way going to gossip up to 800 pages about them if we have no dating photos and their dating confirmation. If they date, I will be more than happy. If not I will continue supporting KJW and PMY in their next projects  because above all they are my favourite actors.

     

    Very well put and I whole-heartedly agree.  It is natural to form an affinity for a certain couple who are portrayed as ardent lovers.  If indeed they end up dating, thats great.  If not, then so be it.  But why be so obsessed?  As you said, life is not a fairy tale.  Its their job to convince us that they are in love.  But their obligation ends there.  They don''t owe us anything beyond that.

    Hello everyone,

     

    I'm having serious withdrawal symptoms and really struggling to move on! HPL and our Labit couple were so amazing.  This is the first show ever, for which I would reach late at work because I wanted to catch the raw version live.  I used to be a part of a certain shipper's forum because I was quite convinced that the dating news was correct.  Although I am no fan of the guy, I think he is good and I was just happy for PMY.  But ever since HPL started airing, that place became rather toxic.  Its one thing to root for a certain couple, but its rather sad when you spew nonsense when one of them pairs up with another actor in a show.  It started with how KJW behaved like an older brother to PMY, how he was not popular enough, how PMY looked uncomfortable being touched by him, etc. etc. I have since decided to not be a part of that community.  But today I made the mistake of paying them a casual visit and I was dumbfounded.  I fail to understand why they cannot just stick to shipping their couple.  If they have to critique HPL, they should come here and participate in a constructive discussion.  But instead, they trash HPL and pity PMY for having chosen to be a part of it.  Since, PMY has not posted a farewell message in her instagram, they seem convinced that she did not have a great experience as HPL failed to garner the kind of ratings that the other show did.  

     

    I'm not a shipper and its not my business to predict who will end up with whom, but I detest such myopic attitude and pettiness.  I hope we all continue to take delight in good stories and good performances.  Here's wishing to the success of PMY and KJW in their respective careers. Cheers!!!

The difference is that KJW is being open and never hide it while some might hide to cover their image (which is good and not wrong. LOL).

     

    I hope he at least refrains from smoking before the kissing scenes.  I’m sure PMY would appreciate that! :P

    Ryan and Deokmi were in the car together. Then Deokmi and Eungi were in front of the house. 

     

    PMY is super pretty... Idky her hair always looks perfect hahaha. I greeted her to tell her she worked hard  and she thanked me

     

     

    Kim Jaewook left earlier after finishing his scene with Deokmi. He just stayed in the set to discuss something and smoke. 

     

    Some fans, somehow, managed to get his signatures.

    just out out of curiosity, how much does KJW smoke? For example, does he chain smoke? I do think he looks cool with a cigarette, but I feel chain smoking can be so bad for one’s health.  Guess he is not perfect after all!

    I feel it’s not about showing skin per se, but to show more intimacy. In WWWSK, the consummation scene was much more elaborate. I’m not saying that it has to be equally elaborate, but when actors like PMY and KJW are involved, the audience expects more than this, especially when it’s on TVN. It’s possible that PMY/KJW were not comfortable with such intimate gestures, but the kissing scene in episode 9-10 made me believe otherwise.

    Has anyone noticed how the last kissing scene Ryan didn't put his hand in his pocket? That's because he's finally got nothing to hide from DeokMi :) It's exactly how someone in this thread has mention about the details behind this. 

     

    Tbh, the hand-in-the-pocket thing is so cool. KJW is undeniably cool, everyone says that. I don’t know if there is any meaning to it, but when shooting a kissing scene, if the hand is in the pocket, it does not block the camera’s line of sight, esp for long distance shots. For close up shots, he uses both his hands.

    Ryan is so so beautiful!!!! HPL ROCKS in my book.

    I watched this episode raw but understood the gist of it.  I really like RG and DM, but I miss the sexy Ryan.  I feel DM is left to do all the heavy lifting in the skinship moments.  I understand that RG’s ardor has cooled down because of the whole Lee Sol storyline, but I do miss the Ryan that would look at DM like she was the last woman on this earth.
