It's a very entertaining drama, I almost wish it was out during Halloween, it would have been the perfect show to binge watch.
There were many amazing characters but the one that stole my heart was Jung Jae Heon
Anyway, I'm ready for a second season!

Before the 2nd season starts I wanted to write what scares me, before all my hopes are crushed : I really hope Young Shin survives this season, I'm even more worried because we didn't see him that much in the trailers, so does that means it's the end for him ?!

Episode 2 was great and the ending was intense, it even made me cry during the forced separation between Eun Seom and Tan Ya .
Tan Ya : " Dream ! That's your name. Because you're my dream as well as Wahan's. "
I mean how beautiful is that
And yes I fear they won't end up together because it's a sad habit of the writers...

I just saw the first episode and I really liked it ! I don't understand all the criticism, it's just the first episode, for me it was a world building episode and it was even a little bit too fast for my taste. Then again people trash talk the drama before it even aired.
I'm glad this drama is something different from what we're used to watch. If this drama isn't for you then good, there's many other dramas out there for you !
Also the GoT comparison need to stop please.

I agree with you @choco milo, we should watch the drama first then judge it. I saw the negative comments too and I'm a bit sad because I love the writers' dramas. I know they're skilled and I trust them to create an interesting world with multidimentional characters.
June 1st can't come fast enough for me !

I really like the characters' posters, thank you @kimino for posting them here. Does someone know the meaning of the throne with the three bears in Ta Gon's poster ? And what kind of animal represent the satues in Tae Al Ha's poster ? Is there a meaning here too ?

Ta Gon and Taeilha are the characters I'm the most curious about but I'm sure they're all interesting in their own ways. I need to watch the drama to know if my first impression was the right one ^^.

I don't want to bring negativity but I wish people would stop comparing any new heroic fantasy tv shows with Game of Thrones. It's a popularity thing but popular isn't equal to good. For me it seems more similar to the Legend from MBC aka The Story of the First King's Four Gods.

I have to admit they look really good together
. Despite my love for Han Ji Min I was hesitant to start the drama because I wasn't sure it was for me (I prefer sageuk, fantasy or SF dramas) and I'm not the biggest fan of Nam Joo Hyuk, but after seeing gifs and this photoshoot I want to give this drama a shot.

@triplem Wow the Queen actress is really disliked, saying she doesn't look like a queen is a bit stupid because what did these people think rulers looked like? Supermodels?? It's a bit ridiculous...
And Bae Doo Na isn't liked too apparently: is there a controversy surounding her that I'm not aware of?

I just finished the drama and I can't wait for the second season (the cinematography
) but I wish the drama took a bit more time with its characters. I really enjoyed Seo Bi and Young Shin characters the most. Ryoo Seung Ryong played his role perfectly too.
I think it's the kind of drama I can recommend to people who don't watch kdramas.

@gm4queen Yes I saw them when I was searching for the Ghost Detective's mv (I always go hunt for mv when I finish a drama). I wish I could do the same or at least make gifs for them but I didn't learn yet (one day if I have less work). I'm thinking about posting the other mv I liked in the Ghost Detective thread...

I just saw Miss Baek and I can recommend it to everyone because it's a really good movie, the kind of movie that stays with you (I still feel like I'm going to burst into tears at any moment). And of course Han Ji Min deserved her award and I hope it opens new doors in her acting career. I'm so proud of her for this role
but I want to applaud the rest of the cast too, the writer and the filming crew.
