    Hello girls.. a quick visit to our NamJi house.. Hope everyone is doing good. Wish you all a very happy new year. I still can't believe we are in 2019 already.. Time flies too fast. Oppa will be discharged in less than 4

    months. Can't wait for his comeback. Also congratulations for completing another successful project. So proud to be part of this family..:wub:

    Gosh.. so our little party is attracting a lot of unwanted guests. These People really seem to have a lot of free time on their hand which they should be utilizing in analyzing their otp interactions instead of lurking in wrong thread "accidentally".  :smirk: It's a shipper's thread so stop being salty about what we are writing about "OUR" otp. These moments are reality accept it or not. Just because you are disappointed doesn't mean they are going to be changed. 

    It's so funny how these haters are also not ready to move on from jiji  just like us.

    I know I had an overdue homework not completed yet so yah...I am submitting it now. Hope you all will not find it too long winded... :)

    2018.09.11 - 2018.09.18
    One of the most memorable trip that I ever had......

     

    I decided to on embark on this trip  simply for 2 reasons which I believe people here can relate:
    - ShinHeung Military Academy (Wookie's Musical)
    - Hyunnie's Birthday


    Although there were many uncertainties and hesitation during the planning process, I'm glad that I made it for this trip and everything turn out well!!

    ShinHeung Military Academy
    This musical tells the stories of the a group of patriotic young people who fought and sacrificed their lives for the  freedom of Korea during the Japanese colonial period.
    Wookie plays the son of an anti-Japanese Confusion scholar who committed suicide after the promulagation of  the treaty of Japan's rule over Korea.
    KHN plays the servant of an Academy's founder and he is an orphan.
    The 2 of them became best friend in the academy and fought hard to realize their dreams.

     

    I was initially worried that I will not be able to understand that musical but I think after paying for 6 shows,  (yes...6 shows... *giggle*)

    it is not just about looking at handsome faces but I had also managed to understand the story and appreciate the musical.. 
    It was very touching and I teared every time when i watch it..

     

    Some quick thoughts of mine:
    1) After seeing both Wookie and KHN performing on stage, I must say that they really belong to the stage...
    When KHN touches you through the songs that he sings, Wookie's presence can be felt the moment he appear on stage.
    He steals all the attraction and make you focus on him. When he smile, you will smile, when he cry, you will cry too..
    His singing has improved alot and he is able to hit high notes which at times I was really worried that he will crack his voice but "phew', it did not happen... *giggle*

    2) Chemistry between the 2 of them was also the highlight of the musical. I think due to their previous collaboration and good relationship, they could show good rapport in this musical and every night, I will be anticipating what kind of adlib surprises they will give us.
    (PS:  I am really hoping to see them collaborate in a movie or drama after they discharge from army next year.)

    3) The songs and music
    Since it is a musical, there are many songs that are being delivered through the characters to tell you the story.
    Not only the 2 of them, Sungkyu and the rest of the casts did a good job as well. I am not too sure if it's because Sungkyu is from an idol group, his solo songs are rather upbeat (more suitable for dancing...haha) as compared to the others, but well, at least it blends in well too. There are many songs that I like but the most memorable one is still the confrontation duet that both Wookie and KHN delivered.
    I believe this is also one of the highlight of the musical.
    Many fans who watched them performed during "Thrill Me" was     really excited when they had a duet in this musical too and commented that this musical is actually their "love story....
    Both of them delivered it with much emotions and i could actually see tears in them too.
    (Awwww.... how i wish i could return to hear them sing this song again...)

     

     

     

    Operation 0917

    Other than the musical, the other highlight of my trip was "Operation 0917".
    Not only did i manage to complete the mission smoothly, 20180917 also became a day that I will never forget...
    Soop -> Glorious -> Sinsa

    Thank you to the hard work of the people here, we had prepared great gifts, cards and birthday cake to be delivered to Hyunnie within a period of short time.
    As I am in Seoul on the actual day, I was en-tasked with the final mission to make sure that the gift and cakes are delivered to Soop.
    Thus on this day, I actually woke up quite early to make sure that all the things that we had prepared and intact and I made my way to the cake shop 2 hours before the appointment time. (I am afraid that I will be lost and hinder the delivery timing...)
    When I reach the cake shop place, I was greeted by a nice lady who actually started making the cake at 5am in the morning!!
    It was real hard work but i think all of you have seen the final output and I must say it is really pretty.. 
    (just that i don' t have a chance to taste it..)

     

    I was initially busy taking pictures of our output so when the delivery ahjusshi arrived at 2.30pm (he is really punctual), things started to speed up because we target to reach Soop by 3pm so the cake owner, the delivery ahjusshi and me brought down all the stuff that needs to be delivered to the delivery van(including me) and off we are to Soop.

    When we arrive there, the ahjusshi thought that I wanted to take more photos of our gifts so he just drove off after putting all our gifts outside Soop doorway.
    I was a bit stunned because I don't think i can carry all the gift into the office by myself but luckily a staff who happens to return to the office helped me along the way and carry it to the office.
    I told them that it's Hyunnie's birthday today and these gifts are from her oversea fans.
    He said thank you and they will deliver it to her.
    As much as I hope to catch a glimpse of her at the office that day, I don't think she was in office that day...
    (It's ok..i will see her next time!! :)):D

     

     

    After my mission was completed, I decided to make my way to Glorious Entertainment as well since it is actually within walking distance.
    And also because after watching the musical, I really wanted to prepare some card and gift to give Wookie words of encouragement.
    So I made my way there, passed my gift to the person in charge (of course i do not expect to see him there too...)

     

     


    After completed my mission, I decided to end my trip (returning home on the next day)  to visit Sinsa which I had a pleasant encounter which until now... I still cannot forget and I don't think i will be able to forget....:heart:

     

    As much as I want to move on, I find myself  falling in deeper every time I return from Seoul. (From Jiscovery to Operation 0917)

    I don't know what will happen in the future but I treasure this moment that I having now.

    Most important of all, through Namji, I also gained friendship with the bunch of amazing people here!

    With the experience we had gained, I hope we have chance for the many other "Operation XXXX" that will happen in the future... ;);)

    Thanks for sharing this with us.. 0917 was definitely one memorable day not just for you but for all of us. Thanks for your hard work girl and thanks to all of them who were involved in this project. It was such a wonderful journey for us.. :heart:

    Wahh  you girls are amazing!! :o Seriously it's been a while since we have moved 2 pages in a day..

    Really miss those old days when we would spazz non stop about namji but well we all know real life is important too.:sweatingbullets:

    Just here to tell you girls that not going to jump this ship anytime soon especially after witnessing all those heart fluttering moments in dcut. 

    No matter how many months / years it takes for confirmation our love for namji is just increasing with each passing day, contrary to what haters think.. :P

    Loved your posts @luvforever and @MoonlightSerenadethat was a funny story but well we all are goners when it comes to namji.. 

     

    Right now just enjoying HDH and wookie's constant updates (thanks to his musical). Baby girl is doing amazing job in her drama as usual. Hope she is now enjoying her student Life. And our soldier is going to be back soon. Just 198 days more. :wub:

    Till then we all can enjoy rerun of SP and dcut and hope that someday our "20xx mission sk" turns into reality :D

    Happy first anniversary to our beautiful Namji heaven.. We were so scared of the draught season when our captain was about to enlist but our couple blessed us with so many hints that we are still here spazzing non-stop.

     

    We are lucky shippers cause everything came to us at the right time just like our otp.. His enlistment, his vacations, her drama, the dcut, her recent photoshoot, his army musical audition... All these events helped us going strong even after his enlistment and before we knew it, we were already halfway through.. Just a few more months and our captain will be back..  

     

    Since everyone has already shared beautiful images and gifs bringing back memories of our couple, I am just going to thank you all for keeping this thread alive.Really happy to be part of this goner family.. Love you all!! :wub:

    Last week as I was talking to my co-worker, none of those thoughts has ever crossed my mind, so it’s up to viewers to be the judge.  I do have to make note that the PD’s laugh has really stolen my heart!  I love the sound of his laughter.  It’s so infectious.

    After reading all those analysis i was wondering if they r just hard-working co- actors who are comfortable with each other. But really thanks for your review i got some re assurance.

    I can't wait for my dcut now..:)

    For all the above mentioned reasons, my perception right now is probably strongly flawed. This means that some (but not all) of the things I am going to say here  might need to be revised after I have had the time to check out the entire content of the DVD and also to replay the couple discs. This is also not meant as a comprehensive analysis. I am just jotting down some random impressions to give a general picture to the people who don't have access to the DVD content and have to rely on our comments that will inevitably be a bit vague (because of the copyright issue) and will mainly focus on the shipper stuff (as expected since this is a shipper thread :tongue:) 

     

    The couple bts are from quite a lot of scenes.

    Due to the different tone and nature of the drama scenes (for instance, some required actual skinship beween JiBong, while in others they were just talking, etc.), the tone and nature of the bts also differs. (as it is easy to imagine, for instance skinship in the drama scene means more opportunities for "offcam" skinship, etc.) 

    That's not the only difference: I need to go back and rewatch for this (to make sure that I did not miss something because I was sleepy, etc :lol:), but what I remember/felt is that some bts - especially for the early scenes - are really detailed and long, while for other scenes only shorter snippets are included. There might be a lot of reasons for this. Maybe they filmed less BTS footage for the last episodes because they were pressed for time  and the BTS cameraman was busy with other tasks (if it is the same for general bts - which I still have to check out - this could be a very likely conclusion), or maybe this is an editorial choice of our PDnim who selected the content for the DVD. Who knows...

    Anyway, think that the BTS in the DVD are different from the BTS released from SBS Catch. Of course, some of the "old" bts are included here too, but here you get to see the bigger picture whereas the SBS Catch BTS  were just highlights. Here you really  get an idea of how they filmed the scenes, and the huge work that even the simplest scene required. 

    Digression: I confess that I've never been particularly into filmmaking, etc. so while I've always known of course that there is always a loooot of work and also many nameless people behind every scene that we see on our screens I've rarely bothered to really understand what this means. For my movies, tv series, and dramas I am usually happy to enjoy the final result and that's it. Sometimes I might watch short BTS clips out of curiosity or to see what the atmosphere on set is like but I assure you that  if it had not been for NamJi I wouldn't have bothered to watch 6 hours (!) of this kind of documentary "making of" clips, and definitely I wouldn't have sacrificed 6 hours of sleep to do so. :o But I ended up loving what I saw, as I briefly mentioned in my previous message. Not just the smaller or bigger (in some cases, definitely BIG ^_^) glimpses of NamJi we got through these videos, but everything about these BTS. Starting from the teamwork of all the people involved in creating this drama to the obviously happy atmosphere on the set... to how JCW and NJH worked hard together and with the 2 directors to give us the best possible JiBong and SP.

     

    So, let me say this one last time  to make things clear for the fellow shippers who cannot access all this content and for anyone else who might lurk here to check NamJi shipper's reactions and comments after the DVD...

    The "couple BTS" are 6 hours long. Does it means 6 hours of NamJi of being lovey-dovey,  lost in their own world / in each other's eyes? 6 hours of NamJi making out or finding any possible excuse to have skinship with each other? NO. Not at all. 

    I was not expecting that. Not only because  of course it would have been inappropriate and not suitable, but above all because I have a high opinion of both NJH and JCW as actors and individuals, and I have no doubt that they are serious and professional about their job. I was not at all disappointed in this regard, and everything I saw further cemented my opinion and respect and love for them. And without this respect and love for them, I could not ship them.

    In these couple BTS I saw two people being very professional and working really, really hard even if always in a happy mood.  Two people tirelessly rehearsing their scenes, talking with the directors and attentively listening to them... in this respect, what both of them had said in many  interviews about discussing a lot about their scenes between themselves and with pdnim in order to make them more beautiful, to convey the feelings more effectively, etc. materialized before my eyes. I am incredibly thankful to NJH and JCW for this hard work that is readily apparent from these BTS, because no matter what their real feelings for each other are, without their professionalism and their acting skills JiBong wouldn't have been such a beautiful and enjoyable drama OTP to watch.  

    We all know after all that chemistry is a key element especially in a rom-com, but without many other factors it is not enough to make a drama worth watching. 

     

    Sorry for the long post and for stressing this point, but I thought it was important to say it  at least once,  since of course most discussion about the DVD here is and will be centered only on shippy  stuff. And there is a lot :D Also what is already leaking in IG and twitter is ship-related, as you could expect. But since now we are dealing with materials that are not accessible to everyone (and therefore many people are reading and seeing only "filtered" content, and don't really have all the elements to make a full evaluation), it's too easy to give the wrong impression or create misunderstandings. And I personally I don't want to mislead anyone and reduce these 6 hrs of couple BTS to NamJi's kisses, skinship, etc. only, because I feel it would be even disrespectful of NJH and JCW.

     

    And now that I have said this, I can happily dive in the purely ship-oriented comments myself. :lol::wub:

    I love love love love this edit. Cos LOTBS is one my fave drama and this song this song with namji is love. Gahhh... the feels it gives me is way better than LMH and JJH scenes. >.<

    Just checked cafe update.Guess they have started shipping prior to estimated date. Yey!! Can't wait..

    TBH the main reason why I want to quit for a while is the fan wars .  Jiji shipper vs NJH fans.  I dont think it is healthy for my mind and heart .  I cannot believe that fangirling will be this hard though both sides have their points but continously reading makes me sad.  I even unfollow all on my IG account (JH fans,  CW fans and Jiji shipper) The only one remain there are few shippers whom I develop relationship beyond namji meaning we are sometimes talking about our lives not just namji.

     

    I love our couple so much and they will always stay in my heart.  Hoping that God can answers our prayers that our couple will confirm , get married and have kids.  ( I want too see my grand child coz namji are my babies, hehehe).
