Yep her honesty is refreshing....and the words and her actions comes out from an organic place and one can sense is not preconceived. That is just her being true to what she feels. And that is what makes her beguiling. I truly hope she keeps this trait. I hate to think what the cynical world of show business she transverses can do to such a goodhearted, precious gem like her.

Ya think their management team are vetting the questions during their interviews? Its like their team telling the reporters at the press junket, we would really appreciate it if you would please refrain from asking these questions as listed.
I'm not certain about K-ENT but from what I understand, in most cases, actors/actresses who are interviewed (A-listers they may be) do not necessarily have editorial control of the final copy/story published. The reporter/journo/interviewer submits it to the editorial team and they decide on the tone and narrative. They (and their management team including PR) can only control on the questions they'll answer. Maybe, when the reporter is leading to ask these questions, someone from their team interjects, "sorry he/she's not answering that". Else these two chatterbox will just give it all away.

Like I said, I don't know if JiJi is real, but I sure as hell know that I would think less of any actor who kisses and flirts like JCW did in the BTS while in a real relationship.
And because I firmly believe that JCW would never be that kind of man, I really don't understand how fans of his could ever think he would - with a girl almost 10 years younger than him at that. It's like some of his fans would rather have him being a shady guy as long as it sinks the JiJi ship.
You believe he would disrespect his girlfriend like that for a little higher ratings? Wow. If you have fans like that, who needs haters?
I, for one, believe that he is as honest as he can be to his fans. And what you see in the BTS is the truth: two beautiful people touching, flirting and having more fun than they should while working. lol Is it more? Only they know. But it's for sure not an act.
So, please stop vilifying his character to suit your ship. That's plain wrong, no matter what your ship is called.

Wookie made it clear he wants someone who can be his muse. That to me means someone young. Look at his past costars. They are either older or same aged as him. Hyunie is younger. BTW, speaking about him wanting to have a muse. Somebody already mentioned it (I think one is from nianderson) during the Seoul Music Awards, it never fails to amuse me how flustered JCW seems as he keeps on looking at his cue cards and had to check what he's suppose to say while JH was smoothly keeping the flow of their conversation as they present the winners.

I know you guys want to move on with this convo, but I have a question that is slightly related as I've been trying to learn more about the K-ENT industry. Its hard to find credible sources, industry trades and forums as those are written in hangul. Unlike its HW and British counterpart, we can easily access entertainment industry trade publications (Variety, HW Reporter, Production Weekly, etc.) and their are forums that you can go to that have many industry insiders as members or randomly chiming in.
I've been tryng to pin which category Dispach belongs to because its not really a tablod like the UK Daily Mirron or Sun and the US tabloids like LifeStyle, Star, UsWeekly and even People. Dispatch seems to be a mix of TMZ and Bauer-Griffin with a little bit of Popsugar/Gawker. TMZ is known for their sources in the LA legal circuits.
So on this note I would like to relate the Dispatch story as perhaps part of a PR campaign for Girl's Generation. I read some years back an article about SM Entertainment and being a big outfit and a listed one at that they have big PR firms on their payroll. I'm been trying to find some details but PR flacks in K-ENT is not as highly visible. But I would like to think that their PR strategy are likely the same as their HW counterpart and elsewhere. So I won't be surprised if entertainment blogs/pap firms like Dispatch have a symbiotic relationships with the entertainment
mediacompany like SM and their PR firms. Often, when they roll out a media campaign we get bombarded with articles and media blitz to drum interest. Yoona being popular maybe part of the center of their group's media campaign. Also, its possible, that Dispatch and SM have tacit understanding to have their artists featured constantly. In return, Dispatch will have some sort of access to their artists in their roster and SM can curry favor to Dispatch to hold information or hold off publishing photos that they and give them time to nip in the bud or do damage control.-

I concur. I too appreciate everyone's efforts in steering this ship as we embark in an arduous journey. I am glad that I've found kindred spirits in spazzing, sharing and crying over small and big things related to Jojo/Jibong in this forum because IRL people around me (family, friends, colleagues) will think I've gone bonkers. I'm at ease that in the next 21 months I have comrades who will be with me as we go thru the ebb and flow of shipping two wonderful beings. Que sera, sera...what will be, will be.

Because logic is easy. And if everything were just as easy, there would be no point to existence other than temporarily renting space on the planet. Coming right down to it, that’s what we’re doing after all.
Thus nature laid down her law and let us choose. No guts, no glory. You can follow the path of sequential rules to gain what you want at each step of life and live out your days commendably with discipline or you can let your wings and the winds take you where they may and quench the thirst for things you thought were beyond your power.
Or you can willingly embrace the battle between the head and the heart. Glean every joy, pain, triumph and trial until life is a myriad of colors bearing testimony to the immense experiences you went through.
A shipper can empathize with the third choice all too well. It is push-and-pull from all ends, shot with adrenaline and drained of it every other second, hurtling towards the peak and crashing into the pits, spasms of glee and nightmares of pathos. Their language has as many variables as constants- maybe/definitely/probably/without doubt/kind of/I’m sure. Their roller-coasting thoughts could put an agitated seismograph to shame. Their days are spent in hopeful eagerness as much as crippling dread.
I thought I had my fill of that. When RMS SongSong sailed into the sunset, I thought I had fought my best fight yet in the para social reality. The stakes high, but surmountable. The union fragile, but the time ripe. Much to lose, even more to gain. Emotional, physical, familial, social, financial and philosophical alignment couldn’t get more perfect for them. All they needed was a leap of faith and even that, in hindsight, was a part of the natural progression. Obviously not being in the loop, all we had to do was deal with the suspense patiently, responsibly, level-headedly.
I never for a blessed moment dreamt that I’d glance at another passing ship while celebrating on RMS SS. Even less that I’d be holding a champagne flute in one hand and a brand new ticket in the other, skipping in joyfully only to be greeted by a shower of hot coals.
I thought I’d prayed, wished and hoped my best before? Clearly had another thought coming. Thought the last one was a helluva scary ride? Had another thought coming there too.
NamJi… or as affectionately known here, JiJi. I saw the trailer and found it darn interesting so kept my eye on May 10th for quite a while. I had seen Hyunnie in ‘A reason to live’ and she was every bit as good as Kyo there. Other than that, didn’t know much else about her, nothing about him, and didn’t try to find anything until a couple of episodes aired. Blistering chemistry, incredible pace and a fabulous heroine- had to dig more.
Oh I dug… My. Own. Grave.
The thing is, before the first batch of BTS rolled in, I already possessed enough Hyunnie intel. And I learnt enough about Wookie to ascertain that he is a man who does his homework well on the professional front. For the first time he is spearheading a drama wherein his chemistry with the leading lady is going to shoulder the major responsibility of the show’s success. Yes, he can generate sparks with an eraser and can make love with his eyes to a white picket fence, but you can’t convince an audience to stay tuned for that visual for 40 episodes.
He had to have run a bit of background check on his co-star: her similar works before, her acting style, her dating history… since with such a young actress cast to play a far older character in positively PG scenes, romantic experience definitely factors in.
So I witness them in the first dirty-but-pretty BTS. Wookie thinking he’s so smooth, asking the lady what she’ll do if her boyfriend witnesses her in such a smelly state. He and the goddamn whole wide world know that she has never dated in the real sense. She never had nor does have a boyfriend. It was there in the frickin’ newspapers for chrissake!!
She didn’t erupt into a fit of coy giggles and counter-fish for his intentions, like “Oh why do YOU want to know my boyfriend’s reaction, oh-ppppaa?!!! ” He would have known she was creating a fake boyfriend just for the sake of furthering that line of conversation. She didn’t state the obvious truth either. I kinda expected her to at the time, but now I know better. She simply didn’t see the need to bring the topic up just to answer what she considered a mere passing curiosity.
“I’d run away.” she said. The honest answer. The genuine answer. The actual reality of what people would truly do in such a situation. And when she did laugh, it was out of pure mirth.
In that moment, I fell for Miss Nam Ji Hyun like a tree and swore to be hers and hers alone forever if she’d have me.
Wookie? Ah, he got schooled. And that was just the first try.
@nianderson I'm quoting your post in its entirety because such beautiful prose deserves to be framed and bookmarked. As I read what you wrote I feel like I'm looking over the shoulder of the writer as she pens the beginnings of a love story for the ages that will be remembered by many in years to come.

Ya know its a testament that one is CERTIFIABLE when it comes to our Jiji/Jibong. Was driving on the way to work and got stuck in traffic and a crazy driver in a motorbike just darted in front me on the road. Pre-SP and Jibong. I would have been CUSSING and CURSING. But nope....I was happy tinkering and looking at the phone [DISTRACTED DRIVING is not GOOD KIDS]. Might as well look at the Jibong thread while traffic is in a standstill. Sure enough, TRAFFIC be damned. I was just chuckling and happily reading the posts and SPAZZ.

It just reinforces the contention that this two can't be interviewed together and in the same room together because that would really let the cat out of the bag, noh? My heart goes out to Wookie. I think he'll really give it away as soon as Jihyuni is in the room.
