ML looks will pass with flying colours but acting is cringey. We simply focus on the others when ML was in the scene - very easy to do. Kekeke. That’s a lot!!! That’s so true. I usually don’t finish shows with leads I don’t like to watch but the Thai version was good - the best told story of the various versions methinks. The 2ML really made up for ML. Even my hubs who would pick games anytime over my dramas would ask after it. I have yet to watch the Japanese version though. -2

Kinda flashy and wild but there’s still a goody two shoes vibe about him. I finally caught up with the 2 eps of Queen of Tears. It’s a drama full of humourous contradictions and the dog-eat-dog realities of being in a chaebol family. I love the ending of ep2 - ML doesn’t kill, despite the constant condescension from the chaebol crowd, unless it’s to protect FL. Interesting character trait. It took her illness to bring back all of what he felt when they first met though he is kinda confused about what he feels/wants by the mind games the chaebols play. It takes tremendous strength that he doesn’t know he has to get through what he did. He’ll need to draw on that even more and possibly bleed himself dry to overcome complexities if he chooses to go down that difficult route. He should be ugly crying a lot. Kekeke. I like the depth of what the drama explores. -2

kekeke, Sigiriya. That’s right - I always reverse it. And yes, I was there a couple of years back and enjoyed it very much. Not so much Colombo (though I loved the crabs!) but everywhere else. I am afraid of heights so I remember shimmying along the walls while walking up the path up to the top of the rock the most. That said, it is breathtaking up there! I can see why it’s a UNESCO world heritage site -2

Hmmm…Ko Moon Young’s mother from It’s Okay Not to be Okay. She must be kind of sinister for her daughter to turn out the way she did - so haunted by bad memories, icy, absolute and merciless. On another note, I really like Seo Ye-Ji in that show. Her dresses were fabulous!

Your gifs always crack me up. They are indeed silly but with lots of heart. It’s lighthearted and explores not too typical relationships but it’s not holding my attention though cos I was washing dishes while it was playing - and I dislike doing the dishes. On the other hand, I put aside work while Impossible Heir played. I am liking both male leads - they play off each other well. I am also liking the story and characters so far. I am not sure if it’s told well or if I watched just too many chaebol dramas that I could guess right off the bat what was going to happen next. Real nice ahjumma moments. Kekeke. But there are developments that seem intriguing and am looking forward to the next eps. I know Lee Jae-wook but I don’t know the other lead who’s a singer. He makes a good baddie, and reminds me of Seo In-guk. -2

CDrama flow is quite dry now so was browsing when I saw this - a tale of love and loyalty. It’s a short length series about 15 min per ep but has the pomp and regalia of full length dramas plus it’s a breeze to watch. The ML, Richard Li Fei, apparently is the king of short length series cos he is in almost every one with respectable ratings in MDL. He dominates in the mini series. There’re reasons why… @MayanEcho@rocher22 Have you come across this actor? @partyon @Ameera Ali would probably take a second look. -2

I just started a cute JDrama with K-actor, Chae Jong Hyeop (Castaway Diva). He speaks Japanese fluently FL overacts kekeke. There are a few new kdramas coming out next week, one of which is Impossible Heir starring Lee Jae Wook (Alchemy of Souls) - a 12-episode drama featuring family fracas of the chaebol kind.
