    IT was a pleasure seeing him with Mirinae.  They say the love not only shows in the eyes but the entire face.  He did not have to tell mirinae that he does not have a mother.  But he wanted her to feel good and he does not anyway have a mother who he can rely on.  He has a namesake one who causes more trouble than any one should.  But that is life.  Since he was waiting for the book that Mirinae was reading, she said she will finish it quickly to give it to him.  He told her to take her time to read it.  So sweet and thoughtful.

     

    The interaction between them is not forced.  And neither is that between YY and KJ.  But HM and KJ feels so forced.  Of course the story is making it believable.  But it feels good.  I hope the writers will keep them brave and weather any storm that comes their way.  

     

    I hope KJ would not say anything to HM about his feelings for YY.  She is not to be trusted.  SJ already asked about HM and why does she feel jealous about YY.

    KJ had a nice conversation with MRN.  She told KJ that she did not have a father like the one in the book.  KJ confessed that he did not have a mother.  Asking her how come she is alone and who she came with she answered that she came with her mother and her mother would come back.  Nice introduction to the next phase of the journey.  

     

    HM is running around trying to figure out who all were out till the morning hours of the day drinking and having fun :naughty:.  She is irked that KJ and YY were together.  She called her aunt out of the blue and asked what time YY came home that day and the MIL figured out that YY must be out all night.  She is getting the cold shoulder in the preview.  

     

    EJ tells EH that she knows that he likes her.  He asks how and why she left him with KJ.  EJ says that YY is her friend and she probably wanted her to decide.  

     

    In SJ office, he ask why she likes KJ (I think!) and she answers that she has liked him from when she met him even before TJ retail. ( did not understand the full conversation).  

     

    Anyway, have a great weekend guys!  Have fun shopping on Black Friday.  Chat next week.

    When HM wanted to tell KJ about YY  ( ending of yesterday's episode), it got continued today and was interrupted by the male co-worker.  LAter on HM and KJ were in the break room and HM wanted to continue her conversation, but KJ said something, that put the breaks on HM.  She was saying something like she wanted the team members to not have secrets and KJ said, how YY would feel if she knew that they were friends.  He did not let her continue with YY secret.  

     

    Ooooooo way to go KJ.  Here is the clip.

    I hope KJ finds out before he confess to YY so he can make a decision without hurting YY. Since i doubt she will just accept his confession and has to pursue her. I'm worried about Grandpa reaction thought. I wonder if butler Ahn will speak to grandpa in favor for YY since she has known her since she was young.

    Grandpa does not know that Mrs. Ahn knows about who his baby chick is.  She has not disclosed that she knows YY.  Grandpa liked her at his store working night after night.  

     

    You are right that she cannot be kicked out.  Both SJ and KJ knew that something might happen and so both of them were taking precautions.  HAven't seen the preview yet, (not posted), but it would be interesting if the father comes to know about it too.  But he is a weakling and wouldn't take KJ side anyway.

    Disgusting, during ES yelling with Grandma she blames YY for Dojin death. Shes an awful woman. KJ and YY having a moment and KJ touches YY hand but YY give KJ the documents and the box. HM is having a flashback from her confrontation with YY in the restroom. When YY had enough and talked back and said to go ahead and reveal. Episode ends with HM threatening infront of YY to reveal about her being a mother. 

     

    HM continuing to being trashy during the company outing where they drink (is it called Hweshik? or something like that). KJ meets EH again and they both have a handshake trying to overpower eachother haha both are jealous. I believe its not far off from KJ finding out about Mirinae and then HM loses all leverage.

     

    Episode 38 Preview

    The food development team having their first dinner. Se-jun watches with interest the strange atmosphere between Gyeong-jun, Young-i, and Hae-mi. Meanwhile, Chairman Chang and Yoon-hee are talking about the accident of missing samples between Kyung-jun and Young-i during the intern competition. Cold words that hide each other's true feelings come and go, and Yoon-hee grows her antipathy toward Chairman Jang even more...

    After seeing the clips and reading about it, I want YY to get the courage to tell KJ about MRN.  Otherwise HM will constantly hold it on YY head.  

     

    There is only so much abuse one can take.  It is good that YY stood up to HM.  Also, it looks like she explained about the clothes that she was wearing about how she got it .  

     

    Is it not possible for Chairman Kang to kick Yoon-hee out of the company?  I know that they talked about many people supporting her.  We will have to go through her constant manipulations for the next 79 episodes.  Along with that HM is joining in the parade.

    Too late.  They have registered their marriage and will have to go through a divorce or annul the marriage.  Don't know if that would happen.

    I like the CEO and Sorim too.  Even with their age difference.  I also like GW and the aunt.  She is falling for him and she knows.  IT will make a good combination since the aunt and CEO are friends.  They mesh well with each other and will be a welcome change compared to the constant belittling, bickering and hideous behavior by SJ family.

    I don't mind the relationship between sorim and the ceo, but I hope the relationship between sorim's ex and ceo's daughter breaks.  They are not good for each other.  Sorim ex is doing it because he is greedy.

    They were planning to go eat somewhere else right.  I hope they miss each other.  Not ready for KJ to meet MN before both of them realize they like each other.  YY is already feeling it.  She does not know why she is feeling this way.  That too with KJ saying the things that DJ used to say.

    you are right.  I just caught bits and pieces while working.  I saw in one snippet where she comes to help KJ and YY working together and she pushes YY chair to assist KJ.  I know she is pissed and when KJ reiterated that she is only going to be a sister to him, she asks him if he likes someone.  I am glad that he did not tell anything - because her jealously is over the top.  She even called her when she came to know that YY was still at work.  She will flip and tell either SJ or KJ that YY is a widow with a daughter.  IT is coming soon.....

     

    I too don't like KJ dad.  He is scared of grandpa and has grown up with a silver spoon and along with High heels - all he does is play golf.  Grandpa told him to be an umbrella to SJ and he does not even understand the reason. As you said, SJ will be hurt badly and that might bring High heels to her knees.  I think today, High heels was asked to not come into KJ room - i wonder what that was and she is trying to think why KJ went through the surgery at that time.

    So, when they loosely said that HM was KJ girlfriend - it probably meant that she was a friend who is a girl.   Not dating girl since we got that information first hand in the dinner that they had.

    This was exactly what I was thinking.  In addition to that grandpa said that KJ was his canvas and to let him deal with that.  Now with HM being KJ 's nothingness, she can control KJ and grandpa.  

     

    Did you guys see her conversation with Ms. Ahn when she had to take the heels to her room.  She knows that grandpa does not like her as she is selfish and greedy bit**.

    Karma in Gold Mask was not karma at all.  For someone to hate her son for doing the right thing while being obsessed with money and power and controlling her husband 's illness to capture that power for herself and even driving her daughter to the looney bin was not normal.  She did not pay enough for all that she did.  Just my 2 cents.

    All the three siblings are in an odd relationship.  

     

    TJ - if and when she marries SJ will be a step mom to the uncle's oldest child.  HE is actually SJ's son and he just got a piece of the document that his father (uncle) who tore it and dumped in to burn.  

     

    SR - is liking the CEO and he is father with a grown up daughter.  

     

    GW - is head over heels for his professor who at least seems decent compared to SJ mom and SM.  

     

    I thought that the prosecutor was a good guy and did not want to be with SM - but it turned out that he was con artist and conned the family hook line and sinker.  Just like how everyone including the uncle and aunt and SJ mom conning SJ about his child.

    KJ mother is dead.  They had a ceremony in one of the episodes where they show his mother's picture.  

     

    It has NOT been disclosed how KJ got blind at a young age.  When KJ and SJ were children, they were hanging out together and wanted to go see the ocean.  I don;t think he was blind then.  (not sure).  

     

    Ja young must have been Se Jun's first love or someone he was friends with and since High Heels did not like the association, she made sure to separate the two .
