    Just to follow up on my previous post about the CPF, they just mean not to stalk JY or ZZ in case they have their own private plans etc, LOL. Honestly i don't think we will see them together, if we just see them at their publicized events nothing will happen. This is just CPF joking around and being overly sensitive. Just have to think about the likelihood of them appearing at the same event and you know it won't happen. As long as no one stalks the two of them when they are on their own private business everything else is fine.

     

    They're just joking mostly, cause they love to joke as a way to imply that there's something going on between them. The only thing is my request was a serious request for the sake of someone else lol... So i wasn't as amused.

    Did you mean you'll go with the only fan? I think that's not a problem, as long as they don't get mad at you for being a CPF/YZ fan, then it's the same as going with another YZ fan/CPF.

     

    You have a right to go see them too, as long as you're respecting their privacy. I think you will meet other CPF there too. Let us know what happens ok? Fan cams and pics please! :lol::heart:

    Ok, so i am going to report the results of my search for info etc for @artemis73, which is actually a whole lot of nothing..

    I actually messaged lion sis, but i don't know whether its because she was already in the Netherlands to see JY or just because my reputation as a CPF isn't well known enough or whatever, she has not replied to me yet. I asked if she was going there, mentioned that artemis73 is a CPF from France that would like to go see JY and ZZ, thanked her if she had any info to share. But nothing.. There's another issue that might have complicated things since i unknowingly used the term "dog" in there which meant "follow" to me, as in follow JY and ZZ which a lot of fans normally use as some kind of fandom term. But it also kind of implies a really "dogged" pursuit, maybe she just thought i was being fanatical..

     

    This brings me to my second attempt at getting info for artemis73, which was to post on the YZ supertopic on weibo and ask if there are any CPF who will be going to paris as i know of a CPF from france who would like a partner to go with and if they know of any information about JY or ZZ's schedule please share. 

     

    What i got was a bunch of half serious, half naughty comments from CPF saying that we should let JY and ZZ have their time together, don't bother them, they need to "fight each other" (in bed probably lol), requests to not dog them too much. Because, this was something i almost forgot/overlooked in my attempt to find info, this is not a normal fashion week where everyone is looking forward to seeing JY or ZZ there.........

     

    This is a fashion week where both JY and ZZ will appear in the same city and attend nearly the same events at different locations in the city (although it will be different days)..................... So it's a big deal and instead of wanting to get more fan pics/cams i guess they are trying to protect the two of them/let them have their time together in anonymity (and let's be honest, hear about it after everything is all over).  Granted.. The element of hypocrisy here is that certain CPF, for example lion sis etc will be there in paris to see them. It's just that they probably don't trust "unknown" fans like us to "respectfully" maintain our distance. 

     

    This would have been more easily solved if lion sis just responded so she could share the wisdom and proper method of seeing the both of them lol. But really in my response to those comments on my post, i just told ppl that i used the wrong term, i just meant that artemis73 would like to "see" JY or ZZ not dog them and the intention is to see them in public venues like the fashion show where everyone is already seeing them and doesn't infringe on their privacy.

     

    I rebutted them slightly by saying most fans from western countries aren't that fanatical anyways, cause really they were just thinking to the extreme of how *they* might follow them around. When frankly speaking it wouldn't even occur to most ppl in western countries to do the stuff that a lot of asian fans have been doing.. Now i really want to facepalm. Like the concept of privacy is different anyways, if artemis73 goes she's only going to go to the main venues that the media will already be at barring the airport. And if they want to keep the airport landing a secret well, i think that it will be hard because only fans might be there too and its still a public area. God, i'm feeling the cultural difference here and technically i have a foot in both cultures.

     

    I just didn't convey myself to them properly and it's probably some weird hierarchical trust issue in the fandom. Damage being done already, i think i will cut my losses and not attempt to correct my post and try again. I admit i am slightly annoyed at not getting a response from lion sis, but that's ok she will not be on my list of big shot CPF to contact in the future lol (she's going on my black list LOL). There are other ones too, but at the moment let's just go by what we hear ourselves because the fact that they're going to be in paris around the same time is a big deal and the CPF may be all up in arms about the events of that day if they don't know who i or artemis73 are. Personally i think its a lot of mumbo jumbo considering how even chinese CPF are not guaranteed to all be good and abiding as can be seen by various issues that came up just last week. 

     

     

    Sorry @artemis73 i think maybe since we won't know the venue for the fashion shows that far in advance the airport is going to be your best bet. Like i know there is a whole thing about letting them be alone and possibly meet without any evidence etc. But their landing into the country is not going to be the biggest sign of them possibly meeting. AND even if there was some huge candy, which i DOUBT, do as other CPF have done before, don't take "incriminating" pics and don't even hint at anything until way after they are both back in china and no public posts for everyone to see. Frankly speaking, CPF want to hear if anything big did happen, just as long as its safe to hear afterwards. And yeah once again i doubt there will be any stumbling on any candy of any sort because if you do go you will only be there to see them at 2 possible locations the airport and the fashion show.

    Hmm.. As a tiny, insignificant fan i don't know if i can even say or know.. But i guess that it may be both.. For all idols anyway the plan is always pretty much to gain more popularity and credit as actors/singers in their own right independent of their fans. There's more things that one can do as someone who has a reputation for being a legit actor/singer, so i think that's definitely part of their long term plans. Both of them are trying hard. The latter is so hard to predict, i think they probably are just working on themselves, because that's something they can actually control.

    I think she is chinese................. She must be........... Makes it even more mind boggling.. I mean her english really isn't that good even if she's translating sometimes.. She also has a poor grasp of JY and ZZ's characters.............. She takes everything they say at face value........ I don't know, she was saying to me, you should learn about chinese culture first (about wearing all black) and then after i said that chinese ppl wear white to funerals, she told me that they can either choose to wear all white or all black. She asked me if i'd ever been to a funeral (!)..... What a polite thing to ask............... 

     

    Really it's not even a question of custom, it's just a question of common sense and not jumping to conclusions pointlessly. Like using your mind to analyze the likelihood of something.. I give up. It was kind of obvious from the start that this person doesn't really comprehend much. The crazy thing is she revealed the fact that she still actually believed in her theory even after JY seemed fine. =__=;;;;;;;;;;;; 

     

    There is a really weird atmosphere in that chat.

    They don't want to use logic........ And i admit sometimes i want to smack them over the head with it.     I don't think i could stand to read those comments............. That reminds me.. There were fans that asked me to correct some of those comments made by the VS fans.. I need to apologize to those ppl since i said i would do it, but it totally slipped my mind. They were accusing CPF of bashing VS? =_=;;; Some ppl may believe what they're saying but it was actually hjt not CPF.. I guess i will go in where angels fear to trend.. Not very intelligent but oh well.. Right now i still have no time to do that yet.. Will have to wait.

    Yeah that is true.. What you said applies to so many situations.. I need to remember the fact that i was getting sick of that chat and it wasn't useful anymore anyways. Yeah weibo is not an easy place to trend.. I already try to stay out of the gossip/rumour mill outside of the YZ supertopic but even inside the topic there's plenty to go around............. 

     

    Hahaha, everyone is both a cynic and a hypocrite, to admit it means you're relatively innocent lol.

    Yeah JY is very genuine in this show, you can see his real emotions which is kind of rare on variety shows sometimes. But i wonder if maybe JY's role in this show is to be the one who can't deal with kids lol. Yeah it is pretty obvious they wanted to see him fail lol. I think maybe JY could be a tiny, little bit better with kids than this? Although i feel like he's pretty real in the show, so his struggle seems pretty legit lol.

    JY is working on so many projects in parallel, flying all over China, that i am worried he is stretching himself very thin. Considering he is based in Shanghai and flying to Chongqing, Guangzhou and Beijing, that is the same as if he were based in Vienna and flying to Stockholm, London and Paris respectively (distance-wise).

    Yeah i really hope JY goes to paris too.. This is not anything even close to a legit news source, could be all false for all i know, but a CPF claimed that she found out her brother was going to interview JY for something and apparently the interview will be in paris. Don't know if this is just a not so benign CPF making up rumours though. Nothing has been said yet, but sometimes the lack of information is kind of a good thing for them.  

     

    There was a time where i was worried about how often JY and ZZ flew all over the place in china and the safety of the flights, just as a statistical issue.. That was probably around the time when JY or ZZ were more consistently online after either one of them touches down at the destination airport.  Now it's not that obvious for us to see anymore. But i think as stars they just kind of have to.. There's all these events occurring in all these different provinces.. Right now flying in china i think they mostly got used to, but longer flights are even more draining.  Yeah i think JY really needs some time to rest, but i guess it's like a period they want to take advantage of after ORS..

    Don't feel too, too sorry for him, i think he is beating ZZ by a margin on ig...... X____X;; ZZ has the least number of likes out of the 5 stars on ig and each like counts for 3 votes lol.. 

     

    Yeah i don't think ZZ will win this one, getting him up to the finals was our big win probably. But ig is relatively easy to vote, just leave a random comment whenever. I usually just comment with an emoticon lol, as many comments as possible.

    You guys really should start a Team Europe YZ LOL. Reminds me of a biking championship or something lol. :lol: We can do international chapters lol, Team YZ North America, Team YZ South America, Team YZ Africa and it goes on and on lol. 

     

    There's a lot of "meeting family" posts on weibo, ppl actually post the city that they live in and try to find other CPF that way. Even though it kind of makes me want to facepalm from the lack of online security (sometimes there's posts on the YZ topic about when ppl's birthdays are lol..), it's effective and then i ended up doing the same thing and revealing the city i live in. Double facepalm lol.

    Yeah.. I was thinking of this too, but the person who brought it up should be a CPF living in china.. ==_____==;;;; Let's just say this person isn't very logical. I mean i was thinking traditionally ppl kind of wear white to funerals..     I'm kind of tired of certain fans, let's just say.. Cause only they're allowed to jump the gun with big things like this, if other ppl just talk about JY or ZZ's mood based on a pic, better watch for this person lol.

    Other celebrities have done the same, it's not anything to be ashamed about. It might be to

    the opposite, a way to honour their memory by posting about it and letting ppl know how important they were to them. Like this fan just tried to pin down a date and a particular grandparent. Seriously.......... Sometimes i don't know what ppl are thinking. Why think towards the most negative and most extreme scenario? When JY seems fine???

     

    I am kind of reluctant to refer ppl to the international YZ chat on weibo now, because there are ppl like this there.. Most ppl just silently watch it for the info, can't really expect much discussion there. 

     

    Edit2: Yep, i seriously do not recommend anyone joining that chat lol. I have just been kicked out for my views on how JY's grandfather is probably NOT dead and pointing out the rampant hypocrisy of ppl who will jump to these conclusions.

    I think its hard because maybe there isn't one platform/site that ppl are using to talk about YZ internationally. I thought there might have been a couple of fans in france on ig? Most true international fans are CPF, so i hope you will be able to find some there. I think there must be CPF abroad in france, but it's not easy to find them because they might not even be using weibo. Sorry i didn't really get back to you before, i just added you on weibo actually. :lol::lol: 

     

    I also messaged lion sis for you.............. Not sure if she will reply to me..... Lol.. My chinese isn't really that good either, hopefully i didn't seem rude or anything. :lol: If she doesn't respond, i'll post on the YZ supertopic and see if there is anyone with more info..

    It went better than i expected, i even finished the day early haha. :) Good on those fan subbers lol, i kind of thought that the official channel on youtube would sub them with with knotted love, but i guess they didn't?

    Oh man.. Ok let's try our best to get him up to that silver place lol. Not to take any attention away from this one, but i think there is another very important poll that ZZ is part of right now. Everyone is trying to get ZZ first place in the "most popular male singer" category. It's the next step up from the most popular new star awards he's been getting so there's a lot of focus on this one, it's not an international contest, but i think it's not too difficult to navigate if you already have weibo or a wechat account.

    ZZ's album is the 4th option on the page, 3 votes a day for each weibo or wechat account. :) It will ask you to sign in once you select ZZ's album  and click the little button on the right side. It really works best for me on the computer, i don't know about anyone else. Also lagged a lot previously, but now it seems to be fine.

    Yeah i think there's a lot less of that with western celebrities, but i think i'm too used to the asian entertainment industry to be surprised by the difference. Maybe this is only in hong kong, but many stars basically sign their lives away for like 10 years until they finish their contracts and start making some real money by doing advertisements. So when i see JY or ZZ advertising for those big brands, i'm like yess, that's the real money maker lol. :lol::lol:

    Thanks @tuzicr for your kind words and advice. :heart::heart::):) Part of it is i am definitely not getting enough sleep.. I was hoping i could fix that during the day off etc. 

     

    But i really did feel a lot better after watching ep 4 of JY's variety show. :) Kind of amazing really lol. Just helped put things into perspective.. It's one day, i'll suffer through it and hopefully be able to get more stuff i need to get started on done. 

     

    I am going to pay more attention to anything about JY going to paris now, cause it's the prime time for the news of any cancellation to come out. I mean i haven't seen anything solid yet, but i haven't been ghosting around the YZ weibo supertopic as much lately because i've been so busy and my data was completely drained for the month lol..... I think their visas must be ready by now too. 

     

    I don't know if you are being too cynical.. It's a good question that you've raised. Even though we know a lot of variety shows are to an extent scripted and it's not that likely for this one to not be scripted either, so far they have filmed it so naturally that its hard see most of the scripted parts. I think that JY crying itself in the show was probably spontaneous.. JY does get teary sometimes, out of JY and ZZ, JY is more likely to show his actual emotions and tears.

     

    But i was thinking a little bit about the timing of JY's post on weibo, it was essentially a handful of days before this episode of the variety show came out. The part with the crying.. So i think if anything this post was almost like a partial explanation of the crying bit that was going to be released. If not also somewhat adding to the publicity, but knowing JY i tend to think of the publicity as simply a byproduct of his post and not the intention of it. Most likely nothing serious really happened during the time that JY posted on weibo. Maybe it was more of a "this was why i was crying" post lol.

    There was a post that i translated on ig about how JY looked like he was in a good mood around the time of the post and even afterwards, the CPF who went to see JY at the film set was kind of adamant that JY was fine and told ppl to stop trying to add to the rumours of something serious happening in his family. Granted he is also only a fan, but at least he was there to see JY in person.

     

    Sometimes fans also jump the gun a bit too much, JY dresses in black all the time.. But some ppl were ready to think the worst right away ...... Using the fact that he was dressed all in black as evidence, I mean that's a bit much for so little to go on. Not that ppl aren't allowed to express their feelings and worries when everyone was also kind of worried about the same thing, me included, but sometimes it causes a bit of a panic amongst fans.. On weibo that can spill onto other things as well, here it doesn't have much affect lol.

     

    It seems like everything that happens is linked, but we often forget that aside from live streams, fan pics and videos as well as JY and ZZ's own posts on their accounts, not much else is an immediate representation of how they are feeling that day. All the other videos and shows/films they are on have been filmed in advance, because the clips have to be edited and cut a lot of the time. I mean some scenes might have even been reshot multiple times, which implies that the authenticity of it is even lower.

    I swear today i got home and felt like crying myself..... I thought that i would get tomorrow off but the co worker who said they probably could take the shift said they probably won't be able to anymore. I couldn't even stand the thought of having to work that day in particular, honestly seeing JY tearing up was like representing my own emotions. Although after i watched the show i felt better lol.. It's really all a matter of the atmosphere i guess. Bad atmosphere at work and it feels 10 times worse. Lol taking care of kids maybe brought back a lot of memories for JY AND probably took a lot out of him. It's probably not an activity he would normally voluntarily do. 

     

    I think for JY in this episode it really was more to do with that text message he got and missing his family.. Probably nothing too big happened but he was worried and being around kids reminded him more of his childhood. What he didn't understand then maybe he just understood after having to take care of those kids. There's essentially a month or maybe even a 2 month (?) time difference between filming the episode and the post that got everyone worried for JY.. So i guess i wouldn't attribute his crying in that episode to anything too recent.. But its probably been afflicting him for awhile.. He needs to take a break, let's hope he gets that break in paris lol. :D:D 

     

    Needless to say, i am so strapped for time right now it's kind of depressing. Just let me survive this week and i'll be able to participate fully lol. If i haven't responded your to messages etc, i'm really wanting to but my brain currently doesn't have enough brainpower to do it and there's not enough time to put it into gear lol.

    Thanks. :):)  Just too many things happening this week, but i know things will get much quieter by the end of this week.... I actually wanted to drop a shift of work for the 23rd on saturday (not just for YZ, but also because i'm really tired).............................. They're both going to go to be in paris around that time. :lol: But i have work.. :( Will have to come back and see everything.

     

    Actually i'm so behind right now that i haven't seen all the posts and stuff from ZZ's appearance at the vogue film event yet.

    No, we always knew he was #2 overall. But now we know he is falling behind another chinese star in total vote count (this is counting all the platforms including the website, youtube and facebook), which we are trying to prevent because ZZ will not be able to make it through the semi-finals to the finals if that happens. At least we're trying to get ZZ to the finals, even if he loses to some korean star in the finals its better than not making it to the finals and losing to hyt.

     

    On facebook if we repost/share his video/pics then those are worth multiple votes. We just need to try our best to keep voting. Keep it up!!

    Yep, i think that's what happened. But he probably expected the reactions and didn't think the post would be able to stay up there long.

     

    After reading some posts about hyt, another star (the one who has overtaken ZZ in that contest from starmometer), i can totally see how difficult it is for JY and ZZ, as well as more reason for CPF's to be supporting them as much as possible. CPF are literally giving them the ability to be together, or even to just hint at it without being completely unable to show anything. They are providing them with a foothold in the fandom to be themselves without being controlled by the only fans who are usually gf fans. There's just never a happy ending with gf fans.

    I'm saying this because recently a scandal blew up about hyt, a new star who got popular very quickly off a net drama (i believe), kind of similar to JY and ZZ i guess, but since he didn't have a ban hovering over him he has coasted the wave of popularity.

     

    Some background first though, my impression of him, as well as most CPF's impression of him is kind of bad, because there was a time where hyt's fan basically mistook ZZ for hyt and grabbed his hand at the airport. Hyt's fans were causing a mess at the airport around ZZ, cutting ZZ off from other ppl, he was pretty mad that day because his mom was there too and she was being pushed, it was packed with fans that day (there were multiple stars heading to the airport that day, including hyt). This girl, hyt's fan, realized only after that she totally mistakened someone else for her own idol (can't even recognize her own idol lol), but then she loudly claimed it was ZZ who grabbed her hand first. LOL.................................... Yeah.. No lol. It was in the the entertainment news for awhile, lots of antis dissing ZZ with the situation that day and bz blamed CPF as usual. Hyt's fans were pretty damn unreasonable.

     

    Anyways, about the scandal, there was someone revealing evidence (truly reliable or not) of hyt meeting up with a girl in a hotel room for a couple of hours. There was some hotel camera footage, some pics of him supposingly in that room as well as some wechat conversation records. Ppl also didn't like the way his team marketed him because they kept buying "hot topics(?)" so that he came up in the trending news all the time, ppl were sick of seeing stuff about him lol.

     

    The point of my rambling is lol, i saw some ppl's discussion about hyt and stars like him who essentially are idols and sell their looks to fans. Their biggest taboo and fear is not poor singing and acting, the biggest problem that any idol could have is the rumour of being in a relationship, lying to fans, being a player would be even worse. Because they are marketing to gf fans who fantasize that they're their bf's. When that dream is crushed then they feel betrayed and they leave while giving the idol a very bad reputation.

     

    There were numerous references to luhan (i'll type LH from now on) who officially declared that another less famous female star was his gf. According to these ppl LH's popularity took a big dive down afterwards. They also said that because LH, hyt and other idols like them don't have sufficient acting or singing skills they can only really market to crowds like the gf fans. LH did not have very many CPF i think because of the way he was not forthcoming about his relationship with his gf earlier, it left a bad impression to possible CPFs too, since he also had other CP's previously, which didn't involve his actual gf. 

     

    So JY and ZZ giving candy etc is exactly the opposite of what most idols do. Idols like the two of them that don't necessarily have to rely on a CP anymore. Most would want to stay away from any possible implication of a relationship because if those gf/only fans leave then it will really affect their marketability. So i mean the stuff that happened after the bangkok concert makes more sense in that light. Most stars would not have touched any candy with a 10 foot pole let alone have given them out so freely, not even talking about the size of them lol. JY and ZZ have also tried to show that they are connected all along, they have been obvious where they could be. So i don't think those gf/only fans can claim that they're misleading anyone. 

     

    I think that JY and ZZ are trying to move away from just being idol type stars, trying to develop themselves further so they don't have to just rely on their looks and sell to gf type fans, which make up a lot of only fans. In the meantime CPF allow them to have some breathing space, really just allow them the chance to be associated together without it being the end of the world. Support from CPF is very important too, even if maybe CPF don't have the ability to buy as much of what they advertise as the only fans. 

     

     

     

    Also after saying all this, CPF really do not like the idea of hyt winning that starmometer contest. Of course its mainly because they want ZZ to be number 1, but it's also because hyt's fans have attacked ZZ before.
