  1. Sung-yeon reads Mi-so’s childhood notebook full of cute notes to her Oppa and smiles at her adorableness. She missed him a lot back then. He wonders what she’s doing now.

Cut to Young-joon and Mi-so talking about how it’s a misunderstanding that Young-joon is super jealous. Sung-yeon calls just then and Young-joon sees it when he takes the phone.

    Ad time.

Ok we’re back. He answers and asks what’s up. Again with the bro fight. He tells hyung not to call again because they’re in the middle of something important. Mi-so is upset that he keeps doing this and tells him that she wants to know what these memories are. Young-joon sighs in defeat.

LOL the fight is in for the tablet. Secretary Yang totally loses to the ladies and Se-ra is displeased. She asks what he’s looking at her, her enhanced beauty in the hills? And he’s like oh there’s a bug HAHAHAHA. Gwi-nam just runs past her HAHAHA and omg her bra padding FALLS OUT OMG LOOOOL. Secretary Yang rips off his jacket and puts it over the padding! He saves the day! Gwi-nam doesn’t see it and thankfully walks away lol. The music is killing me HAHAHA. Se-ra sees the man in a new light now!

Mi-so walks alone and it begins to rain. She hastily looks for shelter when Young-joon runs up to her with his jacket a la The Classic AW HAHAAHA. Slow mo looks and everything aw. He’s like let’s just use my limited edition jacket and they run in the rain HAHAHA this is so cute. They manage to find a pavillion. He worries about catching a cold and Mi-so says it’s fine and he’s like oh not you, me. HAHAHAHA. They laugh at his ridiculousness when Mi-so spots a spider’s web and FREAKS out. Young-joon immediately gets rid of it and comforts her. He gives her the chocolate and she looks at him, remembering what the Oppa did for her back then.

She looks up at him with tears in her eyes and gets a hold of herself before thanking him for the chocolate. His face is so tender what the heck. They wait for the rain to stop and he asks if she’s better now. She says yes, and the rain begins to stop slowly. They decide to go and as they walk, she tells him about her phobia and when it started. There was a huge spider outside the room she was in, she says. He tells her that everything seems bigger when you’re younger, so the spider back then shouldn’t have been too big. He asks if she remembers his dog Big Bang Andromeda Supernova Sonic HAHAHAHA. She’s like can’t we call him Big Bang? HAHAHA. Anyway he tells her about how the dog used to bury his favourite bones in the ground, and even though it’s gone now, the bones may still be there. He tells her that he doesn’t want her to remember any memories that are painful, likewise for his parents and hyung. Aw. She says she knows what he means, but she’s been living for her family for a long time. She wants to find that Oppa who gave her something (instead of her giving as always). He says that he’ll give her everything that she wants.

“I have the confidence to be responsible for you. I do.”

  2. They can’t think of anything good at all and get totally upset at Young-joon for arriving with no notice at all. Young-joon manages to stop Mi-so outside the house and tells her that he’s here FOR HER LOL. He asks her again if she knows what the ultimate outcome of the MT-workshop thing is and she’s like um company unity? He’s like nope it’s for us to end our some and to begin our relationship. HA

    Ok ad time.

We’re back. He’s all just watch, we’ll be lovers by the end of this MT HAHAHAHAHA. He does seem super determined though. Anyhow everyone is super stressed out by his presence, and the presentation of their ideas begin. Nobody wants to go first HAHAHA and Se-ra is sent out first. She’s all dang it and stammers her way through everything LOL so Young-joon just sends her back HAHAHAHA. Gwi-nam volunteers himself and is all quotes famous guy quotes famous guy etc but gets everything WRONG LOL. Young-joon does not look very impressed. Everyone tries to cheer for him though lol.

HAHAHAHA Young-joon talks about how the expression in one’s eyes are the most important and everyone tries to impress but of course he’s only impressed by Mi-so LOL. He then lets everyone off for free time but Ji-ah totally robs them of it by informing them that there’s this competition to be had omg looool. But what Young-joon gets out of it is being in a team with.... Mi-so duh HAHAHA poor Gwi-nam who raised his hand so earnestly.

Everyone is so grateful to have offloaded Young-joon to her HAHAHA. Secretary Yang and Se-ra end up in a team together while Ji-ah and Gwi-nam are in one LOL. Se-ra changes to a sexy top to try and impress Gwi-nam ahahaha why though whyyy. They get into their teams and Manager gives Young-joon a piece of chocolate. He informs them that first prize of this competition is a tablet and Gwi-nam totally rushes for it HAHAHA.

Gwi-nam chastises Ji-ah for not being quick enough and tells her that he’ll get that tablet for sure. They spot their first ribbon to be picked but it’s too high up to be taken down. So Gwi-nam makes the ultimate sacrifice and takes off his jacket to give to Ji-ah HAHAHAHA. He climbs up the tree because he needs the tablet OMG LOL. He then is stuck on the tree LOL and asks to step on Ji-ah to get off HAHAHAHA. She gets her stab at revenge by pretending to answer a call and abandons Gwi-nam in his tree HAAHAHAHAHAHHAA.

  3. Poor Ji-ah. So off they go and they’re at a rest stop eating when Gwi-nam rejects all food. But Se-ra accidentally spills some food on his suit and Gwi-nam himself ACCIDENTALLY REVEALS THAT HE ONLY HAS ONE SUIT HAHAHAHAHA. He manages to brush it off though phew. Manager is eating ramyeon and Mi-so only realises now that it was innuendo for something naughty HAHAHAHAHA. She asks when its meaning changed in a super serious tone and everyone is shocked lol. More fake laughing commences HAHAHAHAHAHAH THESE PEOPLE.

Young-joon is flying a drone at home, super bored. He can’t believe that his sincerity was doubted last night by Mi-so aw. Meanwhile she’s eating snacks super loudly at the MT LOL. Ok some PPL time. Ji-ah asks if it’s ok to just play and not do work, and Mi-so says yeah it’s cool LOL. They’re all happy about how it’s so fun not to do work and the guys have fun drinking too haha. Gwi-nam totally spoils the mood by being a stuffy dude hahaha but off they go to the stream to have some fun anyways.

They spot an old truck and reminisce about the past AND THEN two people appear in a plume of smoke. LOL NO PRIZES FOR WHO THEY ARE HAHAHAHAHA. This is hilarious OMG. They all freak out at Young-joon’s appearance and someone drops the watermelon they’re holding. Young-joon stops it with his foot and he’s like the reason I’m here is because.... of Secretary Yang LOL.

Mi-so’s like oh then he could have come alone and Young-joon’s all I’m the person in charge so how couldn’t I come? LOL they’re so unhappy he’s here but clap anyway HAHAHAHA. They immediately cancel their fun plans and go straight to work LOL. Omg these people.

  4. Mi-so gives Sung-yeon her notebook. He says he’s lived thus far resenting Young-joon but now he’s grateful to him. Mi-so receives a call from Young-joon and rushes back to the office with Sung-yeon in tow. The bros face off again and snark commences. Young-jook snarks that Sung-yeon doesn’t seem to know how it feels like to do well and Mi-so defuses the situation by asking Sung-yeon to leave first. The sight of Mi-so calling Sung-yeon oppa and Sung-yeon calling her by name drives Young-joon CRAZY LOL.

He demands that she cooks ramyeon for him and she’s like what this was your emergency? He goes on a spiel about how this is so important to him as the person who runs Yumyeong anddddd they end up in a restaurant LOL. Mi-so asks why he keeps interfering in her affairs and she knows that the bros don’t get along but. Young-joon asks if the past is so important, more so than her Some guy?? LOL she’s like whaaaat???? He says that they both like each other so it’s a some relationship they’re in right? She’s like um that’s not right is if? And he shoots back that it is.

They're outside her house now. He says he’s really good at everything but now it’s not about him just wanting to stay like in the past. Now he means it and he wants to begin a relationship with her. And she’s like..... doesn’t seem like it! LOL she agrees that they’re in a some but they can’t get in a relationship right now because of his jealousy and all lol. Dogs bark as Young-joon basks in sorrow. Mi-so’s all what kind of confession was that?

The VP’s office goes on their MT! Secretary Seol is really capable at prepping the food and drinks for the MT but not so much at work I see... heheh. They all laugh at her capabilities when Gwi-nam shows up in his ONE TRUE LOVE SUIT. He explains that it’s cos he views this to be as important as work but Ji-ah knows the truth LOOOOOL. He drags her aside to make sure that she doesn’t reveal his secret which is super loltastix

  5. Sung-yeon meets with his parents. Mum asks why he hasn’t met them in a while and he says he needed to meet an important person. They ask if it’s a girlfriend and he says it’s someone he’s fated to meet. Ok. Parents are kinda excited but WHY.

Mi-so works and receives a call from Sung-yeon to ask her out for lunch. He says they seem to have lots to talk about but she looks at Young-joon worriedly. She walks in to hand him a document and asks if she can skip the corporate lunch they’re having together. He asks who it’s with and she confirms it’s Sung-yeon. SAD MUSIC PLAYS.

Sung-yeon meets up with her and says he couldn’t sleep at all last night. He’s very happy to discover that he wasn’t alone during the kidnapping incident and Mi-so agrees that it’s nice to meet her Oppa again. He asks if she has anything to say to him after such a long time and if he’s something like her first love. Um.

They go for a walk and meet Young-joon. He asks if she’s forgotten about their corporate appointment and she says that Ji-ah is in charge of that. He insists that she’s the one who should go and asks her to go to the car first. Bro face off! Young-joon tells him to stop meeting Mi-so. Sung-yeon refers to her and himself as “we”, and Young-join takes umbrage at that and says that that’s THEIR relationship. Sung-yeon says he knows that and a whole series of snarking follows.

In the car Young-joon asks why Mi-so and hyung are meeting again. She says they’re trying to find more memories by going to similar places as the one they were trapped in together . He tells her not to go and she says she wants to because she wants to find out more things.

Ji-ah and Gwi-nam time! HAHAHAH he inserts himself into Ji-ah and Se-ra’s conversation just to remind her to zip it. Se-ra’s all concerned about his salad and Gwi-nam’s like aw it’s ok i like meat on my brains more! LOL. He gets invited to their MT by Se-ra and Ji-ah is mortified. Manager comes by and Gwi-nam thinks his secret has been revealed but luckily it’s something else all together HAHAHA. He says he’ll go to the MT and Ji-ah is SO displeased.

Mi-so confirms that there’s no dinner appointment for Young-joon and tells him that Secretary Yang is waiting for him. He asks if she’s going to go with hyung and chants DONT GO DONT GO DONT GOOOOO buuuut she leaves anyway. Lol he’s all where are you going??? Shouldn’t you make more memories with me instead?

Mi-so is picked up by Sung-yeon while Young-join rides with Yoo-shik in his Maserati woo. The  car happens to stop right in front of hyung and Mi-so and Yoo-shik JUMPS ago cover Young-joon’s eyes LOL these two. He lets go only when Sung-yeon and Mi-so have gone and tells him that he’s SUCH a great friend to him today LOL.

Sung-yeon and Mi-so walk together in a neighbourhood similar to Mi-so's old one and he tells her more about his story. Mi-so says yeah there was another person apart from them. He asks if she knows how they got there but she only remembers him holding her hand all the way home. He asks what she used to call him. She says Oppa and he tells her to call him that from now on.

Gratituous scene of Young-joon boxing while he thinks of Mi-so and hyung together. Yoo-shik ROLLS in lol and totes gives him directions on how to do it right to. Young-joon asks him to spar and Yoo-shik APOLOGISES LOL. He asks Young-joon what’s up and he admits he’s upset. Immediately Yoo-shik knows it’s about Mi-so and before Young-joon can even deny it Yoo-shik pounces on him and beats him down verbally lol. He tells Young-joon that they’re in a some relationship and tells him that he should just tell her! Quickly! LOL after Young-joon gets fierce he’s like sorry I’ll cancel that fighting for today!

  6. EPISODE 7

So we start with a lovely recap of Young-joon’s Kinda Confession. It’s cos it’s you, Mi-so!!! Again with the touching instrumentals. Mi-so asks if he knew her from before, and he’s like yeah? She says she’s always been curious ever since she was picked to be his overseas secretary, and he says that there’s no other reason apart from her being Kim Mi-so. He says her resume was so bad, no one would ever want to headhunt her anyway so. Mi-so is like oh... what a not special kind of reason at all. You fool Young-joon!

He walks her out after work and asks her if she has a good time talking to hyung about the past and if it feels good to find her Oppa. She says it’s nice but doesn’t feel real yet. He asks her if she remembers about what he told her about hyung in the past. She sympathises with him and aw man his face!!! She bids him goodbye and he just lets her go awwwwwww.

Mi-so gets home and looks at the notebook from her childhood. It’s filled with her drawings of Oppa and notes to him as well. Young-joon sits broodingly at home and looks at HER resume. Dude you two.

He recalls the past. He’s looking at her during a company dinner super longingly aw. His subordinate says he didn’t have to come but Young-joon says it’s a good experience. He looks at Mi-so again and says it’s food that he came.

He sits beside her and asks for her name. HIS SMILE AWW. He asks if she knows who he is and she says yes, you’re the president’s son! He looks disappointed but says yeah, that’s right. Aw doooode. Scene change. He asks for her to be transferred to him and the deed is done. She comes in and introduces herself super cheerfully. He just looks so happy to have her with him again aw.

Back to the present where he’s all depressed again.

Mi-so speaks with Yoo-shik about whether it’s him or hyung. Yoo-shik asks if she’s sad that it’s not Young-joon and she’s like hahaha no way! And exits. Yoo-shik marvels that it’s an interesting situation and promptly fixes a lunch appointment lol. His secretary totally doesn’t hear him calling HAHAHAHAHAHA because she’s in Mi-so’s department right now.

Theyre talking about possibly having an MT over there. Everyone gets kind of excited and wants to go. Secretary Seol totally volunteers herself to do stuff and Yoo-shik comes running to look for her HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. She is not a great secretary at all I must say.

I am guessing the latest webtoon Ep 88 ending mentioned "someone" came earlier than expected becos of that day, means Miso is pregnant? it seems the story will move to one month after their marriage next week.

Oooh yes I do think so!

Thought it was too big of a spoiler to give away but ahhhhh so glad you're here to discuss this too!!!!!!! I seriously can't wait to see what their life after marriage is like, because can Young-joonget any more romantic than he already is right now???

  8. I’ve been wondering why some people are annoyed at Mi-so’s eldest sister’s concern for her. Is it purely due to a cultural difference, in which non-Asian societies view it as unwarranted that someone older dishes out advice? I dunno, because to me her older sister must have been trying to play the emotional role of mother since they lost theirs so like, I’m not surprised that she’s always so worried and fussing over her youngest sisters. They’re sisters! That’s what we Asians do!

But yeah, very possible a difference in our cultural proclivities.

I personally don't agree with #3...I mean it set up the circumstance for the kidnapping, but he was in no way responsible for the actions of the kidnapper. The kidnapper caused the kidnapping to happen, not Sung Yeon. Although I do find it hard to feel sympathy for Sung Yeon, at least with the way the webtoon wrote him. I wonder if the drama would find a way to make him a sympathetic character. But right now in the drama my non-sympathizing with him has mostly to do with LTH's sub-par acting (sorry LTH, I really love your face and your smile but :().

    Spoiler

You're right, he's not the direct cause but Sung- yeon did play a major part in the kidnapping happening I feel. It seems unlikely that these two chaebol kids would be left to go anywhere alone without a security detail, so Sung- yeon must have done some work in order to get Young- joon to the spot that he wanted them to be . I don't think Sung- yeon  actually wanted the kidnapping to happen, as evidenced by his guilt so severe that he has to implant himself with some false memories, but he definitely wanted to teach his kid bro a lesson for, I don't know, being outstandingly outstanding? I actually think Lee Tae-hwan is playing the role of a petulant child quite well-- every time he tells Young- joon that he wants to "forgive" him I'm like oh wow you little. Haha, but yeah, he's being outacted by both Park Seo- joon and Park Min-young but it's not really his fault. He needs more time aw

  10. Young-joon's outward narcissism is

    Spoiler

a consequence of his childhood I feel. He was a little stuffy as a child, but I don't think that's odd as a kid who's way ahead of his peers and then some. The way he behaves now seems to be overcompensation for how he's had to shoulder most of the burden for the kidnapping and its fallout, so Mi-so dealing with his behaviour with zero bs taken is really quite telling of how much they've come to know and trust each other. It's really lovely that their relationship transcends that of just him being, you know, the oppa who looked after her when she was in a scary place as a kid, because it equalises everything.

He was there when she needed him, and now she's there when he needs her. Sweet.

I also think that Sung-yeon's a sad child inside that tall, dashing author everyone views him as, but if anyone is interested as to why Young-joon can't be civil to him ever, here's a list of things that Sung-yeon did to his kid brother:

    Spoiler

    1. Bullied him in school together with their classmates when they were in the fourth grade

    2. Abandoned him in a neighbourhood slated for redevelopment under the guise of wanting to show him the amusement park that he claimed their dad had already built

    3. Basically caused the kidnapping to happen

    4. Took over Young-joon's clothes, room, and memories when Young-joon returned from the hospital with multiple physical and mental scars

    5. (Not his fault but) Was a direct factor in Young-joon's decision to pretend that he had amnesia about the whole kidnapping ordeal so that their parents wouldn't have to fret about sending Sung-yeon to the psychiatric ward for further treatment

    6. Generally the reason why Young-joon can't (for the moment) tell Mi-so that he's Real Deal Oppa--Young-joon doesn't want Mi-so to remember the horrific ordeal so he can't go up to her and say "Hi it's me, remember when we were trapped in that house together and watched that lady hang herself?"

    7. Also the reason why Young-joon had to change his name from Sung-hyun to Young-joon

So yeah... I pity Sung-yeon but I don't think Young-joon needs to be civil, at any rate. It's really sad but I promise it'll get all better!

i haven't been able to find that tweet, was it on daum/ naver/ any korean site? shouldn't that news be quite big?

Hello chingu, would you have the link for it? :( I know the novel author was involved, but i also heard the webtoon author was as well, along with 2 other writers...

Sports Chosun reported on it here . Apparently the original scriptwriter Jung Eun-young worked on the script up to Episode 4, and was replaced by scriptwriters Baek Sun-woo and Choi Bo-rim from Episode 5 onwards.

I don't see like a huge difference in the writing so far but we'll see. Also the original novelist of WWWSK is Jung Kyung-yoon, and the manhwa artist Kim Myung-mi, and I don't really see these names around...? I dunno man haha.

I know someone said ChanSung's acting was lacking but I'm really liking seeing him all hoity-toity about his frugality and opposing need to keep up his "Gwi-Nam" high class image. He keeps getting little bit roles so nice to see a little more expansion of his current bit role ha.

    1

LOVED his expressions hahaha, they were pretty on point in my opinion! Chansung is definitely not the best actor around but I like how he's inhabited his Gwi-nam role so far. I'm super invested in why he's so miserly and how he and Ji-ah will go from enemies to, well, not enemies! Ji-ah is so sweet though, I'm so glad she's nothing like her FMW character haha.

I heard that the scriptwriter has been replaced, so I'm still crossing my fingers that they 1) follow the novel/webtoon as closely as possible, 2) continue writing Mi-so as the intelligent woman as she is, and 3) giveeeee usssss all the skinship we need and require and everything!!

I just went to backread your livecapping lol, too funny! Thank you and all the rest for recapping! I use a Chinese app that provides live voiceover translation during streaming (with a very swoony-over-psj and spoiler laden translator, lol) so I don’t have to read livecaps but it sure is funny to read and laugh with y’all!

Haha it truly is v fun to be doing this alongside other people who love WWWSK as much as you do! My Korean is seriously rusty though so I’m surprised that I could understand as much as I did hahaha.

I’m seriously happy with all the side plots though—they don’t take up too much time while also doing some great world building. I laughed too hard at the whole Ji-ah/Gwi-nam debacle today!

@qynn yeah if I don’t remember wrongly, she thought Sung-yeon was Real Deal Oppa first before meeting CEO Park and asking him for deets. I feel like the drama is trying to polish up the timeline here, so I’m fine with it hehe. First kiss happens after the truth comes to light so we gotta wait for a bit more :(

  14. So I was thinking about it and yeah, Young-joon is totally right. It’s all about the timing, and when it comes to Mi-so, he’s failing terribly at that front. No matter his inexperience at love or generally at life, the worst timing ever that Young-joon’s missed has to be for telling Mi-so the truth. When you have someone who’s already blogged about his ‘kidnapping experience’ to the whole world and you’ve just kept everything inside because you’re an insanely kind person who could never bear to see anyone suffer, that’s missed timing.

Do you hear me Young-joon??? DON’T MISS THAT FIRST KISS TIMING ANYMORE ALRIGHT I KNOW YOU WON’T.

Wow.. This takes the cake, me tearing at Ep6 of a drama? :( Let the angst begin!!!

PSJ's eyes as he struggled to contain his emotions "because..you were Miso, you were Kim Mi-So"... my heart broke. :bawling: Very tight story telling still, managing to weave around chapters well.

      Reveal hidden contents

(Cos in the webtoon she doesn't ask him at all, from what I recall...so this version is an outright fib by YoungJoon) *goes back to read*

    I love the Gwi-Nam Ji-Ah enmity lol..

    In the webtoon

    Spoiler

it was done in the form of a monologue so I kinda love that he said it outright himself here!

@kaoriharang I don’t think she fully buys Sung-yeon’s story, mainly because she is so intelligent and can tell that something weird is going on up in there. How can the two stories be so divergent, and if so, who is she gonna believe? Clearly she leans towards Young-joon being Real Deal Oppa, but like Sung-yeon actually wrote a story about it. So yeah, Mi-so is between a rock and a hard place now....

  17. Mi-so now thinks that the oppa must be Lee Sung-yeon and asks Young-joon about it. He confirms that the boy must be hyung (WHY OMG). Mi-so asks about the wounds on his ankles then, and Young-joon tells her that they’re merely scars he got as a child. His voice is cold as he asks her if she’s been nice to him all day because she thought he was her oppa. She apologises and you can see the light in his eyes go out nuuuuuu.

Mi-so meets Sung-yeon, who’s come to the company AGAIN, and he tells her that he didn’t see her when he came yesterday. He apologises for not telling her earlier about being brothers with Young-joon and her face is just crestfallen at his name. They move to a cafe and she tells him everything. She asks if he can’t remember anything and he says that it was too traumatising at the time. They try to match up their memories of the incident, and he tells her about how Young-joon used to bully him when they were younger. As Young-joon was much more intelligent and able to make more friends, Sung-yeon was bullied mercilessly in the fourth grade. Mi-so is confused by the way that Young-joon and Sung-yeon’s stories are the exact opposite of each other.

Young-joon is super angsty about Mi-so and happens to spot them at the cafe they’re in. He’s so sad noooo. Mi-so is very much taken aback by what she’s discovered today, and very confused as well. She looks at the caramel sweets and wonders. Young-joon sits at home and Mi-so comes in?? Dang.

So she basically is in for overtime I guess. While looking for books, she comes across a file and finds her old resume in it. Aw he kept it! She gasps at how she used to be lol, and reads through the other resumes as well. They’re all much more well qualified than she was then, and she’s confused AGAIN. Why was she picked over them? Young-joon appears and asks if she wants to know why she was chosen over the rest.

She says yes and he walks closer.

    “Because it was Mi-so.

    Because it was Kim Mi-so.”

He FINALLY CALLED HER BY HER NAME OMGGGGGGJFJF

  18. Young-joon spots the claw machine again and tries again and again and fails so badly HAHAHAHAHA. Two kids laugh at him for sucking so bad at it and calls him a jobless man and he tells them that everything they use is made by his company and that he’s a chaebol HAHAHAHA. He then goes all THIS IS ALL ABOUT TIMING and finaaaaaaally succeeds omg hahahaha he’s too pleased.

He gets back to the office and proudly gifts Mi-so with what he’s won. She’s very touched and starts to tear up. She apologises for not being able to remember, and he’s all confused as to why she keeps behaving this way. Ji-ah steps in at the wrong time to ask about coffee orders and Mi-so runs out all flustered as well.

At the coffee shop Mi-so sees a particular brand of caramel sweets and had a flashback to when she was kidnapped and the oppa gave her the same sort of sweets to calm her down. She buys a packet together with the coffee.

Ji-ah spots the sweets and asks if she’s giving it to her crush lol. Mi-so says that it’s just for someone she is thankful towards. Ji-ah tells her about a new story on Morpheus’ website that’s supposedly autobiographical in nature and about a kidnapping, and Mi-so asks to see it. It contains details about the kidnapping that she remembers and she deduces that Oppa’s name must be Lee Sung.....yeon. Oh no.
