I haven't watched Hwarang because of the female lead.I can't like the girl.Is it that sad?? I am currently watching WHTMF too.Omg PHS is hilarious:lol:I don't remember who recommended it to me but thank you:) Otherwise I wouldn't watch it is so long...

BTW, I can help with the trans (I can't do the full trans but I can give you guys a summary from time to time.) Full trans takes so much time for me and I have other translations.Just don't want me to write in Hangul. I am not that good at that.

The story is not sad, just that PHS's King character is sad, but I will give the credit to his acting, cause he portrayed the sadness and inner struggle really well.

I do not think Hwarang is a good drama:tongue: , but PHS shines in it. Skip Ahro (Go Ara)'s crying scene and you will survive Hwarang. :D

Not really sure what time you might need to ask @Killa92 she saw it earlier but it was already the credit part

I can't bring myself to watch it again coz it still hurts :( I'm watching WHTMF instead. i remeber watching hwarang raw and then i have to face same pain watching it with sub. it is the his  SMJ role that hit me so hard just by looking at him..am i the only one who felt it or you guys too?

We felt it too, we ranted so much about it in Hwarang thread, that the moderator closed it down. Perhaps it's because you've been his fan since his ZE:A days, but SMJ converted me to become PHS's fan. SMJ character, is sad, deep and beautiful, and I think so far, it's his best performance (just my opinion, please don't hate me cause I know how everybody adores AMH ). AMH is cute, smart, but SMJ.. I can never get enough of him.

I was thinking maybe we start with wordpress and see how it would go then if we would have enough members, get a paid domain...  In tge meanwhike we start requesting uaa that we will be forming a club for international fans and maybe they would recognize us and give us some support.

Of course we will be needing the assistance of fans with korean background.  So we can translate korean text...

This fansite will be a joint venture from all of us here in this thread.

wordpress.org or wordpress.com? Sorry I am always confused with these two, which one is the paid and free?

I had registered hyungsikness.blogspot.com  before someone grab it . No surprise, parkhyungsik.blogspot.com was taken by someone. All of us will be the admin.

But if we want wordpress, can someone help to register? I am not very familiar with the free wordpress site. if can get parkhyungsik.wordpress will be great.

forum would be difficult so i guess this forum is enough for us. setting up new forum in the website will have many threads opened by fans (i don't like this idea hahha) bigger means cost is more. i suggest a simple site like many artists have. no interaction website, just information website.

i don't think they have the right to do that because our website is a fan site. to open a fan site, we don't need approval from anyone. just like fanstagram and fb group/page. even his ig is not his full name. so i guess we are okay :) yup i was thinking about free domain too. wordpress has nice interface but blogspot is easier to maintain :D

Oh.. I mean if we use parkhyungsik.com, it might look like his official website. I think they can shut down as it is indeed his full name and looks like impersonation to be official website.

    Blogspot... everyone??

paid website looks official :) i have checked. www.parkhyungsik.com/www.parkhyungsik.net/www.hyungsikness.com/www.hyungsikness.net is still available. from website we couldn't gather members unless we open a forum for interaction, which is useless coz we are here hehe. but from website we can update his latest projects, photos, bio etc. minimal and clean look of the website. from the website we can create links to here, ig and fb page/group. so, we can get more fans this way.

I like the idea of real site too. But paid domain and hosting with forum will cost >USD100 per year. The setup/design is not difficult, but I don't know how to setup a forum. With forums, we need moderators. If the site grows really big (judging by PHS's popularity, I think it will grow) we will need pro IT people to deal with bugs and viruses. There will be anti-fans too.

Will PHS's agency shut down our site later, claiming we did not get the authorization?

Ahhhh... unless we open in free domain - blogspot.com or wordpress.com.

Yes haha for me i really dont like it anybody with me on this? Lols

I didn't notice they looked a bit strange until you pointed out. If the black is red, they would have looks like Iron Man's.

They were not too bad compared to those lady-like leather shoes, although I wouldn't like to have these as sneakers too.

He still looks best with something like these. PHS really fits any clothes well.

I always like PHS fashion even that green jacket during his wrap up party but I really dun like that pair of shoes he was wearing in Singapore korea travel fair

Haha you're like me.. keep staring at the shoes. But this one is actually (slightly) nicer than the first press conference for SWDBS.

I think it's all from the same sponsor (correct me if I am wrong) - first press con, (I didn't notice what he wore in second press con), in SWDBS during the beach trip with BS, a few times in his Ahn Min Hyuk working days, the hug session with Jisoo. I was screaming a few times to myself, someone should reject the sponsorship from this particular shoe designer. They're fuglyyyyy... :confounded: Even PHS's gorgeousness can't save them. The jean's light color simply made the shoes even more jarring.

Ok.  So let's start..  All in favor of

    HyungSikness International Fan Club...

Now..  How to proceed?? This is the first time that i'm doing this?  Do i need to register and trademark the work HyungSikness?  If so..  Where??  Do i need to make a new website for that??  I need help....

PHS is first celebrity that i am obsessed with.  Apart for yys (he is mainly an idol)

So we can then add more members.

Hmm.. I tried to started one when I was a teenager for my favourite Taiwanese singer by writing a letter and proposal to the label company, but nothing came out from that. I don't think his company will support. What you can do is maybe open a blog account and we keep updating pictures etc into it.

The concern is on the copyright of the pictures. Two of my videos of PHS were recently removed by JTBC and KBS's request on copyright ground.

they always attended events at SK, and all events went smoothly. here is always like this hehe.. unorganized. their people (in black outfit) were everywhere but nothing much happened. they didn't even do anything about the chair. they should check first right? Meet and Greet is even worse LOL. they put a table so i expected them to sit and there will be signing session. but what happened was the fans had to receive that toy with the table in the middle  2 hours was not enough but maybe they should cut off unnecessary questions during the interview

Yes.. I was wondering what's the purpose of the table too. To avoid hugging? :tongue: Sorry.. but that won't deter any of us/them to hug him  he's simply too gorgeous. In SK, the interviewer will send the questions for approval from the celebrity's agency first. I think maybe they didn't do it this time.

    Hello everyone,

I am brand new - this is my first post on any forum, ever. Only PHS could inspire me to get involved, incite me to find out more about him. Giggle. Thank you all for contributing to this thread. It is very entertaining, often funny, and quite insightful at times - I have learned so much about him already.

I watched the Viu Singapore feed on FB and then was on & off IG very frequently for the next 1.5 hours, but it bothers me that I missed his live IG. I set my account to receive notifications of his posts, but I didn't get anything. For those with more experience than me (only been on IG bout 1 month - again, only induced by PHS), you have to be on IG right then, right? Might be a stupid question, but do you need to be viewing his account specifically at that time to get the notice, or can you be doing other stuff on IG and still get the notice? I feel like I was so close so gotta figure out how it works so that I will not miss it again. Sorry moderator, if that is slightly off topic.

Back on point, here are some of my views regarding the SG event:

    • Seemed unorganized, and as a result both PHS & PBY were put in awkward positions. Why was the screen so small, and why were their chairs put directly in front of it? Also, it seemed as if neither had been briefed beforehand that they would be watching themselves on screen, they seemed surprised when it was time to view scenes. Was it just me who thought this? It didn't seem like either knew a kiss scene would be played. Although, it was completely cute how he went to hide offstage. Good thing he had some cards to hold onto, because he used those several times to cover his reactions and shyness. PBY was better at controlling her reactions. This contrast really showed us how truthful PHS was when he said during interviews that it is no use for him to hide his emotions because everyone can see them on his face.
    • Seemed rushed. Those poor fans who actually won the tickets to meet them. They must have waited so long, and then they got ushered onto the stage for quick photos and shooed right off. Especially the first batch, who barely got to shake his hand or get a hug. Was the event promoted as a group photo op, or does "Meet & Greet" really translate into what happened? I am so new to this fan experience, is what happened the norm? I guess I was expecting something similar to what happened when he & Jisoo did the White Day hug event. Every fan/winner was greeted individually and at least got to say hi. My impression was that PHS felt bad that there was so little time/interaction with the winners. As some of them walked off the stage, he tried to shake their hands or say hi/bye.
    • PHS has a pretty good grasp of English, at least understanding it anyway. Whenever the MC asked a question, most of the time he seemed to be able to answer directly without asking the translator or because PBY answered first.
    • He got really excited when they started talking about food. I am a pretty new fan but even I know don't get between PHS and his food!

Would love to hear what everyone else's impressions were of the event. Did you guys think he looked fresh or tired? If anyone can answer my question about that live IG notification thing, I'd be grateful - thank you!

Yes i agree. The event is unorganized. The stage is so small and lack of translator in first round, no one guide PHS and PBY where to stand. Even the hip hop dsncers were surprised by the small stage. The review scenes were too long that it became mass rewatch swdbs and they really looked surprised at this section. I think the mc threw in some awkward not in the list question to them. At some point i thought PHS was flustered by his comments. His face became redder.

He is able to answer questions that are on cue card, but i think the translator was too slow or totally did not explain some of mc 's question to them,  totally depended on the fact that they had already read through the cue card.

The poor mascots... the costume must be too heavy.. PHS helped the white mascot to get up stage. So sweet
