Scarlet Heart the only show that basically kills of it's whole cast.

I have been MIA for quite some time now and for a good reason. I seriously cannot bear what has happened and what is happening. I am just glad that tonight is the last episode and after this I can either finally get my life back or be miserable cause I will hate Monday's again.

What makes me most sad is Soon Duk could not even utter her last words to Eun. She literally just died. WHY?!?! Justice for this couple!

So, Jung and Soo come. Yo shoots Eun in the chest. I'm crying I can't.

Don't quote me on this but I think it's something along the lines of "you're only a thief who has stolen the seat from my son."

I think she may have been directing that to So as he is present in that scene as well and the son she is referring to is Jung. Because Queen Yoo still doesn't consider So as her son she wanted Jung to be the next King but by age order the next in line is in fact So.

So looks like Yo goes crazy and dies.... I guess this is karma.

As expected So becomes King. Baek Ah looks happy for him in comparison to Jung who looks rather upset and angry. Won's face is just like "oh s***" better suck up to him now or I'm gonna die.

 

Rough Translation

Wook : "You said that trying to be King and  having your heart, wanting both was wrong. But now you are the King's woman. How am I to accept this?"

Then he breaks the bracelet he gave her. What once held so much meaning between them has been destroyed by his own hands. I guess it's really over. 

 

I like how they give us the preview for an episode that will air next week without even showing it's prior episode. Teasing LVL 10000. Can't handle this RN. Sorry I couldn't translate the whole thing my Chinese ain't great and my Korean is no good either hahaha.

I do apologise for not writing a review for the last two episodes as I have been very busy. To those who read and enjoy my posts I am really sorry but I have just been so busy  I will try to get some sort of analysis or review out for key scenes for the following episodes but I do not know if it will be possible due to my pile of exams. Nevertheless there are still other Eclipses who have posted their analysis and they are amazing. 

I am so excited for this week's episodes and very very very nervous. After seeing all these updates I'm just like OMG I don't know whether I should be scared or not. The kiss scene, the bed scene, Soon Duk and Eun's scene (I will for sure cry my eyes out, please have mercy), and OMG SO BECOMING KING... NOW THAT'S SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO!

Honestly I hate to say this but I can't wait for this drama to finish because I really need my life back. HAHAHA. I only live for Monday's and Tuesday's atm and the rest of my week is just a blur. Does anyone feel that too? It's not just me right??

When the series is complete I can't wait to marathon it. Whenever I marathon anything, this is me:

Episode 15: Eun and Soon Duk

The scene where Eun and Soon Duk spend the night in the bathing area was EVERYTHING.

Two young angels dressed in white reflecting their purity and innocence. Eun shows off his random but amazing skills where he can create animals out of towels which Soon Duk is really surprised and excited by. With her praise Eun wishes to show off all his skills to his wife. They are finally sharing a loving relationship that is less awkward and does not show that it is in fact forced.

Eun and Soon Duk put their boats into the bathing area and race to see who will win. Being the competitive and childish person Eun is he realises he is losing and is unhappy. However Soon Duk is shown to understand him and his personality and purposely does not try as hard letting him win. She really loves him and wants him to be happy and this is reflected by her huge smile when he announces that he has won yet again. Although they are both young Soon Duk is definitely the wiser one and the differences in their personalities allow for them to mesh together like yin and yang.

As punishment for losing Eun gets to hit Soon Duk on the wrist and we are able to see that her wrist is all blotchy and red most likely from losing in the past as well. This further highlights that she has always been considerate to make sure Eun is happy. He doesn't hit her and says that his hands hurt form hitting her too much. This I think shows Eun's growth. Like the child he is, in the past if she lost she'd be punished, if she didn't listen she'd be punished. But he realises that winning and losing doesn't have to result in reward and punishment as it is all fun and games.

She gifts him a slingshot and he gives her an incense pouch.

He thinks she doesn't like it and says, "That's strange all pretty girls like it."

We see a flash back of when they were young and he said the same thing. "That's strange, all pretty girls like flower rings."

My lord these 2 gems are beyond adorable together. And the best thing is their love story started when they were young. Those stories are always the sweetest (and end the most tragically). 

Eun realises what he says and he stumbles over his words trying to recover from (most probably the first) compliment he has ever given her. She is so happy to hear what he has said and grabs him and kisses him letting him know that she knows perfectly well what he means with tears in her eyes. The kiss was one of pure innocence and full of joy. I loved everything about it 

 

"Even flowers from a pumpkin are still flowers." I believe this saying means that although flowers that sprout from the vines of pumpkins are quite ugly but they are indeed still flowers which in nature is something beautiful. Soon Duk is just so wise. You have a great wife Eun and I think you've realised it tonight.

"I want two sons and two daughters. I won't have it any other way."

"Will kissing make me pregnant?"

These two lines made me squeal with happiness. Eun wants to start a family with her I was happy with tears at that point. But when she didn't know how children are conceived I died laughing. She's so wise yet innocent. It was sooooo cute to watch.

"It would have been nice to live like this from the beginning." This line really strikes my heart. We all know their fate and it is s cruel that two innocent children are caught up in such an evil world. Eun has no idea how to harm anything and he can barely defend himself and Soon Duk has absolutely no fear and is willing to do whatever it takes to prevent Eun from being caught. We witness how child like and young they are through the activities they do in their spare time. They make animals and play boat racing for crying out loud. I cannot fathom why their ending is so brutal and tragic. 

Can we all cherish how precious this moment was PLSSSSS. My heart is slowly cracking thinking about what is to come for these two angels

I am beyond glad that Eun and Soon Duk didn't meet their fate this Ep but I can't say the same for next Ep. The wait is too bloody long. OMG.

I'm pretty sure So will kill Eun out of mercy. What is happening to poor baby Jung?!?! My heart cannot handle this. Literally someone dying every episode.

OMG and then Yo has an arrow pointed at Soo but So sees. Yo looks like he's going insane too. I hope he dies next week it will be one less evil person to deal with.

Episode 14 : Wook

So I just watched Ep 14 with subs and there is just one thing I really wanna get out of my system...

WOOK YOU PIECE OF S***. WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?!?! 

I have mentioned just his appearance really ticks me off and oh boy do I have my reasons. 

When So is to marry King Mu's eldest daughter. Be careful of your words Wook. They might come back and slap you in the face  I will be most looking forward to when that happens.

"I am asking you if Hae Soo had anything to do with the decisions that you made."

"Yes. I did consider her."

Bull f****** s***. My God I got soooooo angry. You're telling me you double-crossed Yo to double-cross the King and this was all in Soo's best interest? Are you sure it wasn't in YOUR best interest in getting the throne. Unfortunately for you you always seem to be a step behind last time you had to be loyal to King Mu and this time you have to be loyal to Yo. Soo has always been your source of excuses. All your actions and mistakes you blame them on your love and care for her. BOY YOU NEED YO STOP BEFORE I CRACK MY LAPTOP SCREEN!

Did you know you were going to leave her trapped in Yo's dangerously well made web for the next 4 years of his reign? Did you know So the person whom Soo loves now is going to get hurt and this will affect her? Unlike So he does not think of the external factors that can affect Soo. In the previous Ep when Soo begged So to spare Wook's life So did it because that's what Soo wanted and because he truly loves her he will do whatever he can for her. So Wook you do not get the right to waltz in here and say you made these decisions because of Soo! You're lying through your f****** teeth and you need to get your head out of your f****** a***. 

I mean just look at the words he uses in the preview where he refers to So as dog. Wook honestly you're the dog cause you're always on your knees in front of Yo. You're nothing but his b**** and you have to follow him around like the DOG YOU ARE because YOUR life depends on it. So is doing it because SOO's life depends on it. 

"Do you not have a dog you can use, Your Majesty?" (Wook you are his dog)

What I can't wait for is when Soo finds out Wook was the mastermind behind killing King Mu and that will for sure end any feelings she has for Wook. Wook you should know better than anyone that one should not be so greedy. The pure shock in Soo's eyes. But from what I can see Wook has absolutely NO REMORSE for what he has done. He is toxic. AND THIS GUY IS AS GOOD AS DEAD TO ME. 

Tell me I am not the only one that is exploding with anger because of Wook. I honestly cannot believe that I use to like him more than So. KHN you are amazing but FARRRRR OUT I HATE WOOK's GUTS! Wook is so far gone like there is nothing that can save him.

I have to say I am glad that tonight's episode actually got aired because if I had to wait a week to find out what happens next episode I'd probably beg Yo to kill me in Soo's place.

That being said too much has happened and it's making me very stressed. Just when you think things are going right they go left. Seriously nothing EVER goes to plan.

And I hate Wook so much and all he did was speak 2 lines in this episode. I just can't deal with him. His face just looks like that of an evil person. Like what happened to the kind loving 8th prince?! I actually cannot believe I use to like you Wook. I SHIPPED you and Soo and this is what you give me in return. We are over. Yo is just the usual up to no good but it's doing my head in. Then there's Won and Chae Ryung like why what are you guys doing. UGHHHH. Why guys why!?!?! It's like there the tunnel that where you can see the light at the end and a tunnel which is pitch black and you guys go for that tunnel. Especially Chae Ryung you should know better!

That is true but remember all marriages especially those of princes have to go through the King's approval. And with the state that Wang Mu was in I highly doubt that he would have said yes. There were a lot of missed opportunities for our OTP because of many external circumstances and a lot were caused by Soo's inability to realise that Wook was no good for her. That in itself is because of Soo's naive decisions to continuously look at Wook when So was giving himself to her but I think the overall experience allowed her to grow. 

I'm gonna wait till the subs come out and do a review/analysis  Thanks for giving your input!
