Hyesun's absolutely a girl-crush. I'm a straight fangirl and never ever did i thought I'll be crushing on an actress this much.
I would agree she's a little bit of Sobong. As a fangirl of hers for 4 years and from all her off screen appearances, i can deduce she's a tomboy at heart, cute, charismatic and bubbly... shy to strangers and opens up and goes crazy with close friends.

It's getting very quiet here strangely but that doesn't take away the pride we all have for Hyesun. The Mr Queen thread in Soompi is filled with praises and accolades from the general audience for Hyesun that I feel so proud as her fan!
Can't be happier enough for her success and increased recognition from Mr Queen. Her acting as always never disappoints. Im just enjoying every minute we are having from her every precious moment in the drama and I can't believe we've just 6 episodes left.
I guess all of us here, her long time supporters, are preferring to take a backseat now (as compared to her last drama last year where we were actively posting lol) and contented with watching the show/bts every week, search/read her news and sns updates; and savouring her solid performance before she books in for her next drama project.
@immorethant i don't see Hyesun at all lol. Case of wrong identity?

Episode 12 was absolutely amazing and the ending was a shocker but a clever one indeed. This drama have one of the best cliffhanger endings that make one look so forward to the next episode lol.
Without doubt, KJH is a really good actor, and I don't want to repeat how ingenious of the casting team who cast him with Hyesun. The dynamics and chemistry of these two is what make the show shines. And enough to leave me glued to the show despite of me not being a saeguk fan and the heavy politics, though I must say I can watch anything with Hyesun anyway.
It's so amusing that King can talk so much about the dish with a mere scribbled drawing
. I don't know but I'm sure he knows it's the Queen! With these heavy politicking in the episode, seeing Sobong dressed like a cute man turning up at the Royal Kitchen thinking no one knows who she is, is such a lively scene. Enjoyed her cooking show so much with the Royal Physician and Royal Chef providing so much laughs!
Byeongin is getting obnoxiously irritating and obsessed. I hate it that he has literally no respect for the King which took away whatever pity I have left for this character. Wonder why some people still have that SLS.

Love that so many people are enjoying this drama so much. And I'm enjoying reading all the posts here.
Can't wait for real SY's backstory, King to stop hating on Queen, King &Queen's childhood story (they did had a child King and Queen filming), BH's crazy antics and everything more on Queen. Not a fan of the adopted cousin link, I'm with one of you here thinking he's not that simple, probably a dark one.
Absolutely love the synergy of Queen and her 2 followers, Hongyeon and Court Lady Choi. I swear these 3 are so hilarious and adorable together!

Exactly! They showed all dramas in this sat-sun slot yet they blatantly skipped Hyesun's. Couldn't believe it because at first I was so confident it will be on Netflix. Totally agree Vincenzo will be aired because that's the show of a popular top star. Im so pissed with Netflix...
I hope the drama is a HIT and Netflix will regret their choice for doing that to Hyesun!

Kim Jung Hyun, Shin Hye Sun, And More Hold First Script Reading For Historical Fusion Drama
Oct 29, 2020tvN’s upcoming drama “No Touch Princess” has released its first look at the script reading with the cast!“No Touch Princess” (previously known as “Queen Cheorin”) is a historical fusion drama about a man living in modern times whose soul gets trapped in the body of a queen from the Joseon Dynasty.
At the script reading were director Yoon Sung Sik, writers Park Gye Ok and Choi Ah Il, and actors Shin Hye Sun, Kim Jung Hyun, Bae Jong Ok, Kim Tae Woo, Na In Woo, Kim In Kwon, Yoo Min Kyu, Jo Sun Joo, Cha Jung Hwa, Song Min Hyung, Go In Bum, and Jeon Bae Soo.
In her first historical drama role, Shin Hye Sun plays Kim So Yong, the titular queen with the soul of a modern man. As a man, her character was named Jang Bong Hwan and was a chef working in the Blue House, the South Korean presidential residence.
Kim Jung Hyun plays King Cheoljong, who appears to be a weak and easily manipulated figurehead on the surface, but has a hidden sharp and strong side.
Bae Jong Ok plays Queen Sunwon, the true power behind the throne who raised King Cheoljong to his current position. Kim Tae Woo plays Kim Jwa Geun, Queen Sunwon’s younger brother, and one of the keys to her power.
A source from the drama stated, “In expressing their characters’ charms, this meeting of actors brought this unique fusion historical comedy to life. There are lots of laughs, romantic excitement, and political thrills to be had in this setup of putting a freewheeling modern man’s soul into the body of a Joseon queen, who must live by strict rules.”

The drama started filming since June so the script reading may be some time before June like what @immorethant said. Tvn might only release the script reading clip recently because it is confirming the broadcast date and starting drama promotions now. Probably filming will end before the first broadcast, i guess? Because Hyesun is so busy filming now that she don't even have time to promote her movie.
I don't think this will be a drama with no romance. No Touch romance might mean the romance is subtle because of the nature of the man-in-woman main character. It's an adaptation of the Chinese drama though Im not sure if it'll be exactly the same, seriously it's not possibly there's no romance. I didnt watch the Chinese version before but I'll be looking forward to this drama based on this line-up of stellar cast. I think drama posters will come soon as well... can't wait!!!!

I think they meant they hope the special episode will be a pleasant gift for fans who feel sad about the show ending already and can't get enough of Soyong and Cheoljong. Not that we don't get a happy ending.
