    Ep 7 impression (the date, the twins, the poem problem and another setback) 

     

    Cha eun ho, that's a bit mean when you pull Danyi over for extra work just to make danyi late for her date with JSJ. but,  my heart break when you see danyi forgot the only copy with her name  in favor to go out with jsj. 

     

    Danyi-JSJ date....went ABSOLUTELY MESS LOLZ. as Eun Ho said, it's the triple effect from absolute shock.  a Noona with more than "1 or 2 years"age gap, a divorcee and with a 12 years old little girl!! :joy:  falling utensil, water dropping, and also HICCUPS!

     

    Gyeoroo in nutshell today. Mr Bong fight to have poetry collection is remarkable and Jae Min concern that it won't sell well also need to think of. both has their own strong reason. and thank you Eun Ho, for trying to be peacekeeper and be with Mr Bong when the poet he's been endorsing turn up dead at the end. :tears:


    Mrs Seo also remarkable today, defending her own ex-husband from Jae Min angry rant about their divorce. it's their problem,Mr President.Try not to cross the line, please. :expressionless:

     

    a bit tidbit with JSJ, is that he follow his mom surname. we'll see if it will carry another meaning. 

     

    Cha Eun Ho  and his twins subconcious. a very goodlooking and narcissistic like him. at first, it's funny with the same pose and all. but towards the end... :cry:

    uhm, the inheritance fight is his mom tho. he fight for it against his stepdad after his mom died.

    Ep 6 Impression (When Jealousy  Strike...Eun Ho)

     

    First, Eun Ho- Danyi-JSJ first "get-together" prove to be exciting little thing :lol:. the private exchange between Eunho-danyi and JSJ judging them, puahaahaha.  Eun Ho jealous expression, A++++.  :joy:

     

    Eun Ho word to Danyi "im your home.you can come to me," in another setting can be really romantic, but in their situation, danyi cluelessness, aiyoo :joy:. Eun Ho turn bloody red after Dan yi questioning that line really get me :lol:. is that CGI or just LJS turning red for real? ;) nonetheless, he's not amused by danyi-JSJ newfound relationship. 

     

    Danyi,  who not believing Cinderella story anymore, perhaps didnt really let go of that fairytale ending. the way she speak fondly about JSJ in front Eunho seems to indicate otherwise. 

     

    Danyi really has some of the worst newbie luck. i dont know if Ms Go reasoning really valid(she seems vindictive not to let Danyi have upperhand :crazy:) , but they can just add Mrs Seo name and still retain Danyi name, maybe as assistant? poor Haerin too for always have to deliver bad news to Danyi. :unsure:

     

    Haerin one-sided love, sigh. she so head over heel over eunho that she always leave her confession letter on Eunho bookshelf everytime she came there wasted. I wonder if Eunho knew about the letters and just put it back at the place as a way to tell Haerin that he will not reciprocate her feelings? i mean,it his bookshelf in the first place. and i guess she start to question  something when she see the :wub: eyes Eunho gave to Danyi at the end. 

     

    Kang Byeon Jun mysteriousness reveal another secret. HE'S EUNHO FATHER!!! and it seem like even danyi didnt know KBJ writer is Eunho father in the first place? \  JSJ will not be his stepbrother, right? :blink: that's too makjang!! 

     

    cant wait for another round of Eunho "Jealousy Fest", when JSJ start making his moves openly. HE'S ASKING DANYI FOR A DATE !!! :smirk:

     

    have some angry teeth brushing from Eunho.:phew:

    EP 5 iMPRESSION (heart matter)

     

    Another day at publishing house and new drama with rookie writer who debut day is coming close. Nervous take over, contract termination sent via fax. Well, roadtrip time for our Hae Rin, Eun Ho and Dan Yi. all went well, due to Dan Yi and her soothing words. :wub:

     

    Such a pretty moment :wub: (PLEASE DONT RUIN THIS BEAUTIFUL FRIENDSHIP WHEN THEY HAERIN LEARN THE TRUTH LATER, Writernim!!)

    Oh dear, that bit with social media updates between the employees make me LOL, especially with them blocking their boss after just 1 post :lol:. but foreal, who will actually follow your boss on socmed anyway? NOT ME DEFINITELY :lol: 

     

    Kang Danyi spirit:thumbsup:. i love that she won't give up and still strive to show her talent. and a bit strategizing, luck  and a little push from Eunho, she finally pull an idea that won't be covert by Miss Go again. and it was such a beautiful idea too. no wonder Miss Go continue being petty by slaving Dan Yi for whole days. 

     

    Eun Ho and Dan Yi went on a date not a date to celebrate Dan Yi first paycheck in 7  years. they looks so comfy and then.....oh god, you two. :sweatingbullets: Eun Ho A+ for trying to get Dan Yi notice what you mean by asking about the significance of the gift she bought for you with her first paycheck, back then  and Dan Yi,.A+ for still being clueless on what he's trying to say :lol:

     

    Danyi-Haerin bonding time reveal Haerin most embedded feelings for Eun Ho why her drunken behavior follow Eun Ho's own pattern. :tears:.

     

    Eun Ho also share what he truly feels about Dan Yi to Nagyeong who can see though his feeling to Dan Yi since aeons ago, even before they break up back then. (oh, god. this girl is back! i love her!! :love:) ah,well. the usual dilemma when you have been friend and has this deep noona/dongsaeng relationship that you didnt know how to proceed with your feeling, and the fear of losing everything if it didnt go well :unsure:

     

    but no worry, he gonna get some high dose of wake up call when he see, that person who danyi has been eating ramen with. :smirk:

    EP 4 Impression (in we confirm about Cha Eun Ho real feeling and where it started)

     

    So after the drunken Eun Ho return home from his short journey to Dan Yi old house, we open at coming of age Eun Ho memories. Dan Yi the dork trying to teach how to take to drink alcohol yet beaten by Eun Ho who seems to know more for someone who just reach 18 :joy:. this where the moment Eun Ho started to notice a slight discomfort when starring at lipstick stain lips Dan Yi.  Eun Ho coming of age ceremony also turn out to be stress reliever night for Dan Yi who has been harassed by her client before. such a cute scene for this two. 

     

    We come back to present to Eun Ho nagged by Dan Yi for his short escape. when she asked where he went,  he just uncomfortably said he went to someone he likes place. which is DAN YI!!:wub: oh, your poor puppy :wub:

     

    Today, eun ho discover that Dan Yi ex has been  lying on his whereabouts. Eun Ho didnt waste anytime giving that guy taste of his own medicine. and force Dong Min to paid his alimony to Dan Yi. now this part, i don't think Dan Yi will appreciate Eun Ho interference, eventho that money will be rightfully hers and her daughter living expenses later. I just that she won't get too upset when she found out. 

     

    Ji Seo Jun first meeting with Eun Ho and Kim Jae Min doesn't go well as expected.  Ji Seo Jun just like anybody in industry are curious about the disappearance of author Kang Byeong Jun who gave all of his books copyrights to newly founded Gyeoroo. it ticks Eun Ho off and almost get physical. 

     

    Kang Byeong Jun authornim right now has been 60% confirmed as Dan Yi' late father who died from cancer. he probably trust Eun Ho to protect his legacy and has the earning from his books to be donated to charity.  it's an open secret between Jae Min and Eun Ho only. The question is, does Dan Yi know about this deal? 

     

    Dan Yi continuously show her strong minded personality. She stand up to herself when Miss Go giving excuses why she took Dan YI idea. awesome scene ,btw. :thumbsup: Dan Yi also getting support from Mrs Seo who admired Dan Yi for trying to learn about marketing. i think you've met a great mentor, Dan Yi-ahh!!:love:

    We finally see the eccentric side of Dan Yi, did Eun Ho really fell for her supposed drinking that whole bottle of hard liquor, whole night? aigoo, you naive eun ho. :joy:. you've known  herfor 20 years lol. 

     

    Dan Yi new work is basically what low level position will do. buy drinks for executive meeting, stamp here and there, water plants, all sort kind of odd jobs.  she learn the hard way that a lot of things changed since 7 years she quit working, like now exist  simple acronyms for drinks all sort of nonsense.  But, she strive to use her talent as copywriter at Gyeoroo when the chance open at work . she work hard. asking superiors for feedback yet it came back useless as her idea was stolen right under her nose. typical newbies problem  at new work place :anguished:.

     

    BTW, i think we got glimpse of Witch No.1 nasty behavior. it's probably going to be an ongoing conflicts, so bring it on, show!! Dan Yi, fighting to be recognize for your own work and talent!!:thumbsup:

     

    Second lead Wi Ha Joon show up today and he as suave as ever with his calm and soft voice talking to his unnamed dog and Dan YI. his talent as book designer is recognized by Jaemin and Haerin. can't wait to see how Eun Ho will bring him into Gyeoroo. 

     

    Cha Eun Ho today show his soft side toward Dan Yi. it show at anything to do with Dan Yi, he's willing to do anything. Offering one of his house to Dan Yi when his current tenant move out.  Changing his work out room so Dan Yi can sleep comfortably. Tried to help Dan Yi at work as much as he can afford to, even though Dan Yi refuse.  He actually  can't live without Dan Yi,  judging by the way he always in hazy drunk night went to Dan Yi place even though he never say hi to them when he got there. he knew when she's happy or when she's unhappy every time he went there.  that last scene hug, convey so many meanings to him :wub:

     

    And in another interesting tidbit, Cha Eun Ho also has no parents as far as we can see (what is it LJS and his running jokes, without having complete set of parent in all his drama:sweatingbullets:)

    its quite common i think. Eli from idol group  U-Kiss married an older women . Ham So Won , former Miss Korea 1997 (she's in her 40s)  married a 24 years old man last year. 

    And its not even happen in Korea. plenty of people in my country also like that. it happen around the world, just not really highlighted like kdrama has done.

    2nd ep impression: (today main focus is Cha Eun Ho!! )

     

    Cha Eun Ho is not a playboy per se, but he did have a lot short lived relationship. today interesting tidbit is that he dated a bisexual woman who cheated him with another woman.:joy: yet they continue becoming friends. me likey. :wub:. he has knack on making friends in such a  interesting way. case in point, his boss and dan yi

     

    we found out today about his relationship with his current bos.  so, he become the youngest chief editor with a company built from the scratch. his boss, Kim Jae Min ways of recruiting him makes me :w00t:. . and to see how a company buiilt with only 2 person growth into such a great publishing company cant be more satisfying :wub:

     

    and his relationship with Kang Dan Yi also unique. she's actually his knight in shining armor, or rather in her school uniform. from a boy who love soccer(yet zero understanding on the rules of the game :joy:) became her errand boy just to pay his gratitude for saving his life and become her most  treasure person in her life.

     

    Kang Dan Yi continue playing hide and seek with Cha Eun Ho in his own house. the weird co-habitation hijink really making me lol. and i love how he caught her red handed in the last scene. :joy:

    1st impression:

     

    I like it. first ep itself has taught me not to rely on hubby and stop working altogether after getting married. anything can happen in future. Dan Yi difficulty finding jobs after 7 years hit damn close to my heart. I'm at mid-20s and still struggling to find stable job. what more like her, a divorcee and out of job for for 7 years and then competing in the same over saturated market for those who just graduated :cold_sweat: . Harsh. 

     

    i vaguely remember that the writer for this drama and INAR franchise really  on female lead centric. so im looking forward for lee nayoung portrayal as Dan Yi  and her interaction with the rest of the actresses in this drama.  she looks gorgeous for someone in her 40s. and her minimal make up in here totally realistic for 37 years old lady and divorcee.

     

    Cha Eun Ho appearance for 1st ep is a bit minimal, but its not really a problem for now.

    5. [+106, -32] It's my first time being turned off by the male lead. The reason Lee Dong Wook even does things is because of his self-interest.. Whether they died because of the illness or it's a death related to the septum, to the family, the death is 100% due to the journalists.. I don't want to watch it now because of Lee Dong Wook.. 
     

    this is what i mean by im frustrated by how his character was written. for underdog character, they make him look like a selfish guy and not someone to be root for unlike Gu. it is his acting, or is it the director problem or the writer really did wrote him like this or is combination of all? 


    another one is No Eul. i know compare to other, WJA is really green in acting. but she is a good one. it was proven in JBL.but here, her character which i supposed to be the "angel guidance" to  Gu, but it actually didnt make people root for her character either.  i wish she is more than potential  loveline for sw or Gu. 

     

     

    i  guess im shocked that  an  inherently good characters thrash by viewers like this.  well, maybe not here, but it definitely mind boggling.

Fighting for what’s right & what  bothers your ethics or values , especially in a profession like that , is something to be lauded.

     

    I do enjoy watching grey characters since it spices up the story. So I can see why JSW ‘s president Goo is getting a lot of attention. Perhaps in the real world , it seems like one needs to be  cunning & conniving to get things done- dramas  like this do intend to bring some level of realism into their story. But like any  drama I watch , I am always bias & wholeheartedly champion the underdog , especially one with a good & kind heart. For me , YJW is that underdog here. He’s faced with situations beyond his control & authority but he takes them on & tries to fight for what’s right . 

    Here for you my fellow Dr Ye fan

     

    aw, thank you @triplem for your kind word and not taking this wrongly. i just..... frustrated by the negativity surrounding his character. probably he looks so gloomy in the first few eps that people feel unconvinced by his underdog character.

     

    in another drama  good vs evil  and no grey area like Life, where main focus a doctor is an underdog fighting injustice, he will be appreciate more.
