^^ You're really behind.

SM stated they wanted to make their comeback stage on Mubank as perfect as possible, so the girls aren't going to be performing their comeback stage for Music Bank until next weekend. However, they're coming back on Music Core & Inkigayo this weekend. A lot of this has to do with Yoona's YAMD schedule only ending early this week T-T and there's also thoughts going around that there's a chance SNSD could possibly end up winning number one for their comeback stage because Mubank does do categories like Inkigayo, instead they do music chart rankings and right now 'Gee' is number one on a lot of charts online and offline, so there's a lot going for the girls, esp if the get another week before coming back on Music Bank.

On a side note let's compare 'Gee's sales right now.

Their ITNW single only sold a little over 10,000 during it's first month. 'Gee' sold the same amount within the first day.

Their first album sold for under 50,000 after the first month, by the end of the week the girls should be at the half way point.

'Gee' is doing extremely well. It has had over 1 million views on GomTV already and it has been around 2-3 days since its release. Also consider that the girls basically haven't done any real promotion work for 'Gee' yet and the album is already selling like hot cakes. Let's hope they start singing the other tracks on radio shows and tv shows so people understand how awesome of an album it is and buy more copies of it ^^

On a very serious side note, can we please stop saying that SNSD will break records once they hit 16,000, because that's not true. I don't care how declining the music industry is in Korea right now compared to the past, the truth of the matter is getting more than 16,000 doesn't mean anything more than them breaking Hyori's record from last year. The only possible way they can break any record is by getting 100,000+ and be the first female group mini-album to do so. Other than that 16,000 is far from a record and I don't like the fact that we're spreading it falsely, it's a good start but if you're going to fairly compare it with SES's stuff the girls are far from breaking any type of record. If you only compare to "recent years", that really defeats the purpose of having the prestige idea of having a record and legacy because it's not long term.
