‘Medical Top Team’ Gwon Sang-Woo, wish for 42.8% of viewing rate

Gwon Sang-Woo in MBC new Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Medical Top Team’ held gosa rites to wish 42.7% of viewing rate.
On 26th MBC new Wednesday-Thursday mini series ‘Medical Top Team’ opened the gosa rites site. At the gosa rites held at Ansung set, there were Kim Do-Hun producer, Gwon Sang-Woo, Jung Ryu-Won, Joo Ji-Hun, and Oh Yeon-Seo.
Gwon Sang-Woo won acclaim by burning written prayer himself and put the money envelope to a pig. He said “I wish this drama to be the most memorable drama in this year.” Jung Ryu-Won, Joo Ji-Hun, and Oh Yeon-Seo also revealed their strong ambitions.

You have to consider the Netizens’ interests so they would consider that your drama is worth watching for. Getting a profitable actor is the number one must-have. Now I want you to take a look at the chart. Please note that this is only from my own perspective or opinion so nothing’s wrong or right. You may share yours too if you want. The comment box is waiting for you.

Back to the chart, it is what I think will draw the line between these dramas. For me the biggest competition here for ‘Inspiring Age’ is Kwon Sang Woo’s medical drama.

‘Medical Top Team’ has all the competitive factors a drama should have. The cast itself is a weapon. Kwon Sang Woo and Ju Ji Hoon in one and add up Jung Ryeo Won. It’s a powerhouse drama. I’m sure Netizens won’t think twice to tune in until the end on this drama unless the writer flops and ruin the momentum.

However, a medical drama can have it’s downside. It’s quite boring and can lead you to information overload with all the medical terms being injected to the viewers. That’s a little turn off for me.

As for ‘Inspiring Age’, since Netizens doesn’t have much that of a passion over Kim Hyun Joong’s acting, I’m sensing the story line will save the day. But hey, who knows, Kim Hyun Joong might nail this one. Let’s not close our doors in this young man. He has a lot to offer. All he needs is a matter of time and experience.  Also, let us not forget the reunion of Jihoo Sunbae and Gaeul. Everybody knows that Jihoo and GaEul isn’t the love team we watched in Boys Over Flowers but some fans are curious and excited on how will they work out as a team.

The team up of Kim Soo Hyun and Jeon Ji Hyun also can make an impact. Jeon Ji Hyun’s last drama was like 10 years ago, so this will mark as her drama comeback after a long time. We knew this lovely actress in movies like ‘Windstruck’ and ‘My Sassy Girl’ so she’s quite loved by the Korean Netizens. But as I’ve said the storyline is kinda off for me, I don’t know maybe the storyline is too childish considering their lead casts are great actors so I expected a more mature drama for them.

There are no definite infos yet for JGS drama so I won’t be saying anything about it yet. But I may say that this drama’s getting a lot of attention because of JGS. Some like it some not. So it’s still a question for me how to judge it. Let’s wait.

Netizens are anticipating the pair up of Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye for the drama ‘Heirs’. We all know how good of an actor LMH is and we adore PSH so much that we would watch her drama no matter how suck up it is, so ‘Heirs’ is quite a competition as well. Krystal from F(x) is one of the casts so add it up to the booster factor!

The bottom line of this battle is, each of them has a weapon to catch the Netizens’ heart. So who will win then? Bias aside, I think it’s either ‘Inspiring Age’ or ‘Medical Top Team’ can bag this one up. Deep story line and execution still is the deciding factor so yeah, either of them can dominate. However, it’s too early to tell but it won’t hurt if we give ourselves a little predictions, won’t it?

Kwon Sang Woo Calls Himself an Outsider

Here′s the spread that Son Tae Young liked so much, and it comes with a great and deep interview.

Kwon Sang Woo spoke about his concerns as an actor in an interview with Harper′s Bazaar.

In the spread, the actor flaunted his manly charms, donning a neat suit, while in the interview he spoke candidly about his views, values and concerns as an actor.

He said he recently started to think a lot about his identity as an actor.

"Sometimes I come to think of myself as an outsider compared to other actors," he said. "I don′t want to have an image that′s like any other actor′s. I want to hear from others that Kwon Sang Woo looks like he′s going he′s own way, but he′s still doing fine."

He added, "I′m happiest when my audience laughs as they watch whatever I′m in. I want to be remembered as a cheerful actor."

Kwon Sang Woo will soon be starting on his next project, the MBC drama Medical Top Team, which will start airing on October 2.

It is his first medical drama in his career.

He said, "I never imagined I would be taking up a role like this, but I′ll be wearing a doctor′s gown in my next drama. I want to hear praise that Kwon Sang Woo is great in realistic roles, and not just roles like rich boys or princes."

All the cast for "Medical Top Team" stared into the monitors with fire in their eyes.

Behind cuts of the MBC drama set was revealed on the 6th.

kwon Sang-woo (Park Tae-sin), Jeong Ryeo-won (Seo Joo-yeong), Joo Ji-hoon (Han Seung-jae), Minho (Kim Seong-woo) and Jo Woo-ri (Yeo Min-ji) can be seen monitoring themselves on a small screen. The way they are staring into the screen makes them look like they have fire in their eyes.

The teamwork of "Medical Top Team" is outstanding, according to a staff on site. The cast make sure they follow up on their scenes until they get the perfect picture.

New MBC drama “Medical Top Team” revealed pictures of the two main actor and actress, Park Tae-sin (kwon Sang-woo) and Seo Joo-yeong (Jeong Ryeo-won).

In the pictures revealed, a woman is unconscious on the floor and kwon Sang-woo is breaking a big piece of ice while Jeong Ryeo-won is being covered in the broken pieces.

The intensity on both their faces sum up the situation that they are in.

This scene was shot in a hotel in Kangnam, in an enclosed space for several house.

Upcoming MBC drama 'Medical Top Team' is continuing to build hype for its premiere with still cuts of Kwon Sang Woo and Jung Ryeo Won's first meeting as their characters.

The still cuts show Kwon Sang Woo and Jung Ryeo Won's characters coming face to face for the first time as they try to help a woman who has fallen unconscious. Kwon Sang Woo takes it to the extreme by breaking an ice sculpture, possibly to somehow use to save the victim, while Jung Ryeo Won seems scared by his stunt.

kwon Sang-woo has a feeling of rivalry to Joo Won's "Good Doctor".

kwon Sang-woo was interviewed by MBC show "Section TV" on the 15th.

He mentioned that he checks on the competing drama "Good Doctor" but doesn't watch it.

He said, "I'm envious and I'm sure we would do much better". KBS 2TV drama "Good Doctor" is currently at a percentage close to 20%.

***KSW is so hot in a doctor’s uniform! That look suits him. Kwon Sang-Woo hasn’t looked this good in years. I like the funky hairstyle on the men. This definitely would be fun! I’m liking the idea of mixing action- special/skilled team- romance. No matter what, K-dramas will always include romance in their scripts. I actually prefer for these medical shows to strike a good balance. I’ve seen the trailer/teaser & seems like things happen quickly at this hospital. But, I wonder if all those chaos will happen on the first episode? I just hope there will be less shouting. Can’t wait to see this. I was rooting for this drama since I love medical dramas. Preview out for SBS’s Medical Top Team

The teaser is out for MBC’s new medical series Medical Top Team, starring Kwon Sang-woo, Jung Ryeo-won, and Joo Ji-hoon as elite doctors assembled to a special team to treat difficult cases. Think House, then, rather than the softer human drama of Good Doctor, which is doing quite well over in the Monday-Tuesday KBS slot these days.

That’s probably a good thing for this show to differentiate itself from the other one, although I do think that what makes Good Doctor a popular drama has little to do with its medical stories. I like the swift pace we get in this clip, with sharp professionals warning each other to pull their richard simmons together to save the patient. (The coddling of Good Doctor warms the heart, but I have to admit I wouldn’t want anybody at that hospital treating me. Maybe Joo Sang-wook on a good day.) They’re all specialists in different fields, too, which means we’ve got a lot of alphas on this team. Heh. Should make for an interesting dynamic.

We’re only given vague character descriptions of the doctors in this cast (the nice one, the cold one, the perfectionist one), so I expect Medical Top Team will focus more on medical cases than, say, personal growth or relationship issues. I just hope that means no hospital board politics, please.

The drama premieres on October 2; it’s the Wednesday-Thursday drama replacing Two Weeks.

'Medical Top Team' stars get ready for season premiere

Cast members of the new MBC drama “Medical Top Team” gathered at a press conference yesterday at Severance Hospital in Shinchon, northwestern Seoul.

Actress Jung Ryeo-won of the SBS drama “The King of Dramas” will work with other big-name stars, including actor Kwon Sang-woo of the SBS drama “King of Ambition.”

Producer Kim Do-hoon of the hit MBC drama “The Moon Embracing the Sun” will once again grab the megaphone to direct the production.

The new drama garnered much attention from K-pop fans as Minho from the popular boy group SHINee is taking up the challenge of acting.

The drama, which started filming back in August, will air its first episode on Oct. 2, after the end of the currently ongoing “Two Weeks.”

Ji Seong VS Kwon Sang-woo VS Lee Min-ho

A new battle has begun between the three broadcasting companies now that Chuseok is over. Fierce new dramas take over Wednesday and Thursday nights with different genres.

The first drama to be mentioned is the KBs 2TV drama "Secrets".

"Secrets" was pre-sold to Japan, China, Vietnam, Cambodia and other Asian countries even before it was shown in Korea and it tells the story of a man who falls in love with the woman who kills his lover.

The cast includes, Ji Seong, Hwang Jeong-eum, Bae Soo-bin and Lee Da-hee. Ji Seong takes on the role of a plutocrat named Min Hyeok who has everything but humanity. This drama is being anticipated as one that will bring KBS back to life this fall.

The next drama is MBC "Medical Top Team" which is about the best doctors in the country in a group who battle to make miracles happen. It will air on the 2nd of October.

Whether or not the public's attention for medical dramas will continue for "Medical Top Team" isn't sure yet. The cast includes, kwon Sang-woo as Park Tae-sin, Jeong Ryeo-won, Shinee Minho, Oh Yeon-seo and more.

Lee Min-ho from "Boys over Flowers" comes back as a prince once again. He stars in the SBS drama "The Heirs".

This drama is a romantic comedy dealing with wealthy students and their love and friendship. The story revolves around a poor girl and a bunch of wealthy kids who are heir and heiresses to the wealthiest entrepreneurs in the country. It is written by hit maker Kim Eun-sook.

This drama shows off a good load of popular stars including Park Sin-hye, Kim Woo-bin, Krystal, Kang Min-hyuk, Kim Ji-won-I, Choi Jin-hyeok, Hyung Sik and more.
