Famous Korean singer to perform in Vietnam

Rain, the most famous singer in Asia, will give two performances at Military Zone 7 Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City on March 10 and 11 as part of his 6-month world tour.

The tour started in the Republic of Korea in October 2006.

Rain will perform 19 songs during an hour and 40 minutes with the participation of 2 orchestras and a dancing group. Nearly 29 tonnes of musical instruments and equipment for the show will be transported by air to the city.

The total cost of the performance is estimated at 2.8 million USD and ticket prices will range from 250,000 VND (15.5 USD) to 2.5 million VND (155.4 USD).

According to the organisers, including the Vietnamese D&D Entertainment Company and the Republic of Korea’s EnterOne Corp, all the songs by Rain will be approved before being performed.

Rain will come to Vietnam a week earlier to get used to the conditions in Vietnam and meet with Vietnamese fans.
