Song Ji Hyo won the race by creating an unexpected situation on purpose.

On the episode of SBS TV’s Running Man that aired on January 6, the members raced to get hints to complete a mission.

Diving the players into two teams, they raced to a flag holding their queens, Song Ji Hyo and Choi Ji Woo. Kim Jong Gook and Lee Jong Hyun held Song and Choi, respectively. However, the queens had to stop the players who carried them from winning.

Song suddenly gave Kim a pinch on the hip. Kim got surprised and flung Song to the sandy ground. Kim tried to run to a flag again holding Song, but he had to give up because Song tried to stop him from getting the flag so hard. Song’s team eventually won the race.

Song Ji Hyo transforms into a pink police officer

 

As all her fans who watch her every weekend on 'Running Man' would attest to, Song Ji Hyo looks beautiful even right after she wakes up in the morning. This time though, she had shown how stunning she can look when she's been fully decked out.

The makeup brand Benefit has signed Song Ji Hyo as their new spokesperson and recently they've released a behind the scenes video clip of her photo shoot.

The video clip shows Song Ji Hyo transformed into a pink police officer, ready to deal with any beauty emergency. Song Ji Hyo is seen promoting Benefit's new product 'Fine One One' and she looks like the most lovely police officer in the world.

Song Ji Hyo was full of smiles even during breaks and she's seen looking at the camera with a beautiful smile in a scene shot during a break. She goes on to explain about the product and she tries it on as well.

Netizens commented Song Ji Hyo's video clip, "I'd love to get arrested if the police looked like her", "She makes you forget all about Mong Ji Hyo when you see her work outside of the show", "She can look girly, she can look cute, and she can even look tough, but in the end she always looks beautiful", and so on.

Word is the photo shoot lasted a long time, but Song Ji Hyo cheered on the photo shoot staff and she helped energize the set. She kid around with the mannequin and she tried to make everyone feel upbeat, doing a lot more than her part as the spokesperson of the brand.

Song Ji Hyo talks about her first time experience in voice acting

Actress Song Ji Hyo shared about her experience as a first time voice actor.

Song Ji Hyo played the voice actor of the character 'Lulu' in the animation film 'Maritime Police Marco'.

Playing the voice actor of the lovely character Lulu, Song Ji Hyo transformed the character into her own with her own brand of charm. Her voice was filled with aegyo throughout the film and she freely switched between high pitched voice and her normal voice to liven up the character. Song Ji Hyo's acting skills translated smoothly into her voice acting and she was able to breathe life into Lulu's character.

The on-screen chemistry between Lulu and Marco was fantastic, especially since Marco's voice actor is Song Ji Hyo's fellow 'Running Man' mate Lee Kwang Soo. There is a scene in the film where Lulu and Marco dance to an upbeat music, during the voice over acting of this scene Song Ji Hyo and Lee Kwang Soo made everyone laugh in the studio with their playful squabble.

About her first time experience as a voice actor Song Ji Hyo shared, "You always feel nervous meeting the audience in a different medium. I care a lot for the characters Lulu and Marco because of their bright personality and because they're first love to each other. I hope that the film will become a smile virus for the children who will soon be off from school with spring vacation coming up."

'Maritime Police Marco' will tell the adventurous story of the just and righteous maritime police officer Marco in his quest to rescue his girlfriend Lulu from Anipang Pang World. The film is slated to premier on February 14th.

Song Ji Hyo dreamed of becoming an actress watching Park Shin Yang, Gary & HaHa "Call me baby~"

 


'Running Man' members Song Ji Hyo, Gary, and HaHa all expressed love and respect for Park Shin Yang.

On the January 13th installment of SBS's 'Running Man', actors Park Shin Yang and Uhm Ji Won of the movie 'Baksoo Gundal' appeared as guests for the 2013 Opening Ceremony of the Year. (Baksoo Moodang = Shaman, medium, fortune teller. Baeksoo Gundal = Jobless hooligan. Baksoo Gundal is a word play on the two phrases.)

Song Ji Hyo expressed how happy she was to meet Park Shin Yang, sharing "I dreamed of becoming an actress watching the movie 'A Promise' that Park Shin Yang sunbae was in."

HaHa and Gary, who became team members of Park Shin Yang were also excited. HaHa showed off that he is a fan of Park Shin Yang saying, "Call me baby" (as in Park Shin Yang's hit phrase from the drama'Lovers in Paris') and "I watched all the movies that hyung was in."

HaHa and Gary also added, "Really loved the movie 'The Letter' that Park Shin Yang was on. So today, purposely wore (the beanie). Gary's concept especially is monk Hye Min (from the film 'Let's Play, Dharma')."

The episode of 'Running Man' was the 'War of Money' New Year's special in which the members made up the teams with Park Shin Yang and Uhm Ji Won, trying to win the bonus through the race.
