But unfortunately I didn't come in last place and some other girl did, but he mentioned to me that he wanted me to lose so we can go out together and get ice cream and that he was very disappointed. And by some point we started noticing that we both liked each other. He was the first to call and asked me out to go watch a movie.

KHD: Where was your first kiss? In a car?

KJS: Yes.

JJ: When I was 20, my girlfriend's parents really liked me at the beginning. During Christmas, I really wanted her to listen to Shinhwa's song so I saved up some money and bought a stereo and set it up for them. I wanted to stay and talk for awhile but I wanted to look cool so I just said 'Mother, take a rest' and left. Then all of a sudden one day, my girlfriend called and told me that her parents won't let her see me. So I asked why and I didn't why they would do this. Later on the parents were completely against us, so I decided to meet with them face to face. The dad told me that there's nothing to say and to stop seeing each other. That was the first time in my lifetime where I just started crying. Then the dad came out with the stereo that I bought them.

KHD: What did he say was the reason?

JJ: He said it was because I was a celebrity. He didn't know it at first but he saw me on TV. And he was [....] teacher. He asked me if he should walk me to my car. Tears were rolling down my face and I said 'no, I'll just leave'. I left and that time was when school just ended. 'Oh look that's Jun Jin from Shinhwa!' All these kids started to notice me and started taking pictures of me but I with tears rolling down my face walked to my car. Then my girlfriend called 'did the talk go well?' Even with tears down my face I told her yeah we had a good talk and let's talk later. So I hung up and cried in the car for 20 minutes. For a couple of months I went back to the parents and begged but they still said no.

This is part 3 and I'm done for tonight. There's like 6 more minutes of translation and I don't think I'm going to do it. Also I didn't translate Kim Ji Soo's police station story because I didn't know what she was talking about. I can guess and say that high school kids use to break into coffee shops and just hang out there during hte night time and she got caught, but I wouldn't be too sure. Also, I was tired so translation might be a little off. But you'll get the gist.

Today's question >> What's your biggest pain you've caused your parents?

PSH: When I look at Andy, you look like you're from a rich family who didn't experience a lot of grief growing up. How was it for you?

ANDY: When I was in elementary school, I immigrated and our family situation was difficult. My mother and father lived seperately.

YJS: And the reason why they lived separately is?

ANDY: Divorce.

ANDY: Yes it was very hard. After school to earn money I would work part time and come back home and make food.

JJ: I really didn't want to talk about this.. Ah, seriously. Right now I wanted to say thanks to my mom because she found me my biological mom. My mom right now found my biological mom. Ever since I was young, I always got stress thinking about the idea of my biological mom. With that lonely thought, 3 or 4 years ago my mom found my biological mom for me. Around 1 or 2 PM, I was at a coffee shop waiting for an hour when someone walked in. I felt that sense of 'oh she's my mom' right when she walked in. This is the person who I've never met since I was born. For an hour or two, we just sat crying. After that meeting, I didn't keep in touch with her because she told me she has a younger son who looks just like me. She told me not to contact her until he's an adult because he shouldn't go through this pain. She doesn't want to cause another person the same pain and said he probably has a good life right now. If she sees this program, she's going to want to see me, but..

PSH: Jung ah, you too?..

PJA: I lived with my grandma since middle school. It seems like a lot of parents are divorced these days. When I was in middle school, my parents got divorced and... my mom has diabetes and would go to the hospital by herself. One day I told her next time you need to go to the hospital, I'll take you in the morning and go with you. I promised her that. Even when I'm having a good day, I seem to think about that what if. I find myself thinking this is all my fault all the time. I never thought this sort of thing could happen to me since I was young and didn't know what life consisted of. You always think your parents will be by your side forever and love you but at any time, someone important and valuable to you can be in pain. I always think about this.

PSH: Is there something you want to say to your mom?

PJA: I want to eat my mom's kimchijjigae.

PSH: Whenever I see Park Jung Ah on TV, she's always smiling. I never imagined her to have this sort of pain.

PSH: Has anyone here ever runaway from home? Jun Jin, yeah. Park Jung Ah!?? Jung Ah, you've run away from home before? Jun Jin, I'm sorry. Jun Jin ran away from home, ok. Without even me knowing, I was startled that Park Jung Ah ran away from home. Why did you run away from home Park Jung Ah?

PJA: It was just a wind moment (as in everyone goes through it). I didn't do anything bad that made me runway.

PSH: Running away is the bad deed.

PJA: I even went to school even though I ran away from home. Whenever I did something bad my dad would take me to this mountain where I had to climb to save my life. We would have our safety belts on and there was a place we would take a break. We would rest there and my dad would say to me.. I don't know if my dad's too tough or not but.. 'If you're going to live like this, then let's just cut this rope' You and I, let's just drop down. He said he couldn't watch me grow up and not be an honest, good daughter. I think from then on, I started to get my act straight.

PSH: There's that saying 'Those who grow up getting hit (spanked) grow up to respect and obey their parents'.

PSH: We have to listen to Jun Jin's story about running away.

JJ: It just seemed like my relationship with my dad was in disorder and I was a boy in puberty. I was really scared of my dad and this is how much I was scared of my dad. 11 PM was my curfew, if it was 11:05, my dad would be waiting over there with his hair tied with his leather jacket on in a scary pose like the character in that comic. Exactly 5 or 10 minutes late, he'd be there. By 11:02, he would come out with a cigarette getting his body loose. He would have the stick in his jacket and you couldn't see it like this, but if he did this, it would come out. One time he said, 'if you don't want to get hit, block me' knowing that I couldn't block, that's when I ran away from home. This is something I heard from my mom, she told me he said 'If it's hard living out there, he'll come back home. Don't worry about him. You got to raise a man like a man'

PJA: Jun Jin is a man so it's okay but what about my dad? Why did he raise me like that? You know how on top of the moutain there's a little store that sells Soju and stuff. My dad would set up camp and just give me the eye and say 'Go' and I would run up taking 30 minutes to buy kim and other stuff.

JJ: My dad..

PSH: Are you trying to compete with each other?

JJ: You can read my dad's expression if he wants you to go buy something, his expression will slowly start to change and I'd go 'Ok'.
