첫 번째 주자는 다음 달 3일 개봉되는 '행복'의 임수정이다. 잔혹한 러브 스토리를 내세운 '행복'에서 임수정은 기존의 청순 이미지를 벗어던졌다. 귀여운 소녀 이미지를 뒤로 한 채 성숙하고 농익은 매력으로 승부수를 던진 것. '행복'에서 임수정이 맡은 '은희'는 중증 폐질환 환자지만, 누구보다 사랑에 적극적인 여자. 첫눈에 반한 상대에게 첫 키스를 유도하는 것도, 같이 살자고 제안하는 것도 모두 은희의 몫일 정도다.

　극 중 손예진이 맡은 소매치기 '백장미'는 형사들에게서 필요한 정보를 얻기 위해 성적 매력까지 이용하는 팜므 파탈이다. 영화 '클래식' '연애소설' '외출' 등에서 뛰어난 감성 연기를 펼쳐보인 그녀가 180도 다른 모습을 선보이는 것.

　이를 위해 손예진은 짙은 스모키 메이크업은 물론, 도발적인 섹시미를 강조하고자 가슴골을 그대로 드러내는 의상을 선택했다.

한편 그간 멜로 퀸으로 사랑받아온 김태희는 과감히 유부녀 카드를 골랐다. '중천'으로 스크린 신고식을 치른 김태희의 새 영화 '싸움'은 권태기에 접어든 부부가 몸싸움까지 벌이게 되는 과정을 그린 하드보일드 로맨틱 코미디. 김태희는 유리공예가 '진아' 역을 맡아 처음으로 유부녀 역할을 소화한다. 기존의 참한 이미지를 벗고 몸싸움도 두려워하지 않는 강한 캐릭터에 도전한다.

　충무로의 한 관계자는 "폭넓은 연기 폭을 과시하는 30대 배우들에 비해 상대적으로 20대 여배우들의 연기 스펙트럼이 한정적이었던 것이 사실"이라면서 "이들의 성공 변신은 관객들을 극장가로 끌어내는 견인차 역할을 해낼 것으로 보인다"고 내다봤다.
