Plot

Eun Soo Good Day is a thriller K-drama that tells the story of Kang Eun Soo, an ordinary housewife who accidentally gets a hold of drugs that fell on the road and becomes part of a drug business to earn money for her husband's treatment.

Lee Young Ae In Talks To Star In Upcoming Thriller Drama By "Uncontrollably Fond" Director

Actress Lee Young Ae may be starring in the upcoming drama “Eun Su Good Day” (literal translation)!

On August 14, JTBC Entertainment News reported that Lee Young Ae had been cast to lead the new drama “Eun Su Good Day.” In response to the report, Lee Young Ae’s agency clarified, “Lee Young has received an offer for the drama and is reviewing [the offer] positively.”

“Eun Su Good Day” is a thriller drama that tells the story of a housewife in her 40s with a sick husband, who unknowingly picks up drugs on the street.

The drama will be helmed by Park Hyun Suk of “The Princess’s Man,” “Uncontrollably Fond,” and “Stranger” Season 2.

Lee Young Ae is currently filming her upcoming tvN drama “Maestra” (literal title), which is scheduled to premiere in December.

Lee Young Ae will possibly star in a new thriller K-drama.

On August 14th, media outlets reported that Lee Young Ae will be joining forces with director Park Hyun Suk for the upcoming K-drama Eun Soo Good Day (working title).

Lee Young Ae's agency Good People Entertainment responded to the casting reports. According to them, Lee Young Ae did receive the offer and she is positively considering her appearance in the upcoming K-drama. 

Eun Soo Good Day will tell the story of a woman in her 40s with a sick husband who accidentally picks up a medicine that fell on the street. 

According to reports, director Park Hyun Suk who is known for helming the K-dramas Stranger Season 2, Uncontrollably Fond, and The Princess's Man, will be in charge of the upcoming K-drama. 

There are no reports yet on where the K-drama will be broadcasted and when it will premiere. 

Many are already showing their interest in the upcoming K-drama as this will possibly be the next work of the top actress after her upcoming tvN K-drama Maestra.

 

 

This year, Lee Young Ae will finally return to K-dramas after two years. The top actress is set to lead the upcoming music thriller K-drama Maestra with Lee Moo Saeng, Hwang Bo Reum Byeol, Kim Young Jae, and Park Ho San. 

Lee Young Ae made her acting debut in 1993. She has starred in various K-dramas such as Inspector Koo, Saimdang, Light’s Diary, Jewel in the Palace, Invitation, Romance, Because I Love You, Their Embrace, Love and Marriage, and more. 

The top actress also participated in the films Bring Me Home, Sympathy for Lady Vengeance, One Fine Spring Day, Joint Security Area, and Inshalla.

Kim Young Kwang will reportedly join Lee Young Ae in a new K-drama produced by Wind Pictures.

On July 18, media outlets reported that Kim Young Kwang would join hands with Lee Young Ae in the new thriller K-drama Eun Soo Good Day. 

Kim Young Kwang's side hasn't responded yet to the casting reports. 

If Kim Young Kwang decides to join  Eun Soo Good Day, this will be his third upcoming K-drama. 

The model-turned-actor is set to lead the upcoming Netflix original K-drama Trigger with Kim Nam Gil, Woo Ji Hyun, and Gu Hyun. He is also expected to return to the K-drama version of Mission 2: Possible. He will reportedly reunite with actress Lee Sun Bin.

Aside from K-dramas, Kim Young Kwang will also be active in films. He will star in the upcoming movies 50 First Dates and Comeback Home.

Eun Soo’s Good Day is an upcoming drama depicting the story of people involved in drug sales. The female protagonist Kang Eun Soo ( to be played by Lee Young Ae) is an ordinary housewife who jumps into a dangerous profession while struggling to pay the medical bills for her terminally ill husband. She starts selling drugs worth hundreds of billions of won that she finds.  

 

While doing so, she crosses paths with Lee Kyung. He is a well-rounded art instructor by the day with perfect looks, personality, and wealth. But when night falls, he transforms into a peddler who sells drugs to rich children hanging out at a famous club in Gangnam. After the duo meet each other, they team up to sell drugs and experience unexpected incidents along the way. 

Eun Soo’s Good Day will be helmed by Song Hyun Wook, the director of The King’s Affection, The Beauty Inside, The Golden Spoon, The Midnight Studio, and more. popular K-dramas. He has also directed tvN’s upcoming drama Serendipity’s Embrace starring Kim So Hyun and Chae Jong Hyeop. The screenplay for Eun Soo’s Good Day has been penned by Jeon Young Shin, known for Cheese in the Trap.
