Byun Yo Han will potentially star in a new fantasy drama!

On May 22, Byun Yo Han’s agency TEAMHOPE shared, “Byun Yo Han has received the offer to star in ‘Reborn’ and is currently reviewing it with a positive outlook.”

“Reborn” narrates the story of Hwanin, the ruler of the Heavens in Korean ancient mythology, who possesses the ability to remember past lives.

Reportedly, Byun Yo Han has been offered the role of Baek Beom, a detective who can see the past lives of others.

The series will be helmed by director Lee Dong Yoon of “The Greatest Love,” “Feast of the Gods,” “Fated to Love You,” “She Would Never Know,” and “Race.”

Currently, Byun Yo Han is starring in Disney+’s “Uncle Samsik.”

Esom in talks join Byun Yo Han in the fantasy K-drama "Reborn"

Actress Esom will reportedly join the upcoming K-drama Reborn.

According to media outlets on June 12, Esom has been chosen to be the female lead of the upcoming fantasy thriller K-drama Reborn. The K-drama was also offered to actor Byun Yo Han. 

Esom's agency hasn't responded to the casting news. 

If Esom confirms her participation in Reborn, this will be her follow-up K-drama after the TVING K-drama LTNS with Ahn Jae Hong, Jung Jin Young, Kim Sae Byeok, and Lee Hak Joo. 

Before she appears again on the small screen, Esom will first star in the upcoming movie Escape which will be led by Lee Je Hoon, Koo Kyo Hwan, Hong Xa Bin, Song Kang, and Shin Dong Hyeon. 

Esom will also lead the upcoming film Starlight Is Falling with Ong Seong Wu, Shim Eun Kyung, Yang Dong Geun, and Yeom Jung Ah. 

The actress is known for being part of the K-dramas Black Knight, Taxi Driver, Save Me Season 2, The Third Charm, Because This Is My First Life, and more. 

Byun Yo Han and Esom are both known for being part of hit films. The casting of Reborn raises curiosity on how the chemistry will be between the two great actors.

EXO’s Suho may be starring in a new fantasy drama!

On July 22, it was reported that Suho is currently considering a role in the new drama “Reborn” (working title).

In response to the report, SM Entertainment shared, “Suho has received an offer to appear in ‘Reborn’ and is currently reviewing it.”

“Reborn” is a fantasy crime thriller drama that tells the story of individuals who possess the ability to remember past lives.

Previously, Byun Yo Han was revealed to be in talks for the drama. Esom has also been reported to join the cast, although her representative has yet to comment on the report.

The series will be helmed by director Lee Dong Yoon of “The Greatest Love,” “Feast of the Gods,” “Fated to Love You,” “She Would Never Know,” and “Race.” Scriptwriter Han Ah Reum, who co-wrote “See You in My 19th Life” will also be involved in the project.

Real-life friends EXO's Suho and Byun Yo Han will possibly work together in a new K-drama.

On July 22, media outlets shared that Suho will be joining the reported main leads Byun Yo Han and Esom in the upcoming K-drama Reborn. 

Suho's agency SM Entertainment responded to the reports through the media outlet Daily Sports. According to the agency, "Suho did receive the casting offer to star in the new series Reborn. The EXO member is currently reviewing the offer. "

Just last month, the K-drama was also reportedly offered to actress Esom. There is no official information yet about the confirmed main leads for the upcoming series.

Suho recently starred in the historical MBN K-drama Missing Crown Prince. This was his first ever leading role in the historical genre and he worked alongside Hong Ye Ji, Myung Se Bin, Kim Min Kyu, Kim Joo Heon, Yoo Se Rye, and more. 

He is known for being part of the K-dramas Behind Your Touch, Rich Man, Prime Minister and I, and more. He is currently active in his solo activities in singing and acting. 

Suho is currently busy with his world tour named "Su: Home." He will soon visit Malaysia and Indonesia before he embarks on his tour in Europe in September.
