Park Shin-hye revealed her admiration for Joo Hyun-young.

On the SBS PowerFM '12 O'Clock Joo Hyun-young (hereafter '12 O'Clock')' broadcast on the afternoon of the 19th, actors Park Shin-hye and Kim Jae-young from the new SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Judge from Hell' appeared.

On this day, Park Shin-hye said, "I first encountered Hyun-young through another broadcast, but she was so charming and lovable. I was so interested in her that I even looked her up. I happened to pass by and met her when she was with actress Kim Ah-young, and I greeted her so happily without realizing it."

Joo Hyun-young agreed, saying, "I almost said, 'Oh, unnie.' Actually, I used to do a lot of voice impressions of Cha Eun-sang from 'The Heirs'. Whenever I had a hard time at my part-time job, I would pretend to be Cha Eun-sang and mop the floor," making everyone laugh.

(These 2 love complimenting each other. 🫠)
He first said he was happy being (filming) with ShinHye and I think the drama will be good. Then MC was like I want to know  about the drama. Are you filming something of your own (teasing him).
Then in an unshown cut edited out where he talked about how he observed how she's so consistent in her emotions as in not affected by ups & downs that he came to rely on her. There were times he was not able to focus & but she'd come and talk to him (like supporting him). Said he learned a lot. Felt sorry that she's the younger sis and he should have taken care of her but ended up he feels sorry he couldn't do that ( she looked after him instead)
SH: But on set , the reason I didn't have these ups and downs was because I met a good partner. ...even though KJY said he was tired on the set, but he was always with the staff. Since there are many cast & crew members, I too don't rest much. ...Jaeyoung oppa will look out for each person by sharing his tireless energy with each person. So I think I was naturally able to receive that energy and we were able to work in harmony.

Detective Kim Jae Young Exudes Authority As He Captures A Suspect In "The Judge From Hell"

Sep 20, 2024
by M Lim

SBS’s upcoming drama “The Judge from Hell” has teased an exciting glimpse of Kim Jae Young in action!

“The Judge from Hell” is a new fantasy romance drama starring Park Shin Hye as Kang Bit Na, a demon from hell who has entered the body of a judge. After meeting the compassionate detective Han Da On (Kim Jae Young), who works hard at his job in a reality harsher than hell, Kang Bit Na embarks on a journey to becoming a true judge.

Kim Jae Young plays Han Da On, a warmhearted detective in the violent crimes unit. Not only is he caring and gentle, but he is also a sharp and perceptive police officer with exceptional powers of observation. Despite being so warm that he can even melt the heart of a demon, Han Da On is secretly hiding a painful emotional wound that no one else knows about.

The newly unveiled stills reveal a stark contrast to Han Da On’s gentle image. In one shot, Han Da On is observing someone intently from inside a car at night with piercing eyes. Another shows him effortlessly overpowering a suspect with sheer force, while a final still captures him gripping a man’s collar, his intense gaze radiating authority and charisma as if delivering a silent warning.

[Kesta News=Reporter Lee Jun-sang] Actor Oh Han-gyeol will appear in 'Judge from Hell'.

Oh Han-gyeol has been confirmed to appear in the new SBS drama 'Judge from Hell' (written by Jo Yi-soo, directed by Park Jin-pyo, produced by Studio S), an action fantasy about the coexistence of good and evil where Kang Bit-na (played by Park Shin-hye), a 'devil from hell' who enters the body of a judge, meets the humane and passionate detective Han Da-on (played by Kim Jae-young) in a reality more hellish than hell and is reborn as a true judge by punishing criminals.

In the drama, Oh Han-gyeol plays the role of Yoo Min-jun, the son of Yoo Jeong-im (played by Park Ji-yeon), a tenant of Hwangcheon Villa #101. Min-jun is a shy and quiet third-year middle school student. He perfectly portrays the character of a filial son who loves his mother so much that he walks Jeong-im to the main street every night out of concern for his mother who walks alone in the dark alleys, and he is expected to increase the immersion of the drama.

Oh Han-gyeol left a strong impact as the child actor of Nam Goong-min in tvN's 'Day and Night', and caught attention as the son of Jung Man-bok (played by Kim Young-min) and Hyun Myung-soon (played by Jang So-yeon) in 'Crash Landing on You'. In addition, he appeared in a series of big hit dramas such as 'Voice', 'The Last Empress', 'Life on Mars', 'Two Cops', and 'Suspicious Partner', leaving a distinct presence on viewers.

In particular, in the recently released movie 'The Shepherd', he played the role of 'Yohan', a boy who faced the world on his own without receiving any care from either his home or school, and delicately expressed the inner side of the complex, multifaceted character, leaving a deep impression.

Even at a young age, he has been steadily building his own filmography with his stable acting skills, and expectations are high for what new side of him he will show in this work.

'Judge from Hell', featuring Oh Han-gyeol, will air consecutively for two episodes on Saturday, September 21st at 9:50 PM.
