Kim Yuna, Park Ji Sung and Han Hyo Joo become ambassadors for G20 Seoul Summit

Korea’s figure skater, Kim Yuna, soccer player, representatives of Park Ji Sung and actress Han Hyo Joo attended a ceremony at the KFB Building this morning where they were appointed as goodwill ambassadors for the upcoming G20 Seoul Summit 2010.

A representative for the summit expressed that it was an important event for Korea and they decided to invite Kim Yuna and Park Ji Sung who are known globally for their sporting achievements and Han Hyo Joo who is loved for her dramas in Korea to be their goodwill ambassadors and inform Koreans the importance of it.

The trio have expressed that they are happy and honored to become goodwill ambassadors and will do their best to fulfil their duties.

The G20 Seoul Summit will take place from November 11 – 12th and promotional material involving the trio will be available on the official website shortly.

'Dong Yi' Stars to Promote Census

Actors Ji Jin-hee and Han Hyo-joo, both starring in the MBC drama "Dong Yi," have been named promotional ambassadors for Korea's population census.

Statistics Korea said Monday the two stars were selected because the civil register was established in the reign of King Sukjong, whom Ji plays in the period drama. Han plays the royal concubine Sukbin Choe, the birth mother of later King Yeongjo.

The census is conducted every five years. This year's survey will be carried out on Nov. 1 to 15, covering Koreans and resident foreigners.

Hi Everyone here, please don't give up voting. I managed to vote. I just keyed in HKG country code (852) and as for phone number - I entered 3 digits in the first box and 4 digits in the second box.

Hyo Joo's vote count is way behind now.. When I voted, Hyo Joo's count was 222, Chae Won (supporting actress) is leading with 260 votes. Lee Seung Gi is currently leading the male category with 1828 votes. Fighting! Don't give up!  You wouldn't want a supporting actress to lead over a leading actress, right?
