[Trans] 100722 ‘Telecinema’ To Attack Both Korea And Japan From August

The Korean-Japanese collaboration project ‘Telecinema’ will attack both Korean and Japanese homes later this year.

Samhwa Networks revealed that ‘Telecinema’, consisting of seven movies with seven Japanese screenwriters, seven Korean drama PDs, and twenty Hallyu stars, will be aired in mid-August from Japan to Korea. The movies will now be shown on television. The project garnered great attention when it was revealed that its cast would consist of top stars such as Ji Jin Hee, Kang Ji Hwan, Kim Ha Neul, Han Hyo Joo, and TVXQ’s YoungWoong Jaejoong.

A representative of Samhwa Networks stated, “They will be aired every Saturday at 11 JST on Asahi TV from the 21st of August. Three movies, such as ‘Paradise’, will be aired first. They will then be followed by the other four movies such as ‘Postman to Heaven’ starring YoungWoong Jaejoong and Han Hyo Joo.” The movies will begin airing in Korea in September as SBS’ Thanksgiving Drama Special.

[Trans] 100723 YoungWoong Jaejoong’s First Movie Is Released As A Korean Textbook In Japan

YoungWoong Jaejoong’s movie has been made into a Korean textbook for Japanese fans.

According to HMV, the biggest online album and book store in Japan, YoungWoong Jaejoong’s debut movie ‘Postman to Heaven’ has been published as a Korean textbook.

‘Postman to Heaven’ is a movie bout a Jae Jun, a phantom postman who wanders the real world, and was the first time YoungWoong Jaejoong and Han Hyo Joo worked together.

This book is a handbook for Hallyu fans wanting to learn Korean and includes photos with dialogue between YoungWoong Jaejoong and Han Hyo Joo in the movie in order to help fans better understand the content.

‘Postman to Heaven’ was released in May and brought in around 130,000 viewers. Afterwards, it was also released as a novel and a comic book.

I was a bit wary about an extension when Dong Yi started airing, but with the pace of the drama, there's still a lot to cover. So I'm merciful towards the 14-episode extension lol. I'm only upset about it because that means it's going to be a little more longer until Hyo Joo chooses her next project

Goodness! I think the hair looks really heavy because she's like having a hard time making a bow . And I'd so want to know what Kim Dong Yun said about Hyo Joo. I think I have a crush on his character, Shim Yun Taek coz he's weird and he's brainy.

lolz, Cindy, that's quite a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong way to go ....Shim Yun Taek is the exiled Confucian scholar  whom Dong Yi met Uiju. Apparently, this character is loosely based on that Confucian scholar who was exiled in Sukjong's reign because he was against the dethronement of Queen Inhyeon and I think he was a relative (if not the one) who wrote the book entitle " The Journey of Lady Ja to the South" or something like that. Gosh, I can't memorize the title . But that book, as said in the true history, also created a stir in those days and it was also depicted in this drama. For his fictional part in the drama, he is the one who's going to help Dong Yi with the brain battle (aka psychological war) against Queen Jang.

And speaking of Dong Yi, I'm reading some news that the Korean Tourism has included Dong YI set to be one of those that the invited countries will visit in early august as part of their ongoing tourism project. I hope we get to have some english news for this one because that is just how I understood the google translated news.

theresia_warner, don't worry, I think that's just for the official ceremony and she'll be given a different hanbok as her daily costume but I just don't know if its her old one or we get to see a new one.

Yeah, I love the boots.. but not with that outfit Hyo Joo's style is... questionable sometimes But it makes her endearing at the same time.

It seems to be like forever since she has attended any events. It seems like she is actually living the life of Dong Yi on the set. I may have a bad fashion sense but I agree that the shoe doesn't match with her current clothing

Other than that, she looks as angelic and gorgeous as always. Her smiles are still as sweet as ever. With the close up picture, I have noticed that her eyes are actually hazel brown in colour, interesting, haha Doesn't her current hairstyle looks nice? Simple yet nicely done.

Why is there always updates when I am either sleeping or at school? I am sad that I can only see them so late lol
