kmix is really good, $10 for 3 hours, pheonix is okay as well, but the sound quality is really bad, but is $10 from 1pm to 8 pm, ahhaha is quite worth it~~

abt sydney norebang havent u herd one of the rooms near the back is haunted? . . . .

like it was like 3 years ago and a bunch of girls were celebrating after their HSC i think it was 2004,

nd 9 of them went to sydney norebang, they sang and came out and went to pay and they had 2 pay like 50 dollars when it

was supposed 2 b like 45 cuz 5 dollars each, but the owner was like no there were 10 of u not 9, but they were like

nar nar there were only 9 and so the boss showed them a video and they saw 10 ppl like there was this girl sitting in the corner...

lol i still go to sydney no re bang but not to the rooms at the back...

any 1 else herd this b4?

i thought you payed before you go into the rooms

also you pay for the room, not the head count at

i've been near the backrooms of sydney k, one of the bigger ones

cause we had quite a few people. never heard of that story though

i went karaoking for the first time on saturday!

at Viva on castlereagh(sp?) street i think;

it was so fun. it seemed pretty deserted.

the exterior was ugly, but the interior was good!

we were wondering if we were the only ones who were present LOL

yeah there are heaps of good and bad karaokes in the city.. and most if not all are always populated with little teenyboppers (13-16 year olds) who think they're all that =P no offence..

i dont think the karaoke in sydney are anything like the ones in asian countries where there are prostitutes.. its illegal thank god!

regarding alcohol, some places are BYO and you'll need an ID but other places sell it there and you wont be able to bring your own in..

i personally like k-square coz its the most hygenic? lol.. service is crappy tho.. i hear greenbox + is the best.. but ive never been myself.. i also know theres a krn K in chatty.. but never been there either.. lol..i know where it is tho..
