Well for age issue. I think we've done with this topic before.  bogum said he doesnt matter about age gap in relationship. And by time yoojung will be at legal age to date (actually I dont care about legal age kekkekee, but korean people does care)  All we have to do is just patiently waiting and have faith in this ship. 

Anyway we are in modern era, not joseon. so they can communicate as much as they want by chatting or video call without we knowing right?

The 14th in Korea - a special day every month for love birds

 

Korea loves a celebration and the 14th is a day to remember. And I don’t mean the 14th of one month – I mean every month!

In Korea, as well as celebrating anniversaries and 100th Day, some young people – particularly couples – like to celebrate on the 14th of every month.
In Korea, there is a celebration day on the fourteenth day of EVERY month, often celebrating love and relationships (a bit tough on any single people).

These days are mostly intended for teenagers and young adults, but some people like having the excuse to show particular affection to their loved one.

So, from Diary Day to Hug Day, here are all of those special dates you want to remember for you and your loved one.

January 14th – Diary Day
As many Koreans like to keep diaries, January 14 is a day where couples traditionally give each other a diary as a gift and a cute token to begin the year with. It’s a cute idea for a tradition and also means that, when couples write in their diaries, they think of their loved one.
Also, as a handy reminder, couples like to mark the diaries with all the dates of anniversaries and special occasions that the couple share for their other half!

February 14th – Valentine’s Day
Valentine’s Day is very common celebration all around the world – a day where people confess their love to their crushes and when couples make a great effort to celebrate their love for each other. People give gifts, chocolates, poems (and even sometimes rings) to the one they love.
Sometimes people also make it a statement of proving love, sometimes by sacrificing their dignity to make a display of affection.
In Korea and Japan, it is traditional that women give handmade chocolates to men to show their feelings. And, if it works, their efforts are rewarded the following month.

March 14th – White Day
White Day is the day that the men reciprocate the love to the ladies in their lives by giving them cute candies (not chocolates) as a token of affection. Often they are heart-shaped or cute.
A lot of men also give candies to friends and co-workers as a gesture as well.
Sweet!

April 14th – Black Day
Black day is a less joyous day than Valentine’s Day or White Day. Black Day is the day in Korea where single people, who did not receive anything on Valentine’s Day or White Day, gather in groups, to eat 자장면 (Jajangmyeon – a noodle dish topped with a black soy bean sauce called Chunjang 춘장 ) to mark being single.
Not so much a celebration day, but a good excuse to get together for Chinese food!

May 14th – Rose Day/Yellow Day
Rose Day: A day where people give a yellow rose to their loved one, or arrange a date somewhere that has roses.
Yellow Day: If a single person couldn’t have Jajangmyeon on Black day, they eat yellow rice and wear yellow clothes in the hope of finding someone by the next year. Some people wear full yellow outfits and spend all day eating bananas!
June 14th – Kiss Day
This is for singles and couples alike: Everyone tries to get a kiss with the person they like!

June 14th – Kiss Day

Pucker up, because Kiss day is the day you may get to plant one on the one you love.

Kiss day is about trying to win that kiss from the person you have in your heart. 

July 14th – Silver Day
On this day couples exchange gifts made of silver, like jewlry or charms, as a sign of commitment.
Or, some people also go on a date where the older person in the relationship picks up the bill!

August 14th – Green Day
My first guess for this one was that couples sit together listening to the band Green Day, but instead they are supposed to walk in the woods wearing green while single people drink Soju, as it usually comes from a green bottle.

September 14th – Photo Day
As expected, couples go out on this day to take photos together to capture their love. It is common to go to a beautiful place.

October 14th – Wine Day
Everyone drinks wine!

November 14th – Movie Day/Orange Day
Exactly as the name suggests, couples go to see a movie together. However, on this day, the film should be accompanied with drinking orange juice.

December 14th – Hug Day
Everyone hugs the people they love. Whether single or not, this day is a lovely excuse to give your loved ones some affection (and can help everyone get into the Christmas spirit)

 

 

 

@seoulisticthank you for sharing such an informative post! Whoah, there's a long list of celebrations every month lol. I tried to check on BG and YJ's respective SNS timelines. I was interested in Sept. 14, the photo day. Too bad I couldn't really capture any signs that indicate they were 'celebrating' the photo day. Oh well, even if they did, they might not want to show it to the world lol. Besides during that date they're still pretty busy live-shooting MDBC. But I'm not giving up, I'm looking forward to observe their timelines on Dec. 14

My Dearest BoYoo Ship Chingudeul,

WARNING – LONG POST - PART 1

The following are my own opinion and observation of the events that happened over the last few days.

I was initially of course very excited about this fanmeet because I absolutely adore Bogummy. And at the same time as a BoYoo shipper, I was also hoping to witness some form of BoYoo hints through this fanmeet. The hype was intensified when I saw the matching airport fashion – the long brown jacket, even though they were a few thousand miles apart in 2 different airports.

HOWEVER, when BG appeared for the press conference, and upon listening to what he had to say, I started to have this weird “female instincts” that I was not going to witness those things, not at least at this fan meet. ***There will be some positive observations too in later parts…..please bear with me.

My reasons for the above:

ONE. When asked about the most memorable scenes from MDBC, BG flatly declined that he won’t reveal anything as the drama is still airing on Malaysia’s 8TV (and its currently around the puppet theatre episode – the length of the ep is slightly different, so I’m not sure what ep. to call it).

TWO. There were NO questions at all about previous co-stars or any mention about any other stars for that matter – if my memory is correct, he did not mention any names throughout the press conference, except about his character. I am not sure about the individual interviews by medias. But I believe it was the same, since to the best of my knowledge, it has not been reported (yet).

This line of questioning continued in the fanmeet. I will explain a little bit about the best scenes shortly.

THREE. My female instincts. I don’t know, how to explain, but I just felt it when I saw the interview.

At the fan meet, the part about the best scenes.

Let me give the background to the selection of scenes first. The organisers gave us 9 scenes each from the two dramas to choose from------this I do not know who selected……to make it easy, I’m listing them here:

6.       First person I made in Joseon (no. 2)

9.       Cosmos scene (dialogue BEFORE last kiss) – my choice

BG’s reaction to fan choice:

Reply 88: overall he also like all the scenes from top 3.

About choice no. 2 – he said something along the lines that “good timing for the pause” – meaning (me: thank God) it stopped just before the kiss! (my BoYoo heart say…..YES!)

About choice no.1 – he seems intrigued, and asked the audience…..do you like to be hugged? And the MC said…..don’t ask questions like this, of course they like to be hugged!!!!

MDBC: he expressed that he also like all of the top 3 choices.

BUT he did SPECIFICALLY say that he like no. 3 as well. I remembered in one interview he said this was his personal favorite (as opposed to fans favorite) because you can relate the words in real life. This particular scene was also the same scene he chose to screen shot himself with his hotel TV when MDBC was aired on Friday. I’m not sure if its coincident or intentional, only HIS picture was in it.

I have mixed feelings about this deliberate mentioning about this scene:

Negative: he was said goodbye to…….???? Or love confessed but we cannot be together……????

Postive: he is hinting someone to confess???? Or because this whole dialogue is the one that leads to that monumental first KISS with Raon/Samnom/YJ (ahem) – hey, she maybe underage, but I gotto kiss her on national TV anyways…….eat your heart out LMH93! And all the rest of you guys! Sending greatwallofBogum message to all boys out there

I guess no. 1 choice was no surprise to him, so he also asked how it is said in Malay.

After he re-enacted the scene in Korean……HE BIT HIS LIPS! (remember the LAST time he re-enacted the scene? At MAMA -------- and he was with who? And wearing what outfit? WHITE SUIT------do you get my drift? And he bit his lips then too……….so you be the judge

I don’t think the biting lips is due to shyness at least for this time, because to me the bombastic dance and the pingpong ball session was even more embarrassing to do than re-enacting that scene, and he did not bite his lips then.

I’m rather surprised that both kiss scene dialogues didn’t make it to the top 3, also BY’s supposed death too. I thought that even if they did, maybe the organisers decided not to choose because those scenes are such giveaways for those who have not watched the drama yet. Please don’t throw stones of me for implying that the vote might be rigged…….

Also, I noticed when MDBC scenes were being shown, the 3 on stage (BG, MC and interpreter) was discussing something, I think BG was confused to see the scenes that has not been aired also got to top 3. I guess just like when he was in Cebu, he did not know that MDBC was shown on KBSW in this region. And of course, many of us also watched it online.

So to sum up the best scene analysis, he gave more corresponding reactions to MDBC choices…..so to the chingudeul who were upset by Reply 88 kiss scenes……don’t worry it was not shown anyway during THAT section, (but it was shown during the filmography section along with Wonderful Mama kiss scene----sadly no MDBC kisses – but BG was not on the stage---it was before he came out) He even mentioned his arrow practice scene during the photo section. And that was the ONLY picture that is related to his dramas/movies from all of the pictures he generously showed us. Well partly to promote the drama too. And he also mentioned that he was not satisfied with his action scenes because he could not spend enough time at the martial art training school as he also have to focus on LY’s character. Look how much effort he gave to MDBC.

OKAY, my overall observations. I think to avoid any suspicions, curiosity and misinterpretations, Bogummy has kept all forms of connections with co-stars on stealth mode during this fanmeet trip. So, even the video messages from fellow artists, there were only people who he is closed with but who are not his co-stars and they were all male: Kwang Soo/BTS/Jong Kook/ Cha Tae Hyun. This way, he doesn’t have to resort to lying about anything, because:

When asked to describe himself in 3 words, he answered instead, that he wants to be known as someone who is 1. Honest 2. Sincere and 3. Always strives to be do/be his best.

BONUS 1

I’m probably reading too much into his choices for both dramas, but here’s my take. I’m not focusing only on the selected lines, but the overall dialogue and meaning to the scenes. Other than being diplomatic in not choosing scenes with his female co-stars, and being neutral, I think there’s some other hidden messages in his choices.

In Reply 88 choice, dad REVEALS that he hadn’t decided on anything yet, BUT, with Sun Woo’s mother as good friends ----as someone to talk to…..he’d like to spend the remainder of his life with her. And Taek replied, I want you to have a good meal even if I’m not here with you. It’s your life, I want you to be happy. If you are happy, then I’m fine with it all. Highlighted part a secret code?

That last line……sounds familiar? It’s the same line in MDBC episode 12 princess bride carry scene.

Yeong said to Raon: If you’re happy, I’m happy…….(even if you’re outside the palace with your mom…)

In MDBC choice, after Yeong shouted at King (flashback while standing wt Raon watching King and Consort Park) for not doing what he should do or do more, King said……I cannot do anything! I should not do anything! Only then I can keep you safe. It is to keep you safe. When I tried to do something as King I lost 2,000 people. I even lost the Queen. I lost all of my teachers and friends the same way. Because I am incompetent, this is the only way I can protect my people. I must……I must not do anything. (now try changing King=boyfriend, my people=YJ, the 2000 people=non BoYoo shippers)

After that scene, Raon said, I am very happy that Consort Park finally found out his majesty’s feelings for her. But I wonder why he had to write a secret letter…. His majesty is the one who rules over the world. What could make him afraid and hide things? (resort to secret code)

And Yeong said, I have just realized it now, too. He’s not just a king with a crown on his head, but also a husband of a beloved wife, and an irreplaceable father (this is message to BoYoo shippers???)

BONUS 2

Someone posted on this thread the video where Bogummy danced to TWICE’s song. Twice as we know is Yoojungie’s favorite group. That part REALLY came out of nowhere! At that time I didn’t think much about it, but after watching the fanvids……I started to notice a pattern…..Bogummy was so animated and excited and really cute when he made silly references to SONGS!. He also sometimes just laughs for no reasons and no explanations……hahahah!

I’ll explain the Twice “incident”. He was supposed to complete the bingo game. So technically to save time he should go with 1-5-9. But instead he chose 3 and 8 to lengthen the game. So since he had chosen 3 and 8, to complete BINGO he had to choose either 2 or 9. And he chose 2. So it made the BINGO the shape of “T”. He said it’s “T” for “terima kasih” (thank you in Malay).

And then……he suddenly talked about Twice…..and started dancing……not once but TWICE (pun intended) and made some other cute gestures……I’m not familiar with those though…..maybe someone can explain. But while doing that, he kept repeating that he doesn’t know the lyrics well and kept looking for help from the audience…..and confirming with them.

 

 

PART 2

 

OK, and THIS next one I think is REALLY good……

When he was asked to wear the Malay traditional outfit……he can’t help noticing that it’s PURPLE. I have yet to find the video with this part in it…..it’s actually just before the part in this video:

 

I also love the part where he extends his arms, like when Raon was putting on his robe…..ehehehe. I think he emphasised on that twice…..if you notice……

Okay back to the point where he noticed the color is purple…..and started to laugh and he said….”this is purple” in English….and started singing a song……I googled, and I think it’s this one:

The lyrics are so…….THEM!

I can even picture them singing this song at doraebang……oh no! My shipper’s hearts……I hope he will sing this in some other FM…..oh my gawd!

And who was wearing purple hanbok as a girl? Also their matching cosmos hanbok in the BEAUTIFUL and heart fluttering kiss scene????

SO, my analysis………drum roll please…….

I think he has been doing this a LOT recently, I mean making silly references to songs, because now, he finally found someone who actually GETS it……..OMG!

I’m like that too with my husband, but more with movie lines though…….

Okay, I forgot one more thing.....he also bit his lips once again when MC told him he can come Malaysia for flower viewing anytime of the year because we have bunga RAYA.....sounds closed to bunga RAON......my delulu mind.....sorry! Coz i can't figure out the lip biting there.......maybe he already sets his mind to to come to Malaysia again......with someone......someone who LOVES food, coz he said before he came to Malaysia, he has heard a lot about the delicious food in here, but after coming here and tried the food.....it is BEYOND his expectations.....yay! so proud when he said that! 

And I really want to say KUDOS to Owen Yap, for bringing the best out of Bogummy that night. We were all laughing ourselves silly with his jokes and Bogummy was really really happy and relaxed.

Thanks BoYoo mum....how silly of me.....he DID sang the song....no wonder he was reminding the audience......and now I get the flowers......I guess I was too busy starstruck looking at him that I did not notice the song.....LOL! No wonder the song sounded so familar......hmmmm......now it made me even curious of the choice of song......coz that song REALLY reminded me of Raon's revelation in the secret garden wearing the purple hanbok. 

And by the way.....I can be clearly seen almost full body and smiling in this video because my seat is right besides the stairs where he walked pass.....and I said "saranghaeyo" to him.....but could not pass my card.....coz he was holding the mic in one hand and the flowers in another.....besides the security was denying everyone trying to pass their letters to him.....

My daughter managed to selfie herself with him walking pass....with only my head.....coz I was facing and staring at him.....of course.....
